Pam
Pam and Jan were great to sit for! They are in a wonderful and convenient spot in Manchester, adjacent to a lovely park for walking and bike riding, and a relatively easy walk from Old Trafford (we got to see a Manchester United game!) Their house is lovely, comfortable, well-appointed, and we loved sitting out in the conservatory. We would gladly recommend sitting for them, and would love to sit again for them one day!

Pauline Leslie
We had a very pleasant and enjoyable time in Pauline and Michael's comfortable house. Driving up this beautiful winding road, through the orange trees with the sweet smell of their blossoms, straight into this lovely and friendly village, was a real treat. As soon as Pauline opened the front gate, we immediatly felt very welcome. The weather was fine, so we could get to know eachother and have a nice chat, on the terrace. All necessary information was naturally shared throughout the evening, and Mee was watching everything from a distance, with her calm and attentive energy.
We stayed a couple of weeks and enjoyed the mild temperatures and the region that lends itself to beautiful walks. The distance to the nearest town is only a ten minutes drive, where there's plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and the beach. The cosy corner with the two bars in the village was a pleasant surprise, as was the splendid view over the valley we had from the houses rooftop terrace.
Mee has a very calm and sweet inviting energy once she gets to know you, and her purring invited us to spoil her even more. The communication during the sit was fluent.
To us all the boxes were ticked! We definitly recommend this sit!
Thanks again Pauline and Michael for giving us the opportunity to meet you and take care of your lovely house and the beautiful Mee. Hope our roads will cross again sometime.

Best wishes and a warm hug.

Layne
Layne is the perfect host. Her communication from start to finish made the trip exceptionally easy and hassle free! We really appreciated her user manual & getting a chance to meet the 3 wonderful doggos the evening before Layne’s trip. Now let’s get to the wonderful dogs:

Boots - our fearless leader. Boots is wise beyond his years & is cleverly tuned into exact feeding time, treats & snuggle opportunities throughout the day. I don’t think there was a moment when Kate did not have Boots curled up on her lap while working away - unless he was off playing with Lucy!

Lucy - puppy full of love. Lucy is always keeping an eye on her pack. Every morning Mitch would let her out and she would roam the perimeter of the garden a few times, before returning for her morning meal. She loves playing with you and the other dogs, so we made sure to keep her entertained with fetch, squeaky toys and cuddles!

Coco - chief mama of the pack. What can we say, Coco is truly special. More strategic in her energy use than Lucy and Boots, Coco will quietly croon for attention with soft barks / indistinct noises which roughly translate to “pick me up, it’s cuddle time!” - which we were more than happy to accommodate. There is nothing Coco loves more (mayyybe treats!) than a gentle rub sitting on your lap :)

The space - 5 star experience! Every small detail from the luxurious hand soap, guest phone chargers, french press coffee maker & connected TV made this experience 5 stars. We worked our way through Layne’s list of local recommendations which felt like a personalized trip advisor guide. Our absolute favorite ‘food moment’ however was cooking using the fresh tomatoes and figs from Layne’s impressive garden, hanging with the dogs, and soaking in the tranquil Sonoma evenings. Layne couldn’t have made us feel more at home or have been more friendly. We look forward to meeting up sometime soon!

Delia
Excellent communication. Delia needed to cancel this sit but offered to let me stay at her place anyway, which was very thoughtful of her.
