This for us was a 5 star house-sit. Millie the beautiful affectionate easygoing cat and Will and Sandra’s lovely comfy home and garden made for a really enjoyable 10 week stay. We felt instantly at home in this gorgeous house and Millie, our favourite cat ever, was an absolute pleasure to look after. The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly with an excellent public transport service nearby. We would love to come back again.
Katrina and Bill were very friendly and welcoming, and cooked us a lovely meal on our arrival. Katrina provided a comprehensive welcome guide which was very clear and helpful. Ilex and Finch are lovely dogs and and it was a pleasure to look after them. There are good walks from the back gate of their house which was very convenient and enjoyable and Katrina took us on a walk to familiarize us before she left. The house is a beautiful old house with exposed beams and a log fire. We can recommend this sit.
What an amazing cat sit! I loved my time here in Rotterdam, looking after both mona and paloma was really enjoyable they are lovely cats both of them! Me and Ely got on really well and she kindly let me stay for one night after as well!! 5****** !! Gemma
Linda & Steve are super friendly & the house is as clean as I've ever seen (they typically rent it as an Airbnb)! If you've cared for farm animals before, you know there's a fair amount of poop to shovel, rake, scrape, etc. But an equal amount of cuddles, laughs & cute moments to match! Helpful things to bring: work boots, old clothes, work gloves & a hat (so all the hay doesn't land in your hair). End your nights with a hot tub soak overlooking the sunset!
This was such an enjoyable dog sit :) Koda and Olive are a delight- both such characters- very different, and equally lovable! I thoroughly enjoyed their company, whether it was going for long ambling “sniff” walks, or watching Netflix together on the sofa on a rainy night. They are very personable, and sweet, and you can tell they are well loved. Susan left an excellent welcome guide- much appreciated! - and made me feel welcome. Her home is really beautiful - full of light, and space while also being very comfortable to relax in. I loved spending time in the kitchen, looking out over the garden while the pups watched me cook. Lovely.
We thoroughly enjoyed this sit, and are very pleased to have met Trish and John. Mabel and Betty are delightful little dogs, and we so enjoyed their company. Betty is a gentle little ball of fun, and Mabel so loving, and they're as easy to care for as they are to be around. Our kids absolutely loved playing with them, and we're all hoping to see them again next year. Trish and John's place is stunning - fabulous (and enormous!) garden, beautiful big comfortable house with lots of space to relax or play (best and biggest playroom ever, filled with toys! And everything from tennis to snooker on offer), and lovely river walks on the doorstep. They very kindly left us gifts of wine and a whole box of freshly picked vegetables from the farm (all much appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed, thank you!). We only had a week, and found so much to do in the house and grounds that we didn't make it further than nearby Ely! We took Mabel and Betty with us to Ely, and they were really well-behaved (and adored!). All those we met were so friendly and kind, from Trish and John to the very helpful Louise from their team, and we'd be thrilled to return. Highly recommend.
