Just a few words to encapsulate our thoughts of Deborah, and her sitting experiences at our place with our cat Sadie.... - Amazing - Respectful - Trustworthy - Loving/Caring Deborah has cared after our cat, and our space, on 10+ occasions over the years. She is an amazing person, and a true testament to what members on this site look for when identifying a sitter for a staycay while they go away. We have labelled Deborah our 'cat whisperer', as it seems our cat loves her as much as she does us (which is extraordinary given our cat is somewhat fickle toward others). And vice versa - Deborah is a clear pet lover, and is offering her services for all the right reasons -- because her innate love of animals, and her interest in enjoying other spaces. We head away knowing full well our cat/space is well looked after, and appreciate the updates she sends with pics and details of how her stay is going. Would 1000% recommend utilizing Deborah, time and time again. I know we have, and will continue to, offer staycays to this fabulous person.

We felt very confident leaving our pets and home in Jillian’s care. She was personable, very familiar with dogs and very conscientious about caring for Gryphon and Finn. She kept in regular contact with us and even visited our neighbours to keep watch on our cat who was being a bit elusive during the week. Finn (our dog) thrived under her care with the walks and hikes she took him on. House was perfect when we got home. We would definitely have Jillian again and recommend her to others. Thank you for taking care of our pets and home Jillian.

We enjoyed having Ben and Susan sit our home and dogs. They were organized, responsible, kind and thoughtful. They clearly followed care instructions and left our home as it was found. We highly recommend.

Emily and David were great. Emily kept us posted with pictures of the kitties and they were very happy and content. They were flexible in checking in/out and communicated promptly to arrange it with me. Communicative, caring and super nice humans.

I felt so settled knowing Lindsay was taking care of Banks. It was apparent she has a deep love and connection with cats and this was exactly the person I wanted for him. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Scarlett was the perfect house and pet sitter!!! We would have her back anytime. She sent updates 2x daily (with pics) - morning and evening and our animals absolutely loved her. Our house was super clean and tidy when we got home! Scarlett is friendly, trustworthy and a great communicator- we highly recommend her!

There are number of things that we really liked about Liang and Max. They had great communication skills. They always checked in with us before doing anything. For example they made some cat treats and texted us the ingredients and asked if that was okay. They sent pictures of the garden before weeding etc. We really appreciated that. They also updated us regularly with photos and videos of the cats. We loved that! It was clear that they were being well taken care of. We would definitely use them again. They both are easy going, good communicators and have a good sense of humour. Liang and Max are very trustworthy. We left several key items at home accidentally and they sent them along to us quickly. Also upon return they left food in the fridge for us as well as made us dinner! This was very much appreciated.

Karen is fantastic! She is an excellent communicator, organized and very tidy. Karen looked after my two cats, Darcy and Rory, over a 3-week period. She arrived well in advance on my departure so I could show her around the house and go over any last minute details. Unexpectedly, on the night before I was to start my vacation, I found a hematoma lump in Darcy’s ear. It was a long weekend so my vet’s office was closed for another two days. I tried to have him seen by an emergency vet but they were too busy and unable to fit him in. When Karen arrived I explained the situation. She was awesome. She told me not to worry. She made an appointment for Darcy with my vet and took him to the vet to be checked over. Thankfully, it was a minor injury and was fixed up with a shot of antibiotics and a painkiller. Karen kept me informed with Darcy’s care and he made a speedy recovery. When I got back found house spotless. Darcy and Rory were happy, healthy and super relaxed. I have no hesitation in recommending Karen and look forward to having her back to housesit for me in the future.

If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, compassionate, and truly great with pets, Katie is your person. We’re so grateful for her care with our pup Bo and look forward to having her sit for us again in the future. Thank you, Katie, for being such an amazing pet sitter!

Vonne and Oakley were very attentive to our two dogs. The dogs were walked regularly and were well cared for. We got daily updates along with photos. Very caring, reliable, trust-worthy, neat and tidy house/ pet sitters.

Marta and Phil are wonderful! They took excellent care of our pets, house and yard. They are highly responsible and paid close attention to our instructions. The animals were happy and the house spotless when we returned. They were communicative before and during our trip, sending photos while we were away. They are delightful people. I recommend them without reservation, and hope to be able to have them back again.
