We have to take our dog here because he’s too aggressive at our regular boarding kennel. It’s a little out in the country, so he gets fresh air and exercise. Good size kennels and it’s a decent size facility. The staff is friendly, polite and they care about animals. Trusted boarding kennel!

We have used other kennels and the care and attention our dogs received is in no comparison to what we have experienced at Alkire. We have a 13 year old that they gave extra care to and attentive to her needs. We have a 4 year old who’s high energy and the open fields were perfect for him. The staff were responsive when we checked in and every staff member showed extreme care. Our dogs were well cared for and we will be back.

My dog loves this place! He goes here when we are out of town and every couple weeks for his baths. I'm pretty sure he is happier to go here than he is going anywhere.

I recently had a grooming experience for my dog at Alkire Kennels with Emily, and unfortunately, it was far from satisfactory. Despite booking a standard grooming appointment, my dog was subjected to a six-hour ordeal that resulted in only a bath and a poorly executed haircut. Upon picking up my dog, I was shocked to see that only half of his body was trimmed, and the cuts were uneven and sloppy. I was informed that the reason for this incomplete grooming was due to my dog supposedly biting during the process, which I found highly unusual as he has never displayed aggressive behavior in the past. What was even more concerning was the lack of communication throughout the grooming process. Despite waiting for over four hours without any updates, I was only informed about the delay when I called to inquire. I would have appreciated being notified immediately if there were any issues or concerns regarding my dog's behavior. Furthermore, I was dismayed to discover that I was charged $70 for a service that fell far short of expectations. Not only did my dog not receive a full grooming service as initially requested, but the quality of the service provided was subpar. Overall, I am deeply disappointed with my dog's grooming experience at Alkire Kennels with Emily. I expected professional and attentive care for my pet, but instead, I was met with a lack of transparency, incomplete service, and a hefty price tag. I urge the establishment to reevaluate their grooming practices and prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of their customers and their pets.

Gertie loves going to school here so much. The staff is so friendly and they are great with the dogs. We love everything about Alkire Kennels!!

Prices are very fair, including a phenomenal military discount. My dogs stayed for 4 nights, with 1 of them joining the Doggie daycare group (he's high energy). They did not provide any kind of daily check in/status but were happy to do so if you contacted them. I have brought 1 dog back since then for Doggie daycare one other time. I would have rated 5 stars but both times The dog who attended Doggie day care came home he did so with an abrasion on the side of his pawpad, which did lead to an infection and require vet care. I believe he got it from active play onto of the rocks they use for ground cover (they are NOT small pebbles or smooth river rocks). So I do not recommend the Doggie daycare if you have a high energy dog as the rocks apparently have sharp edges. But I do overwhelming recommend the boarding services. They took good care of my fur babies.

Went looking for a new grooming/ boarding facility and arrived unannounced. Their services, runs, boarding rooms, and outside play areas are awesome as well as the staff we met. I believe, we found a new place!

First boarding experience for my dog was amazing. He has bad separation anxiety where we medicate him, but he didn’t even need them at Alkire! He loved it there! And I loved he had so much room to run :) the people are great too. Makes it leaving my dog so much easier. And let’s talk about the great price! This place is clean and beautiful! Will always go here.

Been taking our fur baby here about two years now. Change ownership but service is just as good. We also get our pup groomed here and the young lady that cut his hair does a good job. You just need to work around there hours though for boarding. I think they keep there price at a good rate by not staying open all day long.

Really feel comfortable boarding our Golden Retriever, Chief, at Pinnacle Pets. We get a detailed daily report card with pictures and comments on how he is doing, and the staff pay attention to what makes him happy (like tennis balls and water play). Our cats love their stays too. We highly recommend.

Thank you so much for taking care of our cat Finn while we were on vacation-- the daily reports were very sweet and we looked forward to seeing them every night to see how he was doing. We know Finn is extremely attached to us but the level of care and kindness by the staff helped ease that anxiety and we can tell he was very well taken care of during his nine day stay.

