Sitting for sweet Tinsley while Marilee and John enjoyed their tropical vacation was nothing short of delightful! They are experienced hosts and have everything organized for the ease of the sitters: a fantastic binder with Tinsley’s routines and reference info, a comfortable dedicated bedroom and bath with plenty of space to unpack, and a warm home laid out for both your and Tinsley’s ease of use. They even allowed me to park in their garage, which was so kind.

The neighborhood is a stand-out .. beautiful walking paths and scenery, and friendly neighbors abound.

Tinsley herself is a joy and a very special pup! As a retired Guide Dog for the Blind, she is well trained and accustomed to her routine, which Marilee explained in detail when I visited in person prior to the sit. She enjoys her celery treats (something I now share with other dog parents - fiber, water, sweetness and crunch all in one little package - ideal!!) and simply loves to be with you wherever you are! She slept in her crate in my room and made not a peep all night.

If you are lucky enough to be asked to care for her, please know you must be in tune to her needs, as she is trained not to ask (to be let out to relieve herself, for food, etc). I wanted to make sure she felt assured that I would follow her routines and be responsible for her comfort.

Through talking with Marilee and John, I learned so much about the Guide Dogs for the Blind program and have a new sense of awe for these incredible pups and the people who so lovingly train them! A 10-star experience all the way around!

Sindhuja
Ori and Luna are two adorable Maine Coon kittens. Both are super easy to take care of and are very affectionate. Luna loves to cuddle and be around you, one of cuddliest cats I’ve had the pleasure to look after. Ori takes a little more time to warm up and is such a gentle fellow.

Great company for a comfortable sit. Sindhuja and Barani are a lovely couple, their home is spacious, clean and easy to look after. A great space to work from home with lots of light! They were very accommodating and set us with a clean room and extra food.

Would definitely recommend this sit to anyone!
