Dog Sitters in Freeport, ME

Carissa was very responsive and my cat seemed significantly less stressed after staying with her than when I have someone come check on her while traveling. I would definitely have her come sit again! This was my first experience with homesitters and I learned a lot. I think I would have liked to hear from Carissa more during the sit but whenever I reached out I got a prompt response. My house was clean and my cat was happy - can't ask for more!

Samantha was very communicative from the start and stayed that way throughout our trip. She sent daily updates and photos which we loved seeing and it was obvious that our animals were happy and well cared for. I had what I thought would be a 2 day repair project planned, and they were so flexible and patient when it turned into a full week! Yikes! Came home to a spotless house and happy animals and would welcome this nice family back anytime.

Leslie and Miles were wonderful sitters and we would be delighted to host them another time. They were very friendly and proactive about getting in touch to understand our cat Missy’s routine and were even able to visit before our trip which made leaving for holiday much more relaxing. They sent us regular updates and very thoughtfully left our home spotlessly clean and with a freshly made bed and a welcome back note. Thank you Leslie and Miles and hope we meet again!

Tatsiana is AMAZING! She cares for my fur babies as though they were her own. And, they have adopted her as their own. I never have a worry when she's with them. She is so responsible and caring that it provides great piece of mind while I'm traveling.

Lauren and Gui were the perfect sitters for us. They are sweet, kind and a pleasure to meet. They watched over Archer with great affection and responsibility. This was our first experience with zeewoi and it couldn’t have gone any better. They arrived the night before the sit which gave us a chance to enjoy a beautiful dinner together and get to know each other, and go over details and Archer’s needs. We had a good communication during the sit, with updates and photos. It really was a pleasure to spend the evening with them and we’re grateful they were so caring towards Archer. With any luck we’ll get a chance to have them back in the future!

Stephanie was absolutely amazing! Her communication, care and commitment are unsurpassed. She was prompt, texted us updates and photos throughout the week and left our home immaculate (which is no easy task during shedding season and rainy New England days), she even washed her linens before she left! She took amazing care of our fur babies, was diligently committed to their routines and feeding schedules and walked them daily (even in the rain)! Stephanie took genuine interest in our dogs right from the moment they met...she has a gentle approach and big love for animals and it shows. Our pack loved her! Thank you, Stephanie, we hope we can have you back in Newport again, soon! :) This was also our first use of a zeewoi -- previously we paid family and friends for less than satisfactory dog/home care. We are beyond grateful to have found this great service! (We think we're a little spoiled "right out of the gate" with such a great match (Stephanie) first time around.) We are comfortably looking forward to more travel this year because of this initial experience!

Dawn was the kind of sitter that you dream of having! My two kitties loved her, she sent pictures of them daily, and she was just thoughtful and awesome all around. I would love to have her come back anytime and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for piece of mind about your pets and home while you're gone!

It was a delight to have Patty house sit for me and el-doggo Guy Noir. She asked the right questions, kept in touch throughout her stay and left the house neat and clean. It was a worry free experience.

Lacey and Jay were such an amazing house sitters and pet care takers to my 10 year old cat, Bane. I cannot recommend them enough for future house-sits, they were supremely responsible, understanding to my house's quirks, responsive and gave great updates, thoughtful, organized, and very clean! I am so grateful to both Lacey and Jay for allowing my trip to Scotland to be as fun as possible, as I didn't worry about a thing with them at the helm back home. Many thanks to you both!

Sharon was a great house sitter. She was able to sit last minute and made sure the kitties were socialized and well fed. The home was clean and well taken care of.

We can't praise Jamie enough and have no hesitation in recommending her as a sitter. She came to us in England from the US at a day's notice when the previously confirmed sitter let us down a day and a half before we left for the Antarctic. Jamie kept us fully and creatively up to date with photos, messages, and news, and became a valued member of our neighbourhood in no time. Our neighbours miss her! All the animals warmed to her instantly - including our anxious rescue greyhound; we found the animals and the house in fabulous condition on our return. She even prepared a wonderful homecooked meal ready for us! Jamie was fully flexible about all arrangements and patient with our random requests. We only wish we could have spent more time with her her ourselves as we have made a marvellous new friend.

Jenny, was friendly, kind and sent pictures, asked questions and cared for our puppy. Clear and good communication and quite tidy.
