A wonderful sit with a lovely fur family in an fantastic area. Ivy is truly an excursion dog and we enjoyed exploring this interesting area. The pet parents and their cute daughter gave us a warm welcome and what was truly exceptional and highly appreciated was the visit of their cleaning lady at our arrival. The house is very spacious and light flodded, but best of all is the "fairy" garden. With the cats you have to be a little patient, spend some time with them, but once they opened up it´s a pleasure to be and to play with them (except Bear, he´ll cuddle and welcome you from the beginning on). We will definetly go there again if we get an opportunity!
Taking care for Diesel was absolutely wonderful. He is very affectionate and always want to follow you. He sits with you on the couch and sleeps with you in bed. Diesel sleeps a lot during the day but is still healthy for his age. We enjoyed the time in the house from Yvonne and Garry. It's in a very quite area directly at the marina with some nice walks. They are also pretty nice. We met us before and had a great talk and they showed us around the house. The contact was also easy. We're happy to meet Diesel and his parents and can recommend the sit to everyone. Thank you
Cat and house sitting for Vanessa was a pleasure! Stevie the cat is incredibly sweet and Vanessa has a lovely home :) I met Vanessa prior to sitting, she showed me everything I needed to know very clearly and wrote great instructions in the welcome guide so settling in and caring for Stevie was easy. The first day or so I was slow and gentle with Stevie since she can be shy but she gets comfortable quickly and shows off her playful, funny and affectionate personality more and more as you get to know her, spending time with her was a treat. If you have a chance to meet Stevie and Vanessa I would definitely recommend it!
This is a wonderful sit with beautiful views of Sedona’s stunning landscape. Gary was very generous, assuring us to help ourselves and to make our selves at home. He was thorough in giving us helpful information about his dogs. These Goldens are pure love with great personalities. They will love you up and make you laugh then steal your heart. I recommend this sit. It was very enjoyable and we’d love to return someday.
Absolutely loved staying in this gorgeous house. Rosie and Piers were very welcoming. Truffle was such a character and Pepper relaxed and affectionate - they were very easy to look after. The area is lovely with a nice blend of pretty countryside, interesting villages, great cafes and pubs along with many local attractions. The house was very comfortable and the gardens beautiful. We were especially fortunate to be there during the asparagus season.
This is a lovely housesit in a beautiful home right on the Atlantic Ocean south of Boston. Bear and Tigger are very easy going and a delight to look after. We certainly enjoyed having Bear show us the neighborhood. Susan and Jamie are gracious hosts who provided all the information required to look after Bear and Tigger and their beautiful home. Rex In the City is absolutely fantastic. We needed occasional boarding and walking for our dog when we moved into the area, and were drawn to Fran by the great reviews. They're all true! We were feeling anxious (and guilty!) about leaving our dog Cali behind while traveling. Fran put us at ease with her professional and pleasant demeanor, and also by sharing photos and videos while we're away. Cali loves her completely. Highly recommend Fran. My Cockapoo Monty sits at the top of the stairs waiting for her to arrive each day and runs out without a backwards glance. He loves the walks, the swims and the fun. Fran is super helpful and flexible. Great day care, daily walks and overnight boarding. My dog is my most precious family and my best friend. I feel completely safe when he’s having fun with Fran.
I’ve been fortunate enough to know Fran and her team for the last 4 years and she’s been looking after my Boxer Disraeli throughout that time. Her ethos is all about caring for him as if he were her own and that’s what puts Fran’s approach above all the other dog care businesses in the area. Disraeli was visibly excited every time it was ready for pick up and just wanted to tell me all about it when he returned. He even got excited when we bumped into Fran and her kids in the street. We booked walks, daycare and one overnight stay and were always 100% confident that he would have a good time. Fran was flexible when required, covering short notice bookings and switching others when work required it. If you want your dog to be cared for, rather than kept, by a team, led by Fran, with an affinity for our special canine family, then I recommend Rex in the City.
I can definitely recommend Fran and Rex in the City. Fran has a wonderful way with dogs and my miniature schnauzer (who was very nervous of walkers after a bad experience) adores her and sits waiting at the door for her to arrive. Fran has always been totally flexible and will go out of her way to accommodate Coco for the day or overnight and she always comes back happy, relaxed and exhausted (with no bad habits!). A really great service and highly recommended.
