Our stay at Mary and Steve's was nothing short of a long dreamed of mountain getaway. While we were at first a little apprehensive of watching over 4 dogs and a cat, they were all so well-mannered, independent, and easy to love that it was hard to leave them after a week. It was very refreshing to see dogs treated like dogs should be. Many of them free-roamed the mountain trails entirely independently and ate at their own pace throughout the day, as we would make food and water available to them all day. There were several nice hiking trails right in their back yard - in fact these trails were a part of a national forest - that we loved taking the pups on. In addition to being very playful and adventurous, they were also very loving and cuddly, and absolute sweethearts. Their home has a beautiful porch (well, three) with a view of Pike's Peak and surrounding mountain areas and is equipped with a telescope for stargazing (or people-watching lol) as well as all the cozy fixings - fireplace, movie room, western/mountain decor - of a mountain lodge. It would be a great pleasure to house sit for Mary and Steve again. We're glad to have met you guys!

Chris
I had a wonderful long weekend with Chris and Joe’s adorable dog Cooper, who is as special as Chris describes him in his detailed write up. He’s cooperative, patient, calm and quiet almost always, undemanding unless he needs something, and a good companion. He loves nothing more than to be near you! Cooper can be a grazer but ate well and did his business very regularly on our walks. He walks briskly but doesn’t pull on the leash. We walked around the lake on the property several times a day and went to Al Lopez park right up the street for longer daily walks. Cooper is a real pleasure to spend time with.

Chris and Joe were great hosts and communicators prior to and throughout the sit. They live in Midtown, a very interesting area in Tampa with shops, a grocery store and lots of great restaurants right below the condos! Their condo is very comfortable, nice big wrap around balcony, lots of premier tv channels, and many amenities available in the complex, including pool and gym.

I would definitely recommend taking care of Cooper and hope to be invited back!

I had a wonderful time at Susanna and Mario's. There area is very beautiful. Most of all Baloo is such a treat to care for. I particularly enjoyed time walking, brushing and cuddling him. I would definitely recommend this sit.

Nikki
This house sit was very relaxing. Nikki's house is very beautiful with stunning scenery outside and amazing decor inside. There are some good walks right from the front door and good bird watching at nearby Chard reservoir. Nikki has 2 gorgeous cats, Ying and Yang, and they are as different as their names suggests. Ying is the most affectionate and is happy to cuddle up at night on the sofa with you. Yang only put in 2 appearances the whole week I was there. A bit disconcerting but Nikki warned me about this. But both are beautiful white long haired cuties. The two nearby towns have all you need in the way of amenities with Ilminster having some great independent shops. Nikkis house has all the mod cons i needed and the sitters bedroom and bathroom has its own independent staircase. I do not hesitate to recommend this sit, you will be in for a treat on so many levels

Leanne
We can most definitely recommend a Housesit for Leanne and Jamie. First and foremost, they are two genuine persons who did what they could to make us feel comfortable and welcome us in their lovely home. They even bought us local gifts. In terms of the pets, Nala and Bobbi, the cat, they are both so lovely and social animals. Nala loves its walks in the park and runs on the beach. She is so so social and follows you around and loves to cuddle up next to you in the bed- truly an amazing dog, that is so easy and lovely to be around, the same goes for Bobbi, a beautiful cat, who loves to watch you and be next to you and get some cuddles.

Lauren & Max make you feel completely comfortable when walking into their home. Watching coconut & Elliott was a fun little 3 days. They live in a very walkable neighborhood to walk the dog. Def would come back. Much love 🙃
