Laszlo’s home is lovely! Peter & Renay’s thoughtful and beautiful home was a perfect stay. It was lovely to walk Laszlo up and down the hills and surrounding beach paths and hiking paths everyday. Laszlo is a perfect gentleman. He is just coming out of his puppiness and is still very curious but very well behaved. His routine’s are very easy to get used to and he will be greatly missed!
I had a spectacular experience house-sitting for Aleksandra in Gdansk. Caring for her cat, Maly, was a joy. He's a cat with character who loves to play, and his favorite thing in the world is eating. Maly is very sweet; each day we got to know each other better and grew closer. As the days passed, he started sleeping closer to my head. He loves cuddles in the morning and to play with my hair elastics. Aleksandra was an excellent host, generously offering her room even while she was still there. We stayed in constant contact over the 16 days, and I'm very grateful for the opportunity. Gdansk is a vibrant city with plenty of activities and museums to explore. While working remotely, I had the chance to visit some wonderful places. On rainy days, I enjoyed going to a gym just four minutes away and watching Game of Thrones with Maly. Highly recommend this experience! I hope I can spend more time with Maly in the future❤️🐱
William was very kind and his communication was excellent, he left us very clear instructions and even recommendations of things to do. His house is beautiful and very comfortable. Kofi is a super affectionate and intelligent dog, he will be your hiking guide because he knows the routes very well. Kiwi is the sweetest kitten you can meet. Pineapple is even more playful, but both are super adorable. Overall a great experience really recommended pet sitting.
Andrew & I enjoyed a wonderful time with Bertie, we loved his company very much, he is such a beautiful gentle boy and great communicator. Bertie is a pleasure to walk off the lead, he always checks your whereabouts and has excellent re-call skills. He loves water! Swimming in it and drinking it! Each morning after I had washed his water bowl and popped fresh water in he would enjoy a good drink and sometimes he would lie on the floor next to his bowl, his long ears and part of his face immersed as he drank. If could he would probably be in the bowl! He is a boy who loves to relax, he’ll lie across you, often belly up, as his coat is gently brushed and dip in and out of slumber. He’s not so keen on having a wash with the cold water via the hose which is sometimes needed on his return from jaunts but he’s such a sweetheart he’ll stand without complaint until clean again. Bertie is learning not to jump up at folk. He’s doing really well with this and was really trying to self-regulate during our sit. He responds incredibly well to consistent encouragement and praise in regard to this. Bertie was a pleasure to care for and gave us a wonderful time with many memories to treasure. Mel and Mark are very friendly and easygoing. They have a beautiful home, with the added bonus of air conditioning. Thank you both for the sit. Incredible family, precious dog and fun area!!! I got to meet Henry, Sarah and the family a bit before coming to send a few weeks with Henry. I felt super welcome and comfortable with everyone and got all the needed information+ for my sit. The house is extremely comfortable and surrounded by so many amazing paths and parks to walk Henry!! Nowww, Henry!!! He is the most loveable dog! Expect people to strike up a conversation and when at home he will usually be in your vicinity. He's a bundle of love and cuddles all combined in one!! The morning greetings are so much fun! And he's the best walking buddy. Walking him is easy and his recall is incredible (gets easily distracted only by bodies of water but then so happy to be in there you won't stop laughing) he's also so easy going and relaxed he came with me everywhere. Pubs, brunches, restaurants, seeing friends, he's great!! I had the most incredible time with Henry and will definitely look forward to spend more time with him in the future!!
What a lovely housesit this was. The area is calm and quiet. The surrounding walks are lovely. Annie dog is adorable and so very affectionate. As long as you understand her eccentricities - keep a firm hold when walking, especially around other dogs, cars, bikes or even horses (!) - she is a great companion in the nearby nature trails and paths. Ralph is a character, and loves human company. Maisie as well likes you to visit and pat her in her upstairs aerie. Rodney and Carole were kind and considerate. They picked me up from the train station and hurried straight home in order to be back in time to return me to the train station. They made room in the fridge and the cupboards and drawers for my things. The delicious chocolates and a lovely note on parting were bonuses. The house is beautiful with every amenity you could want. I enjoyed the art very much. The furniture is very comfortable, especially the outdoor patio furniture, where I spent a lot of my time. I very much enjoyed my time here.
