We arrived the evening before our scheduled sit date to make the transition / introduction for Murphy easier. Melissa welcomed us and immediately made us feel at home. Melissa provided clear instructions specific to the house and Murphy’s care. Communication throughout the sit was prompt and courteous. The home’s location is charming with a village vibe and there is a small coastal beach within walking distance. We enjoyed, the amazing views, the sound of crashing waves, the wildlife, and the quietness. Murphy was a pleasure to sit for and we found him to be puppyish, gentle and smart. We followed thru on the positive reinforcement and redirection training as instructed by Melissa. Murphy responded well to lots of praise, toys, and various treats. We walked Murphy at different times throughout the day, both short and long local walks, to keep him relaxed and happy. Each day we fell more in love with Murphy. Murphy was easy to kennel for bedtime or when we left the home and he was happy to hang out with us when we relaxed at the house. We enjoyed time exploring the area via bicycle, hiking and walking. The only thing I would do differently is to bring my waterproof boots for longer early morning walks through the dew-covered fields with Murphy! A most wonderful way to begin the day! I highly recommend this sit!
We looked after Cujo and Purrcules in April 2022. They are a delight, and easy, to look after. Cujo loves his walks, games, and cuddles. Purrcules is a quiet cat and just comes and goes as he pleases. Melanie made us welcome, shared all the necessary information for minding their house, the routines for minding Cujo and Purrcules. Melanie and her family have a nice house, in a good location, with decks on which to relax. We enjoyed every minute of this housesit. Thank you, Melanie.
We LOVED our stay at Symon and Pamela’s with the beautiful Baxter, Morgan and Tibbs. The house was so homely and had every amenity we could possibly need. The boys are all super loving and made us feel right at home. Symon and Pamela are fantastic people, very welcoming and a pleasure to sit for. We would spend every weekend here if we could and have already booked to sit again! Cannot recommend them, their home and their gorgeous boys enough!
I had an amazing experience housesitting at James' place with the adorable cat, Cho. James was an lovely host who was super friendly and attentive to my needs during my stay. Even tough he was hospitalized and was not in the best shape he still asked if I need anything. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Cho, who was an absolute delight to be around. The location of the home was also fantastic, situated in one of the best areas in LA. I am grateful for the opportunity to have stayed at James' home and enjoyed the space and the area. I would highly recommend this housesitting experience to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in LA. I would definitely come back for another visit in the future if possible.
Malorie and Raj were a pleasure to meet with the night prior to the sit, very accommodating and thorough with the walk through and instructions. Louie was awesome, such a fun, loving dog who was easy to walk, loves to play and chase a ball. I would definitely do this sit again and highly recommend this sit.
