Delightful experience with Heather and Chris in their comfortable home and in the company of their beautiful elegant cat, Vega. Heather has thought of everything: detailed instructions, using kitchen appliances and had a cozy bathrobe in the guest bath. The light here is amazing. The back yard is a beautifully landscaped. And Vega is a love. Standoffish at first. Well... you know cats. She came around quickly and asked for food, pets, attention. Even sat on my lap to watch a movie. I was able to rest, relax have a cat for company during my few days here. Happy to have been invited to be this sitter!
What an amazing modern home, set up in a hillside with views of the lake. Sheri and Kevin were a joy to deal with before the sit and an absolute pleasure to meet during the sit. Mai and Emma are such great pups. Can’t say enough good about this opportunity, but if you get a chance to sit here, take it!
Neola and Nev welcomed me into their home with freshly baked pizza from their pizza oven and a glass of wine. They are both very laid back and created a lifestyle and environment which matches it, with a few perks! Cormac the Cat and two Piggies seemed to have adopted this laidback mentality so the stay was really pleasant and enjoyable. Simple feeding regimes with fun and friendly interactions, what's not to love about a cat rolling over insisting on belly scrubs? You are in the countryside, which comes with great views and walks literally on the doorstep but the house is kitted out with some cool tech which made the stay even more comfortable. With use of their office so I could work, a large projector for downtime movie night, and access to their gym with wall-to-wall mirrors and a Peleton account. All the basics were covered of course, super fast wi-fi, strong hot shower and fresh bedding and towels with spares provided. It was a perfect retreat with very nice company and barely any demands. Neola and Nev were great with communication, answered every question I had or might have had, and made sure of it that I was comfortable. Do not hesitate to apply for a sit at this unique place, you won't regret it, and you'll probably make friends for life!
Bev is a sweetheart who is a little shy at first. Once she warms up to you, she is full of purrs and chirps! Jen’s home is a peaceful, comfortable place in a quiet neighborhood and close to a greenway for daily walks! A car is helpful but the BART is a short walk away. Jen is communicative and responsive as an owner, both about Bev and things around the home. Would easily recommend folks hang with Bev when they get the chance!
We had an amazing time with Birdy, the sweetest Chihuahua we’ve met so far. Birdy is a highly intelligent, delicate and fun pup, as well as a truly affectionate one. She seemed to adore our cuddles as much as we did hers. With incredible awareness of her surroundings, it was a pleasure to observe her and learn a few things. John and Kristin are wonderful; warm, easygoing, organized and communicative. This was a last minute sit but they made us feel so comfortable and so much at home. We loved spending our days at theirs with Birdy. The house is spacious, serene, just beautiful. We felt so happy here that we had a hard time when it came to preparing for our departure. If home is where the heart is we definitely felt it here - a real sanctuary. We already miss Birdy and we know we will miss John and Kristin’s special home too. We highly recommend this sit and hope to get the opportunity to spend time with Birdy again one day. Thanks John and Kristin for your trust and collaboration, and thanks for choosing us!

Our dog has been going to Basil's for 2 years now and she absolutely loves it! We wanted to make sure she was in a comfortable and loving home environment as she can be nervous, and Basil's ticked all the boxes. Natalia cares for each dog as if they were her own and our furbaby is always super excited to get to daycare in the morning, and suitably worn out in the evening!
Mylo goes to Natalia for his holidays when we go on ours. The minute the door is opened he is through it!. We have used Basil’s boarding services quite a few times now and love the regular updates and pictures we get. Natalia understands each dog has its different needs and ensures their time at her house is as comfortable and stress free as possible. If they want the couch, they can have the couch. 🐾 I cannot recommend her enough and am never worried about leaving my ‘third child’, just maybe a little guilty……🐾
Natalia and Basil are great! Our dog attended weekly daycare for two and a half years, and he loved it. Early drop off and late pick up hours made the schedule really easy with working hours. Natalia works hard to ensure dogs are a good fit together and adapts to the needs of individual dogs. The small group and home environment means every dogs gets special attention.
Fantastic care for my nervous dog! I highly recommend Basil’s Doggie Daycare to anyone looking for daycare and boarding- I use both of these services. Natalia is so knowledgeable and excellent with dogs, I know my dog will always receive the best care with her. She has so much fun and gets lots of attention. Last year my dog spent over a week boarding here while I was away, she came home happy and relaxed. I received daily updates, photos and videos of all the fun and had no concerns or worries at all. I have a booked a further boarding stay.

Fantastic experience of day and overnight home boarding care for our lively sprocker spaniel ‘Woody’. Woody has stayed with Natalia and Basil every year for the last 5 years (except during Covid) for our annual 2 week holiday and has also stayed numerous weeks, weekends or odd days. He is always very well looked after, well-walked and Natalia even cooked dog biscuits for him during his stay on his Birthday. Really appreciate all the personal photos and videos Natalia sends during his stay with reassurance that he is having a great stay! Highly recommend
Our doggie stayed for a few nights and when we picked her up she did not want to come home she was so happy. Very well looked after. Will be using basils again in the future for over night stays and weekly walks
My dog Inca loves Natalia very much, rushes into her place every time. She takes good care of Inca and send us pictures and video of cute moments of Inca and let us know how's Inca doing that day, give advices when needed.
Our 2 year old saluki cross has just come back from a 3 week holiday with Natalia and we couldn’t be happier with the level of care and love that Natalia provides! Natalia is so knowledgeable and professional, and clearly loves all the dogs in her care. We’ve used Natalia for random daycare and the odd weekend before this and every time Natalia keeps us up to date with how the stay is going. As soon as we pull into the road Luna recognises where she is and is excited to get inside and see Natalia.
Grace was so kind and helpful, our cats adored her. Getting the updates and photos was amazing it made us feel confident that our cats were well and happy.