Cannot recommend Pinnacle Pets enough. From overnight boarding or daycare we won't take our dogs anywhere else. Our dogs start going crazy when we pull in the parking lot they can't wait to play. The daily report cards and pictures are so cute and make us feel so much better about leaving our dogs in there care. My whole family watches the daycare cameras as our entertainment at work!!

Pinnacle Pets Play and Stay has always provided outstanding care for my pets! They took such great care of our previous dog when we went on vacation, and now with our new pup, the experience has been just as exceptional. We recently attended a Puppy Mingle, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff genuinely loves what they do, and it shows in how they make every effort to keep the pups comfortable and happy. From training classes, daycare, and overnight stays to grooming and more, they offer everything you need to keep your furry friend well taken care of. Highly recommend! 🐾

We have used the boarding services at Pinnacle for years. Our two goldendoodles LOVE going there! They offer so many comforts of home for them. They really went above and beyond this last stay for one of our girls who was having a difficult time containing her excitement. They stay in communication which I really appreciate! Great place and staff! ♥️🐾

We are so glad we discovered Pinnacle Pets Play & Stay for our aging dog. She just stayed 2 weeks while we were on vacation and it was very reassuring for us to get a daily report & photos. She had recently developed a digestive system issue and seeing the report that she was eating and getting her medication was a huge relief for us. Due to spinal arthritis we decided not to have her join group play and instead ordered one-on-one enrichment sessions which we could tell she enjoyed in the photos. This was the second time she had stayed there and she will be staying for 2 weeks again later this year. Having a staff person there 24/7 is a great comfort. Any staff we have interacted with has been very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Pinnacle Pets for your furry friend.

I boarded my little guy here for a week and I couldn't be happier with how well they took care of him. They took tons of pictures so I could see what he got into each day, and the daily report cards were so sweet and detailed. There was also a day they let me know they pulled him out of daycare a little early, and I'm grateful they were closely watching for any signs of discomfort / overstimulation and did what was best for him. I also paid extra for enrichment sessions - these were well worth the cost and I could tell from the pictures they were easily his favorite part of the day. Can't say enough how much I appreciate the peace of mind I got knowing he was in great hands. He'll definitely be back.

Sophie absolutely loves coming to Pinnacle Pets, and I’m so glad I have a place that takes such good care of her. They truly love my girl like she is their own. I have no worries when traveling and leaving my baby with Pinnacle Pets. I know she is great hands.

This place is THE BEST! Our dog, Pete, has become so social due to this place and he originally came to us a bit timid. The staff here are all extremely friendly and sincerely care about the animals. I cannot recommend this place enough!

In preparation for boarding we took our dog in for ‘Orientation Day’. Drop off was easy and the employees were very friendly. I had a minor meltdown because our dog has always been with my wife or me. The employee was very understanding and let me know how he was doing. We received a mid day update and an end of the day report card. Our dog seemed to be very happy when we picked him up and was definitely tuckered out that day. Will update after we board our dog, but orientation day has definitely made me feel much more at ease.

This was my first time using a pet sitter for my cats and I was very satisfied with the entire experience. Karen, my cat sitter, came to meet my cats prior to the dates that I was gone and to figure out their routine/my setup. She was very easy to reach with questions beforehand. Karen took care of my kittens while I was gone and kept me updated throughout the day which was truly appreciated. I usually go to great lengths to take my cats along with me wherever I go, but that is not always possible. This was a great experience and I will definitely be using their services for as long as I stay in Columbus. Thanks again!

Natasha and Karen did a wonderful job taking care of our older cat while we were on vacation. They were very responsive and friendly, and great to work with. They prepared her food and gave her the medicines she needed. I know they really cared about her and gave her lots of love and attention. They texted daily updates to let us know how she was doing. I had peace of mind on vacation knowing they were taking good care of our kitty and keeping an eye on the house. I highly recommend these ladies and will be using them again!

