We quite enjoyed this sit and can add only a bit to what others have said. It had all we wanted: lovely pets, peace and quiet in a country setting and good stores with all the amenities we needed. The close surrounding towns offered variety, along with national parks with waterfalls. Lewa, the Golden Retriever required a good brush every day and the house needed vacuuming almost every day to collect the hair. There is a little battery powered Dyson stick that does the job very well. The yard gets muddy when it rains, so the dogs bring in a lot of dirt. We rinsed their feet in a bowl before they came in. There's a lot of work but it's well worth it for such a nice house sit!
Jilly & Dom were incredibly kind & welcoming. Their home is beautiful and so peaceful. Bonnie is such a lovely lovely pup, my little boy (1 year old) and Bonnie got along so well, she was extremely gentle and patient with him. It was a really great experience and we would absolutely recommend to others. Thank you Jilly, Dom & Bonnie xx
If you're into nature, you will love Villars-sur-Ollon! It's a great village with lots of beautiful hikes around. Flyn, a beautiful Border Collie you will be sitting is very easy-going and smart. The house is great with a comfortable guest room and a gorgeous view on the mountains. Very easy communication with Eileen! Has my recommendation - for sure!
Helen was very kind to invite me in her home and provided me with everything needed and more. I felt very comfortable with her as a host and she was always reachable during my sit. Helen's apartment is a really quite and calm place, you can hear the birds chirping and it's perfect to relax. I also really enjoyed spending time with Micha and Dr. Fauchi, they were very adorable shy companions during the sit. Thanks for everything, I really enjoyed the stay!