We could not recommend Vicky and Paul enough, there is no one else we would trust to look after our Italian Greyhound. Vicky treats our iggy with the same love, care and attention we would at home. Her support, advice and help has been greatly appreciated. Looking after our dog from a very excited puppy to a now much calmer (albeit particular!) 4 year old! They’ve always been there for us when we needed them and gone above and beyond for our dog who we miss terribly when she isn’t with us, but we know she is safe and in a home away from home with a good routine.

I chose Nikki as she offered £5 drop in pet visits which is perfect for people who have timid cats that won't play with just anyone. she's very friendly and did exactly what was needed and was available on the phone while I was away. Great knowing they are being looked after and put my mind at ease. she even hoovered up around the litter trays before I got back. I would definitely recommend nikki and will use her again when I go away.
I chose Olive's Walks due to the structured walks and the emphasis on training for my lovely Romanian rescue dog. The team have been great with communication from the start, with a message of the hour collection time the night before. Olive's Walks have been consistent with their approach to dog walking and training. My dog has been with the team for over 9 months and especially enjoys his walks with Rosie! My dog is very much a homebody but very happily trots out and into the van (which is a big thing for him!). Previously wary of men, my dog got on great with George on his first visit, a great testimony that they have the best people! I know he's safe and happy when he goes for his adventures! We have a very lively 14 month old flat coated retriever and she has worked with Rosie and the olive walks team for the past 6 months . After being with Olives walks for a few months now, I can’t ever see us going back! George goes above and beyond for our Doberman. He has gone from anxious and reactive to calm (as calm as a Doberman can be) and friendly. The introduction to other big dogs was done in an amazing manner and we finally have a shattered pup in the evenings! Highly recommend to those in the area.
Cannot recommend Olives Walks, specifically George enough :) He is courteous, reliable and so well natured it is no surprise that the dogs absolutely adore him. He takes care of our golden retriever who comes back from every walk absolutely shattered but happier than you can imagine. He takes Barney to a variety of locations and always keeps us updated with amusing videos of his adventures along the way! We have a very sweet, loving, but excitable dobermann puppy and we were struggling with her reactivity because she was very nervous having been at a daycare that was increasing her anxiety. We started our search for a dog walking company and were pulling our hair out trying to find someone that would take a young, large breed puppy and that we trusted to properly take care of her. We finally came across olives walks when we reached out to a local Facebook page. Olives walks have helped her build confidence and she's showing great improvements already. She's currently doing the one to one's until she's ready to join the other dogs which gives me reassurance that when she is ready, they'll know her properly and she'll get along well with the other dogs. We were lucky Olives walks were suggested to us, as we found no one else that offered the services they do and they are incredibly professional whilst offering amazing customer service. Special shout out to George! He turns up to collect her she can't get out the door quick enough and they already have a fantastic bond.

I have recently taken part in Vicki’s shadowing programme. To better develop my experience, knowledge and understanding so I can best serve my clients. The day was full of experience, and knowledge. Vicki was extremely helpful. Offering a great perspective on things as well as invaluable advice. She led a great, jam packed day which allowed me to get hands on experience walking groups of dogs. To see the behind the scenes of what goes into Vicki’s business was truly inspiring and to see how well all the dogs in her care are with her and how far they’ve come within their individual journeys has been a privilege. I am so grateful to have found Olives Walks. My lab is reactive and when I changed jobs I needed to go back into the office a little more I was nervous about finding some additional help for her. Talking to Vicki initially quickly reassured me of their approach and since then meeting George and seeing the time and care he has taken over getting to know and understand Rebel and how much she loves being out with him has been awesome. The gradual introduction into the pack was perfect for her and I loved seeing all the updates. Olive’s Walks are a fantastic company! They are very professional, reliable and caring, keeping me up to date on training progress and walks. As a family we could not take our dog out on the lead due to his strength and pulling which was very limiting for us and him! We can now take him out on the lead and this has made a huge difference which I could never have believed could happen before working with Olive’s Walks. He continues to improve in his training goals and has fun on his group walks. I highly recommend Olive’s Walks.
Our two guinea pig have always come to piggie paradise at hug a bunny hotel. The care and attention Karen gives them is 5 star and for me to know that they are being cared and looked after when we go away. I wouldn't put my piggies anywhere else I love the fact Karen send pictures and updates if how our guinea pigs are . They are slightly pampered piggies and Karen is happy to cater to their every whim .
We LOVE piggie paradise! It’s like a home from home for our piggies and Karen is so accommodating. She was amazing when we had to explain the daily medication needed for one of our piggies and I felt confident that I was leaving him in great hands. Karen loves all of the piggies like her own and she makes everything so nice for them. A wonderful set up! Keep up the great work!

Our piggies always go to Piggy Paradise at Hug a Bunny Hotel whenever we’re away. They’re always so well cared for and it’s such a weight off our minds knowing they’re looked after and receiving all the fuss that they’re accustomed to.

Stacey started walking our pup from 12 weeks. She was so good at coming in for puppy play time when she was too small to walk. Now she takes her out for long walks , and with other dog friends too. Our pooch loves Stacey. We also love her! She is super good at communication and bookings, always accommodating. She really cares about our training style and has helped us with all the puppy stages from teething to recall enforcing. We have a highly active working breed and Stacey handles her very well.
I've been relying on Stacey for years, and she's fantastic. When our dog was a pup she would take him for short walks and spend the rest of the time playing with him. He's now nearly 3 year's old and goes for an hour walk with Stacey every few days. She's introduced him to new dog friends and he is always excited to see her. She's very accommodating and is great at communicating and responding. I feel very confident that Stacey is always alert to the dog's well-being and I'm so glad we found her!
