I think I have found my dream sitter :) We had arranged that Sentella would arrive earlier to learn the care regimen for my diabetic cat. Unfortunately, old age caught up with Honey before Sentella arrived, but Sentella came anyway, as planned, and took a few days to settle in, while dealing with jetlag and lost luggage with far better grace than I would have. She was also very gracious about my husband changing our travel plans (twice!) without warning, for which I remain very grateful. There were some issues while we were away (just normal "**** happens" stuff, nothing to do with Sentella), that she took in her stride, and dealt with after checking in with me. I appreciated her no-fuss, no-drama attitude, and was really able to relax while we were away. We arrived back to two very chilled pets, who were moderately pleased to see us, which sounds odd but is high praise indeed - no frenetic "save us!" greeting, no sulking, just "oh, you're home - nice to have you back" :D They had fully settled with Sentella, judging by the update pictures I received, and this was undoubtedly the most relaxed Clara has ever been with a stranger, which speaks volumes. The house was exactly as we had left it, and I particularly appreciated not finding dirty dishes and burnt-on food left on the cookware. Honestly, if I hadn't know she had been there, I wouldn't have known anyone had been there at all :). Our houseman (cleaner/gardener) also gave her the thumbs up - I suspect he got to take a little vacation during Sentella's stay, as there doesn't seem to have been much for him to do. I would love to have her back to sit for us again, and have no reservations at all in recommending her wholeheartedly to others.

In one word, it was just perfect. Rosie was the sweetest, gentle, cuddly, well behaved dog you could wish for! And Doug and Cindy are wonderfull, welcoming, well organized, hosts. We very much enjoyed meeting them.
The house is perfectly located in a quiet welcoming( including dog walking neighbors) neighborhood. Great views all around and Grand Junction is a great place to be!

We had a wonderful time sitting for Jo and Jack. They are a lovely couple with a picture perfect house in a gorgeous location. The house is very comfortable and had everything needed to make yourself at home and comfortable. Callie is the sweetest dog, such a wonderful friendly girl, and we had a lot of fun on the walks and playing with her in the beautiful garden. The house backs straight onto the canal, and Jo and Jack kindly let us use the paddle boards to take a leisurely cruise to a lovely pub for lunch. Thank you so much for letting us sit for you x

If you're lucky enough (pun intended!) to spend time with Lucky and Biscuit ... you're very lucky indeed. :)

What a beautiful sit, in a gorgeous flat, in the nicest part of Tbilisi. Lucky and Biscuit are well-behaved cats with lovely personalities. They're calm and fun, and once they get used to you, they'll be very happy to cuddle. Naps in the sun are always on the schedule, and if you need your feet warmed they'll be glad to do it for you.

At the time of my sit, Lucky was taking a pill once per day and gave me a bit of attitude the first time or two I tried to give it (which is totally normal and to be expected). However, after she figured out that you mean business, she settles right down and takes it, no problem. If you sit her -- don't stress about giving the pill. She really will get used to taking it from you.

In terms of the home ... if you're keen to get out and see the city, enjoy some great food and wine, view art, shop cool boutiques and more ... you'll find what you're looking for within walking distance.

But be forewarned, you probably won't want to go out all that much .... because your two furry companions will be so charming, you'll just want to stay in and cuddle. :)

I thoroughly enjoyed my time house sitting for Olive and Una, they are complete love monsters and just want to be with you!

The sit was confirmed after a video call a few weeks prior, with Carolyn which helped us both have the opportunity to ask any questions and to have a general chat to see if we were both happy with the match.

Beaumaris is a super town, the house just a 5-10 minute walk from the main street. The scenery of the snow topped mountains on the mainland is just beautiful, I just loved it.

Carolyn's communication was excellent all the way through and the THS welcome guide/pack was very comprehensive and useful. There is skso a printed version to refer to in the house.

Both Olive & Una are so well behaved and fun littke dogs. They were great travelling in the car too when they came with us on days out adventuring around Anglesey. Carolyn had warned that Olive can be a bit reactive to dogs so I was careful only to let her off load when on deserted beaches and she was able to enjoy some free range time exploring & sniffing. Both dogs had good recall.

If you walk down the highstreet, they WILL try & take you into The Ole Bulls Head pub. It made us laugh each time so on our last day we let them lead the way and went inside for a drink. The bar staff recognised them straight away saying they are like local celebrities in the pub and there's a selection of doggy treats behind the bar that you can buy for them. So funny & cute.

I had a thoroughly enjoyable time on this housesit and I'm grateful to Carolyn & Glen for choosing me to be their THS on this occasion. Some great memories were made and I'd certainly love to sit for them again sometime in the future.

We had the BEST time with Taco and Chili in Pam's beautiful home. They are very independent but also friendly, and Pam has everything set up wonderfully so her cats can really enjoy their home with a lot of cool toys and outdoor privileges. Pam explained everything clearly and was really friendly and down to earth. We loved her personality. We hope to get to help all three of them again in the future!