We boarded our dog, Zoey, with Fran for over a week and could not have had a better experience. We felt confident that she was being well cared for and receiving plenty of love while were away on holiday. We received several photo and video updates and are very happy with the entire experience. I can highly recommend Fran and the team. They've been regularly taking out our Irish Terrier since he was a very excitable puppy (not that he's any less excitable now!). He clearly hugely enjoys going out with his friends in the pack and always comes back well worn out. It's great that in Fran and the team we have people we can trust, knowing that he'll be well looked-after on those days we can't take him out ourselves.
Rex in the City have been looking after our cocker spaniel, Humphrey, since he was a small pup. Fran provides a loving family environment for her charges and they get plenty of exercise and stimulation. A lovely destination for all things dogs in the heart of Parsons Green. Expect warm welcome, lovely team of groomers, led by Sacha the owner of Le Wag ( a groomer with love & skill herself ) I like visiting them to get treats for my dog bff.
If I was a dog, I would want to get groomed at Wag Works! My dog has been to a few different groomers and always comes away petrified, but following his experiences at Wag Works his tail is always wagging, he doesn't want to leave and his groom looks perfect! The environment is so calm and the staff are so friendly! I'd highly recommend.
WagWorks is doing such an amazing job with my nervous rescue dog, Nala. I was initially worried about how she'd adjust to life at daycare, but the team at WagWorks has been fantastic. They really took the time to understand Nala's needs right from the start, which gave me a good feeling about choosing them. From the trial days to now being a full-time member, the team has been patient and understanding with Nala, never pushing her beyond her comfort zone. Nala is slowly finding her foot in day care and seeing updates on how she cuddles up on one of the beds, asks for cuddles or engages in enrichment activities gives me a good and reassuring feeling leaving her with the team for a full day, knowing she is in good hands.
Love Wagworks for our mini labradoodle. He is always super excited to go, everyone knows him by name and he loves hanging out with his buddies there. The enrichment is really great and you get a sense of the caring each team member has for the dogs. Hours are also super convenient and the on-sige vet checks are great too!
I am so happy with WagWorks and would highly recommend, especially for owners who have slightly anxious dogs. We always get such a warm welcome and now my dog feels so settled there. The facilities are brilliant and it's so obvious how much the staff care about each individual dog.
We are so impressed with WagWorks and would highly recommend it to other dog owners. You can tell how experienced the whole team is and it’s a lovely space - I would happily hang out there myself! The flexibility and convenience they offer is incomparable and I’m not sure what we’d do without them to be honest. Also, our dog is nervous and not the easiest, but the team have been brilliant with her - she drags me to the door to get in now so she obviously loves it too!
I would recommend WagWorks to anyone! I was worried about sending off my antisocial, thinks-she's-human, never-been-to-daycare-before four-year-old cavapoo, but I wanted to get her more socialised with other dogs, and I wanted somewhere flexible since she doesn't need to go very often. The team at WagWorks have been simply wonderful with her, and now she's losing a lot of her shyness with other dogs. The staff there always go so far above and beyond with each dog, it's lovely - and the vet team is phenomenal and Asta loves them. Can't say enough great things about it!
Our pup (4mnth old Irish Terrier) really loves WagWorks. He gets really excited to see all his daycare buddies. Rhi, Dr Erin and the team really look after him well and have taken the trouble to get to know his specific needs and requirements. We also really enjoyed the puppy classes hosted by Winkie, the in-house behaviourist. We like the facilities (in-house vet, scent den) and the matching of dogs into groups depending on play styles. Also very convenient for our commute to work being close to Putney Bridge Tube. Highly recommend WagWorks and our pup loves his time there.
My wife and I have been taking our black lab Bally to WagWorks since it opened and we can’t recommend it highly enough. Bally is quite an anxious dog but the team at WagWorks have been absolutely brilliant with her. Everyone we’ve met has been welcoming, professional and highly capable, a great team who Bally loves being with!
We have been using Helen for 6 years for several dogs. She always takes excellent care of their individual needs (our dogs are not the easiest!) and makes sure they are happy. I always feel reassured when they are with Helen, knowing she will look after them properly.
