Dog Sitters in Galashiels

Dominica was a wonderful pet sitter, and I could tell straight away that she was trustworthy and she was experienced with cats. Most importantly, it is obvious that she really enjoys looking after animals. She sent us lovely pictures and updates most days, and when we arrived home, it was like no one had been here, the flat was immaculate. I would reccomend Dominica to anyone looking for a caring pet sitter.

Ryan and Fran looked after Arwen for 9 days, it was the longest we’d left Arwen and she had the most fantastic time with them. Ryan arrived early to let us get away and Arwen greeted him with waggy tail and kisses which she doesn’t everyone! She had great adventures with them, she went running with them on a running harness and was also taken exploring to the next island. She got taken to the beach a couple of times and did loads of her favourite long walks. When we got home, we were greeted by a very happy dog who tried to block them from leaving and cried once they had gone! Fran and Ryan had the right amount of contact with us while we were gone, they were very self sufficient and didn’t need any extra help with anything. The house was super tidy and the bedding had been stripped and washed. I wouldn’t hesitate to have Ryan and Fran back again to look after Arwen. They were very easy guests to have and Arwen clearly loved having them around.

Anna was great with my 2 dogs, they were well cared for and seemed to have plenty of cuddles. The house was clean and tidy, and Anna had very kindly made the bed with clean linen, all ready for me to fall into after my long flight! I would have given her 5 stars but she had rearranged my kitchen cupboards and not told me, which I found quite confusing! However the new arrangement works well so i will probably leave it, just would liked to have been told. However, Anna was excellent with Mimo and Woody (the dogs) and looked after the house very well so I would definitely recommend her.

As before, we had an excellent experience by having Pearl and John looking after our family. Hugo and the kittens had been well looked after and our house was imaculate. Pearl and John have looked after our gang many times and we feel totally confident leaving them in their care.

Zoe took good care of my cats Pumpkin and Shadow. She was able to follow their meal routine and kept them on their medicine. She sent lots of great videos and photos daily while I was away which I appreciated.

I cannot recommend Sarah highly enough. I knew she was going to be ideal for us after our first contact on FaceTime. She is bubbly and enthusiastic as well as extremely well organized and self sufficient. She sent regular updates and photos of her beach walks with our Lab, Sadie, whilst we were away and the house was immaculately tidy and clean on our return. I hope she will return for another sit soon.

Beatrice was really easy to communicate with in advance, and throughout the sit - and clearly looked after my dog (and my flat!) really well. Would definitely recommend 😊

Charles and Carin were fantastic house sitters. They looked after our 3 dogs brilliantly, giving them lots of walks and cuddles. Carin kept in touch on a daily basis via WhatsApp and we were sent photos of our boys always looking very happy. Our house was immaculate when we got back from our holiday and we would 100% recommend Charles and Carin to housesit your home.

Jess & Rob were great housesitters , loved my animals and treated them with love and care. I would recommend them as housesitters.

Chloe was the perfect sitter for my two pups! I’ve been using zeewoi for a while now but Chloe was the first person I was able to spend some time with before heading off on my trip and I’m so glad we did. She is lovely and she made me and my dogs feel comfortable with her taking over during my trip. While I was away she kept me updated with texts and pictures that confirmed that everything was going well! She kept the flat clean and tidy and when I returned it was as if no one was ever here! I’d welcome her back in a heartbeat and couldn’t recommend her enough!

James and Madelanne came and house-sat for me while I was overseas. They are a very nice couple, friendly and helpful, communicated well before and after the sit and left the place very clean and tidy, and even left me a wee welcome home gift which was lovely and much appreciated. Sadly my cat died a couple of weeks before the sit so there was no pet to look after so I can't review that aspect, they were very understanding about the change in circumstances and happy to go ahead with the sit. I highly reccomend J&M as sitters and they are welcome back any time!

Gillian was wonderful. Communication was great before, during and after sit. She sent photos of Luna with cute wee updates, I could tell Luna was very fond of her & they connected quickly. Gillian was very friendly & kind. The house was spotless on our return. I have already asked her back on a repeat sit. Five star sitter 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
