Fidji and Colin (and their children) were our first pet-sitters 3 years ago and we have been fortunate to have them back every summer since. For almost 3 weeks this summer, besides looking after our two cats and chickens, they also cared for our new dog Mya – a young and very energetic rescued mongrel from Romania. As always, they kept in touch with us very regularly, sending us updates and photos. They took very good care of all our pets, for example making sure Mya took her medicine and got her two walks a day, come rain or shine, and going shopping to re-stock on cat food. Their boys, James and Ryan, who clearly love animals, are always very attentive to our cats’ very different personalities. It was lovely to also see how much Mya had bonded with everyone and especially Lara, their two year-old daughter. The 2 of them formed a very special, close relationship and Fidji and Colin sent us a few video clips of them playing together which were absolutely adorable. Fidji and Colin always leave our home in an immaculate state, as an example, coming home this time, I had the lovely surprise of finding that Fidji had cleaned and organized my kitchen cabinets, even organising the larder which was in complete chaos before! As usual we came home (after a very long flight) to find the fridge was well-stocked with essentials, fruit and vegetables from the garden were picked and frozen, the plants in the greenhouse and pots, vegetables etc in the garden had all been kept watered and a selection of delicious home-baked treats had been prepared to welcome us back and make the day a little more stress-free. This year Fidji made some caramelized apples, raspberry muffins and a pear tarte Tatin. All absolutely delicious. She is an amazing cook! I would not hesitate in recommending Fidji, Colin and their children as pet-sitters, I really can't recommend them highly enough.
Shakura is an excellent sitter. I would have no hesitation having her here again!
Betsy was a wonderful pet sitter. She looked after our pups like they were her own! Our girl Millie lived her best life with Betsy as she was able to go on all the outings. And our dear old man Joey was loved on in the comfort of his home. I would definitely get Betsy back!

Our dog has been going to Basil's for 2 years now and she absolutely loves it! We wanted to make sure she was in a comfortable and loving home environment as she can be nervous, and Basil's ticked all the boxes. Natalia cares for each dog as if they were her own and our furbaby is always super excited to get to daycare in the morning, and suitably worn out in the evening!
Mylo goes to Natalia for his holidays when we go on ours. The minute the door is opened he is through it!. We have used Basil’s boarding services quite a few times now and love the regular updates and pictures we get. Natalia understands each dog has its different needs and ensures their time at her house is as comfortable and stress free as possible. If they want the couch, they can have the couch. 🐾 I cannot recommend her enough and am never worried about leaving my ‘third child’, just maybe a little guilty……🐾
Natalia and Basil are great! Our dog attended weekly daycare for two and a half years, and he loved it. Early drop off and late pick up hours made the schedule really easy with working hours. Natalia works hard to ensure dogs are a good fit together and adapts to the needs of individual dogs. The small group and home environment means every dogs gets special attention.
Fantastic care for my nervous dog! I highly recommend Basil’s Doggie Daycare to anyone looking for daycare and boarding- I use both of these services. Natalia is so knowledgeable and excellent with dogs, I know my dog will always receive the best care with her. She has so much fun and gets lots of attention. Last year my dog spent over a week boarding here while I was away, she came home happy and relaxed. I received daily updates, photos and videos of all the fun and had no concerns or worries at all. I have a booked a further boarding stay.
Natalia is not only knowledgeable and professional but has a true affinity with the dogs in her care. Tilly is happy and contented when she has a holiday with Natalia and we are happy and contented to go away leaving her in safe loving hands.
Fantastic experience of day and overnight home boarding care for our lively sprocker spaniel ‘Woody’. Woody has stayed with Natalia and Basil every year for the last 5 years (except during Covid) for our annual 2 week holiday and has also stayed numerous weeks, weekends or odd days. He is always very well looked after, well-walked and Natalia even cooked dog biscuits for him during his stay on his Birthday. Really appreciate all the personal photos and videos Natalia sends during his stay with reassurance that he is having a great stay! Highly recommend
Our doggie stayed for a few nights and when we picked her up she did not want to come home she was so happy. Very well looked after. Will be using basils again in the future for over night stays and weekly walks
My dog Inca loves Natalia very much, rushes into her place every time. She takes good care of Inca and send us pictures and video of cute moments of Inca and let us know how's Inca doing that day, give advices when needed.
Our 2 year old saluki cross has just come back from a 3 week holiday with Natalia and we couldn’t be happier with the level of care and love that Natalia provides! We’ve used Natalia for random daycare and the odd weekend before this and every time Natalia keeps us up to date with how the stay is going. We could not recommend Vicky and Paul enough, there is no one else we would trust to look after our Italian Greyhound. Vicky treats our iggy with the same love, care and attention we would at home. Her support, advice and help has been greatly appreciated. Looking after our dog from a very excited puppy to a now much calmer (albeit particular!) 4 year old! They’ve always been there for us when we needed them and gone above and beyond for our dog who we miss terribly when she isn’t with us, but we know she is safe and in a home away from home with a good routine.

