It was such a joy to spend the holidays in such a cozy environment, and Percy made it even better with her playful and affectionate nature. Helga and her family made sure I had everything I needed and provided clear instructions to ensure Percy's well-being. I genuinely enjoyed the experience, and seeing Percy happy and content was the best reward. I would gladly house and pet sit again for Helga anytime. Thank you for the fantastic opportunity!
I would highly recommend housesitting for Jon and Julia. Tyrion and Khaleesi are delightful, adorable and easy to care for. Tyrion is a happy, goofy, loving corgi who loves belly rubs and his plush toys. Khaleesi is a well behaved, cuddly Ridgeback. The house and property are beautiful, with plenty of room for the pups to run around. Jon and Julia were friendly, welcoming and communicative. All around a great experience!
Adelle is the best! I never met a cat like her, she has a great personality and made my stay very memorable. She loves "Cat TV" (birds and squirrels on youtube) and reminded me of that quite frequently...(I decided to watch real squirrels from the window and had a blast). I think Adelle might not have been quite satisfied with the birds I picked (color? singing?) and sure wasn't too enthusiastic about me watching Germany play Japan during the World Cup. Otherwise we had a wonderful time together. Hanging out with her in front of the fireplace became our daily highlight. After a couple of days she came to my bedroom in the early morning and made herself comfortable on my blanket. The house is very cozy (the bed was much more comfortable than my own) and I loved being at a place without a lot of "stuff". I could even enjoy a cup of coffee in the sun on the front porch at the end of November. Communication with Betty was very easy before and during the sit. She left great tips on the area: I went to the nearby library three times in 9 days! The bus stop is 5 minutes away, several buses take you directly to the Mall and White House. This was my first sit abroad and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this sit and can't wait to be back.
What a lovely sit! Communication was great from the start and we had an easy handover thanks to Sandra sending an explanatory video in advance. Dillon is the sweetest dog, he may be twelve, but in his head he still thinks he's a youngster! He's great company in and out of the house, enjoying his walks, with lots of exploring and sniffing involved. He does suffer with arthritis, so can't go on long treks sadly, but he does love to go out and he's great in the car! He's so affectionate and loves to lay across you in the evenings while on the sofa - you won't need a water bottle! Sassy is absolutely adorable. Because she stays upstairs, she really does appreciate company, which is no hardship as she loves to be stroked, groomed and have her belly rubbed. Spending time with Sassy was a great way to start and end the day. I found it quite difficult to leave them both, as they're so very gorgeous and I loved spending time with them! Sandra's home is really nice, comfortable and well situated for the supermarket and local attractions. I would definitely recommend this sit.
Would recommend sitting for Kat and Chris! Biggy was so cuddly and made for a great companion over the weekend. Communication was great and the flat was beautiful, cozy, and set up with everything I needed for the weekend/ to WFH.