Helen is a very reliable cat sitter and she always keeps us well informed about our cats while we are away via WhatsApp. It is stressful looking for a cat sitter but as soon as Helen arrived for her preliminary visit it was clear how much she loved cats.She goes out of her way to put our cats at their ease. Last time Helen called to collect the keys one of our cats actually looked excited to see her. I would have no hesitation in recommending Helen as a cat sitter.
Helen has been looking after our elderly dog twice a week for doggy daycare since January when our previous daycare person retired, and I honestly can’t recommend her more highly. As our dog is older he has some hearing and sight issues and we were quite nervous about finding another person, but Helen is wonderful with him and he absolutely loves her and going to daycare for lovely long walks with his new pack (she sends us photos of all their antics!). I completely trust Helen with caring for our dog and I am so glad we found her.
Helen is the best - our dog Monty absolutely loves her and is so excited every time she picks him up. She shows such affection for the dogs in her care and sends lots of photos of them all having fun throughout the day. Helen was the obvious choice as I didn’t want to send him to daycare in a field or inside and Helen takes them on long walks and he comes home exhausted ! Couldn’t recommend Helen more.

Lovely, lovely Helen was in charge of our gang of furry friends. For 10 days, she stayed with our beloved dog, our ginger boy (cat), and our two guinea pigs. And I swear it's as if they're waiting for her to come back! They clearly had the time of their lives! And Helen was just amazing, keeping us up to date with such wonderful photos and texts. She was so hands-on and so wonderful with the pets. Completely and utterly trustworthy. Our dog never had it so good. He explored the length and breadth of West London with Helen by his side. Helen is just superb and we can't wait to have her look after our brood again. She's popular and it's so easy to see why! We came home to the such a happy and well-loved household!

Chelsea Hounds offer a great and loving service for my two Westies, a service that goes beyond the scope of what I expected. They are always picked up on time and are very vocal about any issues that the dogs may be having. My two dogs are always at the door, waiting excitedly for their walk. I would highly recommend their service for daily doggy walks, and also, for overnight stays, as I have always had a great experience.

We left our lovely cat for 4 days with Camille at her house. She was brilliant with our boy and showed him lots of love and attention which helped him to settle in within a day of being with her. She was fantastic in feeding us with the daily updates of our cat which meant we could relax knowing that he is in good hands. We highly recommend Camille and would definitely hire her again when we go away next.

Catherine loves dogs enormously and that is why she is a wonderful and super dog-sitter. She is so natural, always smiling and amazing with all the dogs; my dog adores her and is incredibly happy to board at Catherine’s. Catherine is great with dogs and Our Miniature schnauzer loves her. We have only used her for Dogwalking but I wouldn’t hesitate to use her for boarding too if the need arose. Bobby is always so excited if we bump into her in the street which proves what a hit she is with dogs.
Catherine looked after my little Maltipoo puppy Nala, and she was just fantastic. I could go to work with the peace of mind that my little fur baby was in the best possible hands. You can tell that Catherine adores dogs, also I really appreciated the text updates during the day to let me know that my little one was doing well. When I went to collect Nala after work she was all ready to go, bag pack and had her lead on. It really made is so easy for me to pick her up and be on our way! We will be back soon :)

Kate & Shay are the perfect cat sitters, I've used their services for the last 3 years after my vet recommended them as trustworthy & caring - which they've proved to be. I have a very nervous rescue cat but she immediately took to them at first meeting! On my last trip, my flight home was cancelled at the last minute but it was no problem for Lucky Paws to schedule an extra feeding until I could get home again the next day. Lucky Paws have been our cat sitters for the last 18 months for our nervous rescue cat. They have been perfect and I feel totally confident leaving her with them. I can see from the videos that my cat adores them. They are the only people she’ll tolerate apart from me and my husband.