I chose Nikki as she offered £5 drop in pet visits which is perfect for people who have timid cats that won't play with just anyone. she's very friendly and did exactly what was needed and was available on the phone while I was away. Great knowing they are being looked after and put my mind at ease. she even hoovered up around the litter trays before I got back. I would definitely recommend nikki and will use her again when I go away.
I chose Olive's Walks due to the structured walks and the emphasis on training for my lovely Romanian rescue dog. The team have been great with communication from the start, with a message of the hour collection time the night before. Olive's Walks have been consistent with their approach to dog walking and training. My dog has been with the team for over 9 months and especially enjoys his walks with Rosie! My dog is very much a homebody but very happily trots out and into the van (which is a big thing for him!). Previously wary of men, my dog got on great with George on his first visit, a great testimony that they have the best people! I know he's safe and happy when he goes for his adventures! We have a very lively 14 month old flat coated retriever and she has worked with Rosie and the olive walks team for the past 6 months . After being with Olives walks for a few months now, I can’t ever see us going back! George goes above and beyond for our Doberman. He has gone from anxious and reactive to calm (as calm as a Doberman can be) and friendly. The introduction to other big dogs was done in an amazing manner and we finally have a shattered pup in the evenings! Highly recommend to those in the area.
Cannot recommend Olives Walks, specifically George enough :) He is courteous, reliable and so well natured it is no surprise that the dogs absolutely adore him. He takes care of our golden retriever who comes back from every walk absolutely shattered but happier than you can imagine. We have a very sweet, loving, but excitable dobermann puppy and we were struggling with her reactivity because she was very nervous having been at a daycare that was increasing her anxiety. We started our search for a dog walking company and were pulling our hair out trying to find someone that would take a young, large breed puppy and that we trusted to properly take care of her. We finally came across olives walks when we reached out to a local Facebook page. Olives walks have helped her build confidence and she's showing great improvements already. She's currently doing the one to one's until she's ready to join the other dogs which gives me reassurance that when she is ready, they'll know her properly and she'll get along well with the other dogs. We were lucky Olives walks were suggested to us, as we found no one else that offered the services they do and they are incredibly professional whilst offering amazing customer service. Special shout out to George! He turns up to collect her she can't get out the door quick enough and they already have a fantastic bond.

I have recently taken part in Vicki’s shadowing programme. To better develop my experience, knowledge and understanding so I can best serve my clients. The day was full of experience, and knowledge. Vicki was extremely helpful. Offering a great perspective on things as well as invaluable advice. She led a great, jam packed day which allowed me to get hands on experience walking groups of dogs. To see the behind the scenes of what goes into Vicki’s business was truly inspiring and to see how well all the dogs in her care are with her and how far they’ve come within their individual journeys has been a privilege. I am so grateful to have found Olives Walks. My lab is reactive and when I changed jobs I needed to go back into the office a little more I was nervous about finding some additional help for her. Talking to Vicki initially quickly reassured me of their approach and since then meeting George and seeing the time and care he has taken over getting to know and understand Rebel and how much she loves being out with him has been awesome. The gradual introduction into the pack was perfect for her and I loved seeing all the updates. Olive’s Walks are a fantastic company! They are very professional, reliable and caring, keeping me up to date on training progress and walks. As a family we could not take our dog out on the lead due to his strength and pulling which was very limiting for us and him! We can now take him out on the lead and this has made a huge difference which I could never have believed could happen before working with Olive’s Walks. Our two guinea pig have always come to piggie paradise at hug a bunny hotel. The care and attention Karen gives them is 5 star and for me to know that they are being cared and looked after when we go away. I wouldn't put my piggies anywhere else I love the fact Karen send pictures and updates if how our guinea pigs are . They are slightly pampered piggies and Karen is happy to cater to their every whim .
We LOVE piggie paradise! It’s like a home from home for our piggies and Karen is so accommodating. She was amazing when we had to explain the daily medication needed for one of our piggies and I felt confident that I was leaving him in great hands. Our piggies always go to Piggy Paradise at Hug a Bunny Hotel whenever we’re away. They’re always so well cared for and it’s such a weight off our minds knowing they’re looked after and receiving all the fuss that they’re accustomed to.
I can't explain the peace of mind that comes from my piggies staying here. I know they are in excellent hands I don't need to worry about them at all. My boys come back clean, fed and happy.

Stacey started walking our pup from 12 weeks. She was so good at coming in for puppy play time when she was too small to walk. Now she takes her out for long walks , and with other dog friends too. Our pooch loves Stacey. We also love her! She is super good at communication and bookings, always accommodating. She really cares about our training style and has helped us with all the puppy stages from teething to recall enforcing. We have a highly active working breed and Stacey handles her very well.
I've been relying on Stacey for years, and she's fantastic. When our dog was a pup she would take him for short walks and spend the rest of the time playing with him. He's now nearly 3 year's old and goes for an hour walk with Stacey every few days. She's introduced him to new dog friends and he is always excited to see her. She's very accommodating and is great at communicating and responding. I feel very confident that Stacey is always alert to the dog's well-being and I'm so glad we found her!
