Robin's communication helped with us know what was needed for the pups. Oreo and Maple are the cutest Spegiels, and Maple in particular loves to cuddle. It was a beautiful sit in a gorgeous home.
Donna's place was absolutely lovely. We looked after her 3 cats and they were very easy and enjoyable to pet sit for. The house itself is in a very convenient location with shops in walking distance and a bus stop near by which will take you straight to the city.
Shar and Neil are amazingly kind, excellent pet parents and extremely hospitable with a lovely home. Their fur babies, Lulu, Lexi and Penny are simply adorable and one can't help but fall in love with them!!! It was an absolute delight hanging out with the girls on the deck, under the front lawn tree and snuggling on the sofa. I highly recommend this sit to future housesitters.
Isabel's flat was spacious and had everything needed for a enjoyable stay. The bed was very comfortable and the neighbours are also really lovely and helpful. Kiwi and Millie are sweet and easy to care for. Kiwi is great fun, has wonderful wall jumping skills, delights in ball throw and with a little time was sitting in our laps in the evenings. Millie is more cautious but also liked to be nearby often sitting on the back of the sofa every evening. The 'girls' are very quiet in the mornings patiently waiting for breakfast. We were really sad to goodbye to them both. Elche is a wonderful place - there is a historical sites, beautiful beaches and Isabel's flat is a short walk to the downtown area with many restaurants and shops. A grocery store and pharmacy are also only a 2 minutes walk. Finding a car park is an adventure but we were always successful. Having a car allowed us to enjoy the beaches, Cartagena, Alicante and inland castles but there is also a lot to see and do within walking distance or with a bus ride.
We really enjoyed looking after Mrs Pickles in Denise and Barry's beautiful home in New Milton. The house was very comfortable, bright, clean, and airy. We were expecting Mrs Pickles to be very shy, but she seemed to be quite chilled out about our presence, meowing and purring away. She's a very sweet cat! Communication was great with Denise and Barry before and during the sit. Denise gave us a really helpful walk-through of everything in the house and Mrs Pickles' care before leaving. We'd absolutely love to return to see Mrs Pickles again and enjoy more of the stunning local area. The location is brilliant, with the beach just a short walk away. Thanks Denise and Barry!
