Karl & Aura went above and beyond to ensure my home and doggy Chena were in the absolute best hands while I was away for two months. They are incredibly attentive, caring and responsible. For example, they kept me informed about her nails splitting and possibly needing a trim then took the initiative to take her to the vet to remedy. They also included Chena in their Christmas gift opening and sent me a video as an update. Taking care of a home in the harsh winters of Fairbanks (think -40 for two weeks at a time) its absolutely essential to have vigilant and knowledgeable housesitters. Karl was always checking the furnace, thermostat and running hot water in spaces not used often. He was proactive and self-reliant for all issues that arrived. I highly recommend Karl & Aura for your pet and homecare. They put you at ease so you can enjoy your time away.
My housesit in Wroxton for Susan and Neil exceeded all my expectations and was absolutely gorgeous! Their beautiful house and wonderful garden (fully enclosed, not to be overlooked by neighbours) were my daily delight. The conservatory with direct connection to the garden was my favorite place for dining and relaxing on the sofa with Rocky. My bedroom was cosy and comfortable and I shared the bed with Rocky. (also delightful!) Wroxton is such a picturesque village (similar to Cotswolds villages) with friendly neighbors in a safe surrounding. I used public transport (direct route Banbury - Stratford on Avon, line 76). There are no shops in the village, but Banbury is only 10 minutes by bus. House owner information (manual) as well as communication before and during my sit with Susan and Neil were brilliant. As to Rocky: He is so easy to handle, incredibly well-behaved, very keen on cuddling. On the one hand he is energetic (likes his walks), on the other hand relaxed at home. His nature is very balanced. He is very attentive concerning noises around house and garden, barked sometimes (never too much), what made me feel safe! When walking he was very good off-lead. He is so obedient and has a very good recall and he is a reliable trail finder: a real companion in the fields and woods. In the end, it was very hard for me to bid him farewell. I would love to look after him again and can highly recommend the housesit to everybody.
Ryan and Cassie are lovely! Very accommodating, laid back and helpful. I fell in love with their three gorgeous dogs. They each have their own personalities, and they’re all big softies. The house is beautiful and there are some great hikes nearby. Not to mention the entire Phoenix area to explore. I highly recommend this sit!
We stayed at Julie's house for 2 weeks and it was one of the best sittings ever. The chickens and the rooster (PJ) were so well-behaved and they loved to be spoiled with rolled oats and cuddles. So many eggs every day,🥚🐣😍 The garden and plants are very low-maintenance and you can do it enjoying the birds singing and the stunning view of the creek. We saw many wildlife around the house and the house itself has everything you need to have a perfect stay. Julie, Emerick, and their daughters were incredible, so nice and generous, despite some issues that we had during the sit they took some time to help us to solve them during their travel, Thanks one more time guys. We love the books and toys, it feels like home. My family and I couldn't recommend better
This was our first experience and what an amazing start! The house was cozy and clean in nice location, close to some shop and with lovely town Center nearby. Laura was very friendly and explained all the details, we didn’t get to meet Liam in person but both pets parents were very responsive to any questions we had.And finally the pets ! They truly stolen our hearts, Tigs is very adventurous and clever , Athena is such a sweet girl and loves cuddles and Mac , well Mac is an incredible dog . If we could we would adopt him on the spot . I could write endlessly about Mac but let’s just say that when I gave him a kiss for goodbye and closedown the doors , I felt were emotional 🥹 We hope to see all of them again and if you think of looking after them , don’t hesitate. The trio is truly fabulous ! 🥰
I had a great time taking care of BC and Ellie. They are sweet cats. BC is a love bug, and I even got some love from Ellie, who is very shy. Emily has a lovely home, very clean and comfortable in a great location. I would definitely recommend this sit.
This was a total dream sit! Megan and I hit it off immediately and it felt like I was traveling to sit for a friend. She was very communicative and generous and left me a lot of goodies - including a garden full of fresh veggies. Her home had a lot of amenities that it made it hard to leave but my absolute fave part were the dogs. We spent the early morning and late evening walking around in the picturesque neighborhood; in between our walks, we spent our days lounging at the pool or atrium. While the doggie door made it easier for me to go out and sightsee, I rarely left their sight as I fell in love with them, especially Henry. I miss them and this dream home and hope I’ll get to sit again in the future!
