Brigid

This is the third time Brigid has cared for our cats and our house, and as always, she did a fabulous job. Our cats, especially Rosie, remember Brigid and are glad to see her. Rosie's feeding can be difficult, and Brigid takes extra care with her and keeps us informed of how she's doing. Emily is very shy, and Brigid knows how to work with her and respect her space. We greatly appreciate that because we know Emily is not hiding the entire time we're away. Brigid also takes great care of the house while we're away. We always return to a clean house, all the mail collected and in one place, and the indoor and outdoor plants properly watered. We are very grateful that we have connected with Brigid and her family members in the local area. We definitely will ask for her to house/pet sit for us again!

Lane

Lane was a fantastic sitter for Bowie. She was reliable, and communicative before, during, and after the sit and left my place just as she found it. She was also incredibly kind to my dog - even taking him to the dog park - his favorite place. I would highly recommend Lane.

We got good vibes from Rebecca from her very first message! She was a great fit to keep our kitties company while we were away. Her communication was great and we got a picture of the cats as a good morning text every day. She did a wonderful job cleaning the space to make it ready for us, and the fresh load of sheets and towels was much appreciated. We highly recommend Rebecca for your future sits and would gladly have her back!

Janice did an excellent job watching EJ and my home while I was gone!! She even stayed several hours beyond as my flight was delayed. Her concern for EJ being left crated that long of a stay was much appreciated.

We are SO thankful Emily came to watch Fetty & Bella! She was communicative, came early to get a walk through of the house, and settled in with the cats right away. She sent photos of the cats cuddling up to her which made us SO happy and was super considerate with them and our space! She left our place cleaner than we left it! We would absolutely recommend Emily to anyone’s fur babies!

Charity

As a first time Housesitters user, I didn’t really know what to expect. That being said, Charity set the bar really high! My home and my pet were taken care of just as if I’d been here myself. She sent pics and videos frequently during our trip. Daisy was having so much fun, I was worried she might want to leave with Charity. They went on walks and nature hikes and played with acorns every morning. And lots of snuggles every evening. Charity organized our mail and packages. cleaned the house, washed the towels and bedding - basically left our home in the same condition we left it. I would highly recommend Charity for a sit and plan on having her stay at our home again in the near future.

What a wonderful experience for us. Our pets are seniors and require a lot of attention and are pretty needy. Amy and Jaime were so loving and patient with our fur babies .. no stress for the animals while we were gone … we would definitely ask them to come back and watch our babies again

Ayesha is a very sweet person but I think she is on the younger side which reflects my concerns that I have listed.  I knew she was young but she had a lot of reviews so I gave her the job, but now looking back I see they are not detailed reviews. Many things did not get done that were on her list of things to do for the dogs and for the house while we were gone. The trash cans did not get taken to the corner for trash day, the mail did not get picked up at all, the dogs were not taken out throughout the day because I discovered many areas of dried poop and pee on the carpet and marble floors throughout the house. We were supposed to return on 8/3 later in the evening and she left a text message that she left the house and put the key under the mat at 12 noon. I immediately texted her because we had plans for the day - spending the day at the OC Fair and now we had to come home early to attend to the dogs. She responded that she took the dogs on an extra long walk so I shouldn't worry.  The house was not as tidy as I left it for her. I'm sure once she matures a little she will be an excellent house/dog sitter.

Jay was amazing.  He took care of Elliot like he was his own cat.  I got lots of photos showing the 2 of them hanging out.  Elliot on Jay’s lap.  Vacation was a joy because I knew all was well at home.  
Jay was easy to communicate with and always prompt.
When I got home, the house was spotless.  Thanks Jay!

Sarah and Scott are MUCH MORE as a couple of wonderful house/dogsitters. They came to our rescue....while unfortunately something has happened to the dogsitters, who were supposed to look after our 2 dogs. Sarah and Scott, did not hesitate a minute; left behind all what they were supposed to do; to do this unexpected dogsit.  It says something very important about their golden personalities. Well, they have been before with us and when I collected them at the station together with our dogs, I could not see them immediately with all the people on the platform, but our dogs dragged me almost towards them, so happy Sasha and Fiona were to see them again. That speaks for itself !!!! (I secretly always hoped that they would come once more).
In my opinion Sarah and Scott only deserve the very best housesits!!! Like months away in a beautiful tropical, interesting area. They are world travellers.  They are very capable of any situation. They looked after our dogs as you only wish...beside that they took such good care of our spanish guests (we have a guesthouse)...they also praised Sarah and Scott!! Thank you so much Sarah and Scott!!!!