Natasha and her team did a wonderful job taking care of my two small Chihuahuas while I was gone. Not long before I left, I realized there was a potential issue with a neighbor with an aggressive dog. Since I had two small dogs that could easily be injured by this aggressive dog, I made sure I mentioned my concern to Natasha. She was very understanding of my concern made me feel much more at ease with the situation. Throughout my weekend away, they would text me updates on how the dogs were which made my time away much more enjoyable. They took such great care of them and told me how great they were when I was away, which was a huge relief! I will definitely be using Bart & Gabriel Pet Sitting for my next trip and know they will be left in the best hands possible! Natasha has done an amazing job with our first puppy Winston. My wife and I needed someone to help us with potty breaks and walks during the day while we were at work and we felt confident with Bart & Gabriel from the onset. We get update texts and pictures of our little guy whenever Natasha makes a visit and how he's doing everyday. She was excellent about accommodating our needs on short notice and going above and beyond in helping out when Winston was sick. I would highly recommend Bart and Gabriel to anyone in need of dog walking services.

I've never hired a pet sitter before and was very nervous about leaving my three greyhounds and cat home alone for six days but after meeting Natasha and seeing how thorough and professional she and Bart and Gabriel Pet Sitting is, I felt confident that my furry family would be well cared for. I was right. It was as if we had only been gone for the day. Everyone was healthy and happy and the house was just as we left it. Natasha was very quick to answer my e-mails before, during and after my trip. I would definitely hire her to take care of my pets in the future.

We were looking for someone to watch our beloved pet rabbit (Gilbert) for a week while we were on vacation. This was our first time leaving him so we were very nervous. Our vet referred us to Natasha and we met with her at our home and were instantly convinced this was the right person for Gilbert (and us). We could not have been more pleased with the level of care, kindness and service Natasha provided. She was the epitome of professionalism in our home and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting her! Can't say enough good things about our experience with Bart and Gabriel over the past year. We have a young dog with a lot of energy and needed an outlet for him during our long work hours. Natasha is prompt with scheduling visits and communication is great! Our Milo just LOVES his days when Miss Hope comes to walk him. We get updates about their walk, potty habits, and a few pictures every visit. We just LOVE this service and their caregivers, we are confident you will too!

Natasha came to take care of my two cats this week while I was on vacation. This has been by far the best travel experience for both my husband and I and our pets. Normally traveling causes a huge amount of stress for both myself and our animals because neither handle kennels well, but being able to stay at home and have a new friend to play with worked wonderfully. Their litter boxes were clean when we came home, and most importantly the cats were happy! We will definitely be using Natasha's services again!

We used Bart and Gabriel's pet service for our 3 cats and cockatiel while we were on a recent vacation. At the initial appointment, Natasha was very thorough finding out about all of our pets and their special needs, personalities etc. Since Debbie was the person who would actually take care of the pet sitting duties, she also came to visit us and our pets before we left on vacation. Debbie did an excellent job, texting us updates and photos each time she went to our house. For once, I didn't have to worry about my pets welfare while I was away. I will definitely use Natasha and her staff for all of our vacations and will recommend to others.

Natasha looked in on our two cats while my husband and I were away on business travel. She checked food & water, cleaned the litter, and brought in the mail during her visits. If there were any messes, she cleaned them. The house was in perfect condition when we returned home. We're going to use her services next week while we are traveling again. The peace of mind of having our pets at home rather than in a kennel is great. We're very glad to have found Bart & Gabriel Pet Sitting.

We all love Kris, there’s no one else we would trust with our fur babies and our home but her or her affilates. I can go on vacation and actually relax and rest knowing she is loving on my babies as I do. She’s always sending pictures and updates on when they ate and how they are behaving. I am so thankful for her and the love she shares with my fur babies.

Kris is absolutely amazing! Very dedicated and loving towards our sweet dog and was very adaptable to his needs when we changed around his schedule last minute due to surgery. She was super communicative with us the whole time we were gone and took great care of the house and our dog. Would highly, highly recommend Kris!

