Peter and Jo did everything possible to ensure we were fully briefed before they left, which made it really easy to look after their home and especially Lola. Their home was comfortable, warm and had everything we needed. Lola was an absolute delight to take care of and we so loved her temperament and nature. We would definitely consider another house sit with you guys and we wish you all the best for the future.
We spent a wonderful long weekend in Karen and Kevin's beautiful home and were made to feel very welcome upon our arrival. They are an entertaining couple and the evening before they left was extremely enjoyable. We were greeted enthusiastically by Barney and Milo and we loved spending time with them. This was easy as the weather was lovely meaning we could spend a great deal of time in the pretty garden. The dogs are so affectionate and a joy to be with. Communication was prompt at all times and we thoroughly recommend this sitting.
We hated leaving! Michaela's crew of Ziggy, Wolfie and Obi were delightful! So well behaved, great personalities and just fun to be around. We had many sessions of playing ball in the backyard with Wolfie the kitty watching our every move. She is really part of the gang and loves to be around Ziggy and Obi. Ziggy is the senior member of the pack and just a sweetheart. Obi is a goofball that will steal your heart. I can't say enough about these 3. Michaela was an excellent host. Her directions were clear and thorough. Her home is cozy, clean and beautiful. We were provided with a wonderful guest suite. We had plenty of closet place for all our stuff (very much appreciated) and room in the fridge for groceries. The neighborhood is very safe and is convenient to towns in both directions. We loved our sit at Michaela's and highly recommend it to those looking for a pet sit in the area. You won't be dissapointed!
I sat for Gillian and Amanda and Georgie for two weeks in July 2022. Whether you are a Londoner or tourist, their home is located in the perfect area for transit access and it is very easy to catch a bus or tube within a couple of blocks of their home. With a pharmacy on one corner, a diner on the other and a vet clinic across the street, anything you could possibly need is readily available. Georgie is an affectionate and appreciative kitty who is a dream to pet sit. She has her own access to the outdoors and will come and go as she desires. She enjoys her meals twice a day and spends the majority of her time asleep in the garden. Gillian and Amanda are wonderful hosts who are gracious with their hospitality and willing to problem solve with you should anything arise expectedly. I truly appreciated them and their home. Their home is a gem in the middle of the city. In a relatively quiet area, it offers a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms plus a sofa bed, and a wonderful back yard garden where you can sit and read and enjoy your breakfast. I have no reservations in recommending this housesitting opportunity to anyone. Shawna
