We were so lucky to have a beautiful location like Calp for our very first house sit. Lara and June warmly welcomed us and their lovely studio room we stayed in was like being in a resort. They explained everything fully to us for the house and the cats, which were so easy to care for. Douglas, Beau and Mr Fitz became more comfortable with us over the weeks so we had lots of company from them. There is so much to explore in the surrounding area of Calp that we were spoilt for choice of where to go each day. We would highly recommend taking the opportunity for this sit to anyone when it becomes available. Thanks again Lara and June.
This house sit was a bit different from other house sits. I must confess, to my shame, that I was not able to connect with my new roommate Micia on a deeper level. Nevertheless we had some funny talks and I was happy to see that she had a good appetite. Lorena and Joern are really lovely and welcoming people. Communication was really simple and they left me an outstanding welcome guide at the apartment. I would highly recommend a house sitting offering from them for its location, the quite area, easy to take care for roommate and to me personally a big plus was the ground floor basement where I was able to park my cargo easily. Thank you guys a millions times for opening your home to me and hopefully I can come back one day.🤗
Great stay and adorable cats! Colette was very welcoming and the flexible dates were helpful, too! I was lucky to also take care of Coco the kitten. Nip, Tuck and Coco were just as welcoming as Colette, and made me feel at home instantly. They loved my company, each in their individual way. Everything was very clear! Thanks, Colette! Would definitely recommend this sit.
Pet parents Britt and Ray are great communicators who made me comfortable with the sit. Their place is heaven on earth, with easy access to local businesses (restaurants, grocery, post office, gas, etc.). Pumpkin is happy, loving, food motivated, and excited to go for walks and take naps. He doesn't care much for being groomed - he took the brush from me every time 😆 He is smart and obedient (sit, lay down, wait, “shake” a paw, and easy). It would be best if you were comfortable giving commands or being the alpha due to his size. Overall, a great time and I loved the experience. I would gladly sit again!
This was a perfect sit from beginning to end! Stephani is awesome, such a kind a friendly person, very easy to communicate with and was super welcoming of us into her beautiful home. We miss all of these pets already, they were so fun to live with and a breeze to care for. Badger is a very smart boy who is so well behaved and sweet, he is great on walks, he strolls along peacefully with you (around a great neighborhood). Wasabi is the best cat, he is adorable, can be cuddly, and is no trouble at all. Coco is a very interactive guinea pig, will let you pet him right away and will greet you when you come to visit him by happily squeaking, it's fun to watch him go nuts for his veggies too! We would jump at the chance to come back any time. Highly recommended!
