A fantastic location, home, and animals! Julie was very welcoming as well as communicative, both in advance of and during the sit. The house sits in a fabulous quiet area of the mountains just outside of Denver with plenty of land to roam and pleasant neighbors. Also plenty of local trails nearby within 10 minutes as well as more strenuous hiking options within an hour or so. Meg, the dog, is a true lover and believes she is a tiny puppy rather than the larger dog she is. If you let her, she will give you tendonitis from throwing and fetching the ball all day! Percy and Leo, the sibling cats, are at the same time avid hunters and ferocious cuddlers. They purr easily and love to curl up on your lap or chest or shoulders. Of course, they only do so after doing a little kitty kneading on you and providing loving head butts as well as little kisses on the nose ... and occasionally little love bites as well. All in all great hospitality and a great place. I would gladly sit for Julie again!
I can't say enough great things about working with Tim and Judy! From start to finish it was a smooth and beautiful experience (I'm so sad to leave!). They picked me up from the airport and helped me get settled in to their home. Judy had a wonderful list of recommendations for the area, and even introduced me to her lovely group of friends. Tim took the time to show me around the North Coast before I departed. Socks and Beau were a joy to take after and SO snuggly. We settled into a routine quite quickly. Portrush is a beautiful wee seaside town with lots to do and a welcoming community. I can't recommend this sit enough. You won't find nicer people!!! ❤️ Thanks Judy and Tim for all of the craic!
We loved our stay in Sandra's beautiful cottage just a fifteen minute walk from the centre of Penzance. Sandra was very welcoming and offered us dinner on the evening we arrived. She provided an excellent guide with detailed information abut the house and Odi's needs, as well as lots of tips for places to visit around Penzance and along Cornwall's south coast, not to mention dinner on the evening we arrived. Odi is a gorgeous dog, full of charm and energy and extremely affectionate. He loves his walks in the nearby fields and woods, but especially long treks along the Cornwall coastal path. We hugely appreciated Sandra's hospitality and given the opportunity would be delighted to return some time.
I had the most amazing time in Greece this October. Laurie and Jane were amazingly personable, friendly, and very kind people. Their home was amazing with fantastic views/location. Both kept intouch and gave clear guidance and answered any questions from the moment of application to when i eventially got to Greece. Laurie very kindly picked me up from the airport and dropped me off. A gesture that was very welcomed being my first time in Athens and arriving late at night. He also helped show me around and settle in to the immediate surroundings. Thank you Laurie! Unfortunately only met Jane virtually but hope to meet her next time. The 3 cats were glorious! Confident, sassy, and independent with their own quaint personalities. Initially not traditionally lapcats, (or so i thought), though very loving.... but towards the end of my stay they were following me about, every where, just to be close to me, and even got on my lap as watched netflix in the evening! So that was wonderful .😄 Except for beautiful and cheeky little Lucy, with the most vocal personality ever, (she actually answerers you when you speak to her which is so cute). She is very loving, but a little nervous so doesn't like to be picked up, but loves humans all the same and will chat to you and come to you regardless. Especially food time haha. The location is close to the beach and the town of Lagonisi quite a lovely, secure and very upmarket area....you can walk both in half hour. But due to a busy road leading off to those places, a car or taxi is probably safer. Saying that there are a few other little shops etc closer by and walking distance. So it isn't a problem. Just be careful as Greeks drive fast....🏍🚙. Athens and getting there is about a 1.5- 2 hr journey and accessible by local public transport. I visited with a friend and it's a must! So historical! All in all - a wonderful stay, a wonderful and very hospitable couple (Laurie and Jane) and amazing cats (which i miss already! ) Definitely would love to return next year. Thank you Jane, Laurie, sammy, Tilly and Lucy xx 💕
Amazingly friendly and fun cats in a pleasant apartment in an interesting and vital Brooklyn neighborhood. The cats love being around people and will make that clear from the first moments of your sit. Bushwick has great restaurants and is good both for walking and for proximity to mass transit. Overall a lovely sit that we would like to be able to do again someday.
Debbie is very organized and complete with her pet needs. Cody is a sweet older dog. He is easy with a great disposition. The home is comfortable and cozy - close to Trader Joe’s which is a big perk. I spent a very nice ten days with Cody.