I seriously recommend Sunset Paws for ANYONE that wants their dog to be watched for a day or multiple over night sits. Liv and CJ have lots of experience working with the most difficult dogs to the chillest of pups. They research a lot about dogs and are 100% positive reinforcement style training. My dog Tora has lots of quirks from hating to be handled, sick quite often and reactive to loud noises on walks but Liv does such an amazing job at making Tora feel comfortable and having the best time. Liv and CJ even looked after Tora for 4 days during her Phantom Pregnancy which was a very difficult time. They are so gentle and kind, and I know my dog is in safe hands. They do lots of enrichment and training (if you want) with the pups. Liv takes Tora to the park with her long line as her recall isn't great but she ensures Tora has an awesome time playing ball and going exploring. If long walks are out of question then Liv will take your dog on as short or as many walks as they need and provides lots of indoor enrichment from sniffing games, licking mats and more. They keep to your pups regular schedules and the fact they stay in your house/flat means your dog is as cosy as possible. Liv is so kind and from the second she meets your dog you will feel reassured she has so much passion and love for every dog. They do introductory meetings first to ensure your dog is comfortable before being left with her. Liv has on many occasions given me tips on how to handle Toras behaviour and how to make Tora feel her most confident and safe. She really researches and knows her stuff about dogs. I am so so happy to have found Liv and CJ and hope they stay our pet sitters forever :) They also send lots of updates and super cute pics such as this one
Liv at Sunset Paws looks after our reactive miniature dachshund and it has made such a positive difference. Our boy is people and dog reactive so we've really struggled to find a sitter but Liv was so patient and attentive to his needs that now they have become firm friends! To help overcome his reactivity with meeting strangers, Liv was happy to take the initial introductions slowly at our dog's pace to make sure he was fully comfortable for their first sit together. I can't stress enough what a huge difference and relief it's made to have someone we can trust to sit our dog so we can enjoy some time away from him knowing he is being well looked after. Liv has been incredible with our nervous rescue, Truffle. He's always very wary of new people but Liv was amazing at giving him the time he needed to settle around her and now he LOVES her and is so excited when she walks through the door. Liv has also helped us out with different training techniques we're working on at the moment which we really appreciate when we're out for the day and Truffle misses out on training time! We get regular updates when Liv stays and she leaves our house in great condition. I can honestly say she cares for Truffle so much and we always feel super confident leaving him in her care. I could not recommend Liv (and CJ!) from Sunset Paws enough ☺️
Ross is a rescue dog and can be quite anxious and reactive on walks. Liv took care of him a few times already and he is completely obsessed with her. He is always so happy to see her and is very comfortable around her. Liv knows how to respect his space, do a lot of activities he loves and give all the cuddles he asks for. It’s really not easy to trust anyone with you dog, especially when he can be anxious like mine. But Liv is the best and I know I can have peace of mind when Ross is with her. All the updates and pictures she sends are really great too! We are so glad to have found Liv! ❤️
Liv took care of our nervous dog at home a few weeks ago and immediately put both her (the dog) and us at ease. She sent us updates, played with her a lot and took her for a nice walk. She was familiar with her medicine & it was super easy to communicate. We’re so happy with the service, we’ve already booked the next visit!
Liv and CJ are great with our Luna! Luna has only had the pleasure of meeting CJ once, but sees Liv quite a bit more often - and Luna is very smitten with her! Sunset Paws tick all the boxes; Pupdates, Communication, Great in the home, Enrichment activities, and most importantly with any pet sitter - they listen to your instructions and requirements for your pet, so that they can give your dog the sit that is right for them. While our dog is a dream in the home, she’s not the most easy going outside of the home as she can be a pain around larger dogs and isn’t the greatest fan of mopeds/bikes - Liv knows this and handles her really well in spite of this. We would recommend Liv and CJ to anyone wanting to know their pup is in good hands!
Liv and CJ have sat for our shy pup Roo on multiple occasions and are fantastic. They've adapted brilliantly to Roo's needs - whether that be medication, time to get to know them, or making sure she's not alone while we build up her alone time training. When we went on holiday, they not only took wonderful care of Roo, but also of our home. We love Sunset Paws and Roo does too!
I was recommended Sunset Paws Pet Sitting by my behaviourist and that's how I knew I was in good hands. I have a moderately shy pup who I am working with on his reactivity and Liv has been amazing at understanding and adapting her knowledge to his body language and his needs. I would absolutely recommend Liv and CJ from Sunset Paws to any one and everyone, even if you have a pup with no behavioural issues at all! Each sit is tailored to the needs of my pup and I am given every confidence and reassurance that he will be fine and his triggers are all managed. Liv is meticulous, sensible but also lots of fun! You can tell upon immedietly meeting her that she is truly passionate about dogs and is well educated in pup behaviour. It's so rare to find someone my pup took to so quickly, as he usually doesn't deal well with strangers at all. I don't know where I'd be without Sunset Paws. I've been using Liv since November 2022 - and I would rate every sit I've had so far 10/10!!