Kris is beyond the absolute best pet sitter. She watched my 1yo cockapoo for 2 weeks and that pup was exhausted when I got her back. While she watched her I got daily updates and photos to show proof of life. I will use her every time I need a pet sitter. Just know she's in such demand that you need to book early!

She cares deeply about the happiness and well-being of my precious little guy, while making sure he gets his medication on time and still follows the training protocols we’ve worked hard to enforce. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that Pristine Pet Care is worth every penny for the peace of mind Kris’s care provides me and my family!

Kris is amazing! She took the time to meet my dog before beginning walks and discussed what I felt comfortable with (location of walks; treats; leash/harness options). She sends me photos of my pup and really spends quality time with him! I trust her in my home - which is just as important as compatibility with my pup.

I have always been hesitant to leave my 4 year old crazy & loving German Shepherd with someone other than my sister, however, I decided to try after reviews from a friend, and I am so very glad I did. Kris at Pristine Pet Care is our go-to resource to care for our two dogs when our family travels. Not only are they well cared-for, they're happy and get exercise and love spending time with her right in their own home where they're comfortable. Kris goes the extra mile, taking care of whatever is needed around our home as well, giving us total peace of mind. When our flights home were delayed, she stayed to be sure the pups were all set til we could get back. Highly recommend!!

Kris is AMAZiNG with our puppies! They absolutely love her! She keeps them VERY active and is awesome about keeping in touch with us by sending pictures and updates each day. We know we never have to worry when Kris is caring for our dogs why we are away.

My dog Bailey has been going to Cheryl’s since 2010! I could not ask for better service, kindness and flexibility in helping me over all these years. Justin and John have been there all this time and are wonderful with the dogs! My dog loves going and comes home exhausted. Cheryl has been so kind to me helping me with her separation anxiety and always so accommodating. This place is really a family. I also used to bring 2 shelter dogs over on Thursdays for many years. Cheryl's is absolutely fantastic and Cheryl herself is wonderful to work with! I have been going to Cheryl's for the last 6 years and my dogs love everything about Cheryl's. From the moment we get off the freeway, they are excited and they pull me into the building without even looking back. And by the time I pick them up they are tired and happy. I have used Cheryl for boarding many times and trust that they will take incredible care of my dogs in my absence!

I took my 6 month old Toy Poodle Chloe here for her first grooming. I had done my research, called multiple places and decided on Cheryl's. I was a little over an hour late picking her up because my hair appointment went longer then I expected but they were so kind and understanding. Chloe was very happy and looked adorable, they even added a pink bow! I am very pleased with Cheryl's and I already scheduled her next appointment.

Second choice?? How about no choice! Never again! 07/24/2015 Today I took my sweet puppy Rambo to Cheryl’s Doggie Day Care to be groomed. I was so excited because it was so close to home and reviews seemed fine. To my surprise it was the worst experience. Cheryl herself was rude and completely unprofessional along with her employee. It all started with a phone call in the middle of his appointment telling me what a poor condition his coat is in and it is so matted, I as his owner should have taken better care. So she later then called me to say it was time to pick him up and that I needed to come within in the hour, which was a surprise to me because I was under the impression he could hang out til I got off work. She then continued to reprimand me for the way his grooming session went, and what a poor condition Rambo’s coat was. What Cheryl didn’t know is we just returned from vacation and have been having a hard time getting into our normal groomer. So that is why I looked and chose her establishment. Which when I told her this she got a rude tone and said “Well I didn’t know I was second choice” and continued to use that tone with me the remainder of the conversation. So we hung up, and I decided my husband better go pick him up right away because I was completely appalled by the service I was receiving by Cheryl herself. I called back to inform her that my husband is coming to get our dog and to discuss with her my disappointment and unhappiness with her unprofessional attitude and due to that we will not be returning. And her response was” that’s fine… (click)”. Cheryl hung up on me while I was still talking to her! So as my husband shows up he is discussing his displeasure to the employee, not only did the employee have the same attitude and quality of service as Cheryl did but he also referred to his boss, Cheryl, the owner of the business a vulgar name but he did apologized for her attitude. Then my husband was extremely unhappy with the grooming, our sweet puppy smelled like he wasn’t bathed, nails didn’t seem to be trimmed at all and smelled as if he was in a barn all day!! My husband decided we weren’t paying for this service; the employee didn’t argue or complain. He said” Have a nice day”, and as my husband was leaving the employee said” enjoy your free (bleeping) haircut”. Seriously!? Is that the kind of establishment you want to take your pet to? It smelled of barn and pee. My dog seemed very scared and unhappy when he was picked up. And the service was more than less to be desired. If this is the way she treats all her clients I strongly fear for their pet’s wellbeing. I have never been so upset that I felt the need to write a review but Cheryl and her company is an embarrassment and everyone should stay far away. The quality of service and establishment is enough for me to tell everyone I know to never go to Cheryls Doggie Day Care on Trabue Rd in Hilliard, Ohio!!

