We had a wonderful time at Blaengors. Beautifully converted farmhouse, set in a peaceful surrounding of fields and some lovely cottages abound. We appreciated a very welcome evening meal with Jude and Hugh; and been well informed and showed around about daily routines for Woody and Buzz (the cats), the poultry (9 hens and 1 cock), and 8 over-enthusiastic geese. 2 weeks went by rapidly, too quick nearly. But we've fully enjoyed the stillness of the site, the marvellous weather and all walks in the area and along the coast. Thank you very much for inviting us to this house sit. Ewan and Melanie
I enjoyed my stay. The cats Pearl and Olive are absolute sweethearts and we really bonded during my two week stay. Very close to the train station. Nada made it very easy for me with an automatic feeder and a self cleaning litter tray. My main responsibilities were topping their feeds once daily in a seperate bowl and giving the cats love and affection which I was very happy to do!
Holly and Eric were wonderful hosts and so welcoming. They made sure I was well-equipped to care for their animal family while they were away. I had the opportunity to be there a day ahead of time and walk through the daily care routines with them for all the animals. As a sitter if you have the opportunity to arrive ahead of time and do this, I would highly recommend it as it was really helpful to learn the routines this way. Holly and Eric have also put together a wonderful notebook with care instructions for each of the animals and that was great to have to refer back to as I needed to during the sit. I really appreciated their organization which helped make learning the routines and caring for all the animals a smoother process. Even with traveling internationally, they were quick to respond to any questions I had while they were away. The love they have for their animals is so evident. The animals are all very loving and sweet and I really enjoyed being around them. Lila and Chi love walks and rides in the car and they were so well-behaved. We had a great time going out the dog beach at Avila Beach a few times. Lucy and Willow, the cats, are playful and love to cuddle. It was fun interact with Bella, the horse, and to be greeted by her each morning when I went out to feed her, as well as the goats, and chickens too. This was the first time I’ve cared for a horse, goats, and chickens, but Holly and Eric made it easy to do and I caught onto the routine quickly. Thank you Holly and Eric for the opportunity to care for your beloved home and animal family! I highly recommend this sit to sitters looking to spend some time in a beautiful place surrounded by loving animals. It’s truly a unique and special place.

Licky is beyond adorable! She definitely likes company and gets used to new people quickly. The flat has everything you need and the owners were kind enough to leave fresh bread for me upon my arrival. The sun beds on the balcony have the perfect view over the communal garden. Communication was smooth. I would love to come again someday!
This family is amazing! Yuko is very nice, kind & caring person. She welcome me very nice, we have time to talk and know each other little bit. She show me the building and the important things of the house and the kittens. Ako and Lolo are just adorable. Ako is the sweetest cat I ever take care of, she communicate so well and she is always asking for cuddles and food. Lolo is shy, but sweet sometimes and is the most playful cat. The flat is small but super clean and has everything you need. It was great for me. There is a supermarket very near and transports so near. I loved so much this sitting, my experience was amazing, so thanks to Yuko, that trusted me to be Ako and Lolo sitter. Actually I would do it again. Thanks again! Miss the girls!!!
