Dee and her husband are the most beautiful and easygoing people who gave us a warm welcome and helped us a lot with information about their dogs Hammr and Rolley, their cat Kelly and the neighborhood. They made sure we had an awesome time here in beautiful Mount Coolum. It was the first time for us to housesit a Staffy, but Hammr is just the most adorable girl. She loves to cuddle, especially on the couch. When she is happy she will give you her biggest smile! Rolley is a lovely funny little guy. When there is a connection he will follow you anywhere. He loves a little scratch behind his ears and really is the easiest to walk! Kelly the cat without tail is the most cuddly cat we have ever met. She lives upstairs and if you let her she will come cuddle with you in bed. She loves to push her head into your cheeks and leaves her legs around your neck. Dee was always easy to reach when we needed information and kept us up to date about their travel plans. She is very organized so everything will be there for the pets. There are phone numbers for the vets, emergency contacts and friends if you need any help. We both felt really lucky to housesit for them and made some really special friends!
We had a wonderful sit at Valerie's home in Henderson with Cia. Valerie was a great host and provided us with everything we needed for our sit to be successful. She provided some snacks for us to enjoy during our stay. Valerie left detailed instructions of her home and care for Cia. Her communication was great throughout her trip and replied almost immediately when I sent pictures and updates. Cia is very well behaved, loves to snuggle on the couch, sit outside in the warm sun, go for walks, and enjoys sleeping with us in bed. The home is in a great location close to shopping, restaurants, and walking trails. We would love to have the opportunity to sit for Cia again. I would highly recommend this sit.

This is a wonderful house to sit! Irwin and Meg were very sweet, helpful, and clear about their needs. Written instructions were provided for reference. Charlotte is the 2nd sweetest cat I have ever known (after my own childhood cat). She followed me around and spent most of the time sleeping right next to me, day and night. She does occasionally like to go explore outside, and will wait patiently to be let out (or back in). The home itself is lovely and comfortable, with no issues. Part of the care included watering the garden and flowers, which I found to be a pleasant and meditative experience. There is a wonderful municipal park nearby with miles of walking trails, ponds, meadows, and natural areas. I didn’t go into Hendersonville proper much, but it is nearby and has plenty of restaurants, and there are even a couple good ones right down the street from the house. Loved staying here!
What a great stay! Pi is a lovely cat and her human, MJ, ranks right up there too! MJ’s place in JP is a beautiful, sun-filled respite with old-home charm and modern conveniences that’s beautifully - and comfortably - decorated. There’s sunlight (and reflecting prisms) on one end, and birds visiting bird feeders on the deck outside her office window on the other - and plants throughout! It is fun to visit between both ends of the house during the day and Pi usually knows the best times of the day for both; we just followed her :) (Ours was a winter sit, but we can imagine enjoying her decks and beautiful gardens in the warmer months too.) Pi is simply wonderful. An older lady, she spends a lot of her day basking in the sun, or resting around the house. She won’t say “no” to multiple combings and loves company as she sits on the couch. And we loved that she’s a talker! She’ll let you know when it’s her mealtime/snack time, or if she’s up for some attention and grooming. She’s not a lap cat, but we got pretty close when she settled alongside either one of us on the couch - or sharing the chair in the office. MJ is GREAT and so interesting to visit with. Her notes are detailed and her house very organized. (She even made room for us in the kitchen/refrigerator and guest bathroom which was very thoughtful.) MJ was very responsive with any questions we had during our stay. And her neighbors/friends were friendly and helpful as well. We enjoyed her JP location as it was close to the Arboretum, central JP and the transportation lines. We would love to sit for MJ with Pi again if the opportunity arose. Thank you, MJ, for a wonderful sit :)
We had a terrific stay at Ebony’s stunning place and got to hang out with chill Sylvester and ball of energy sweet petite Keanu. Adored both the cats. Keanu even made a few appearances on my work calls and absolutely loved to snuggle. Ebony’s place is gorgeous and her rooftop was amazing, we made dinner one night and sat up there. So relaxing. Ebony was great and super easy to communicate with. We loved our stay, thanks Ebony and the sweet boys!