I started taking my pup to Cheryl's 2 years ago. They are under new management from when my dog started going there, and the new owner and his employees are absolutely amazing with the dogs (you can tell how much they care about them) and have definitely put effort into improving the business. My pup is always so excited to go, and is always very happy and worn out when I pick him up. The gentlemen working there take the time to get to know each dog and the owner, and always give a daily report if you ask. They are very affordable compared to other daycares in the area, and have discounts for teachers, OSU students, and multiple dogs. The only constructive criticism I could give is that it wouldn't hurt if they made an effort to have a bigger online and social media presence to improve the reputation the previous owner left behind because they are no longer what a lot of negative reviews say.

I've been taking my dog Brutus, to Cheryl's as long as I can remember. Brutus knows it's day care day and is very excited to go, he walks right in ready for his play day. He is a very high energy dog but comes home exhausted so I know it's money well spent. The staff is great and they treat Brutus like family. I have also used Cheryl for boarding, this provides me peace of mind to know Brutus is well taken care of when I'm traveling. I love the attention provided to Brutus and he comes home very happy.

I adopted an older dog with separation anxiety from the humane society. She wasn't playful but I was looking for a place to take her, where she had some company during the day and could help her be more confident. That's how I found Cheryl's Doggie Daycare. I still remeber when Justin evaluated her, it was love at first sight for both! Cheryl and her staff treat my girl like if she was their own. 6 years later I still take Baileys to daycare every week and I also use their boarding services many times during the year. I'm a helicopter dogmom and they are always very patient with me. Baileys is always happy when I pick her up. The daycare has great hours, competitive prices, clean facility with excellent equipment, multiple services and excellent customer service. They do crafts with the dogs, and have customer appreciation tokens. Cheryl continually gives back to the community with her involvement in animal wellfare and has comped daycare fees for dogs from different rescue groups, not to mention all the dogs she has rescued. She is selfless and has a heart of gold. A year ago I was fostering a little nervous dog and I couldn't have been as successful as I was without the support from Cheryl and her staff, they are a blessing in our lives.

The guys that run this business have been there for many years and are really great with the dogs. We talk and share stories about how the dogs play and who my dog's friends are every time I pick them up. It's not easy to know who to trust and these guys have my full confidence. My dogs get excited when we pull up to the building and that should tell you all you need to know. The cost is very competitive as well, especially for the attention the dogs get!

I have been taking my dog to cheryls for almost a year now. Prior to going to day care we visited other day cares in the area and cheryl and her crew were the most sociable and most friendly of the day cares. My pup comes home very tired from playing all day. The day care is very clean and over the past week the facility was repainted. You can tell the entire crew cares for each and every dog that attends and you know your dog will be safe. My doggie waits by the door each morning knowing that he is going to see justin or jon to start his day and the gals that work their are also very kind and caring. Cheryl does an outstanding job at making sure the dogs are safe and keeps all her customers her number 1 priority!! Thank you cheryl and crew for all you do
