Leah was an excellent housesitter! I cam back to a very clean apartment, a happy pet and some beautiful flowers with a note :) I received updates every few days and she always made me feel comfortable that my house and cat were very well taken care of.

I highly recommend her!

I had a wonderful experience house sitting for Sue and her adorable cat, Mowgli. Sue’s home is absolutely beautiful, filled with lovely plants that create a serene and welcoming atmosphere. Mowgli is a sweet and affectionate cat who enjoys spending time outside, but when he’s home, he loves attention. The entire experience was seamless and enjoyable, and I would happily sit for Sue and Mowgli again. Highly recommend!

We loved our sit for Cam and Peter in Hay-on-Wye. Cam and Peter were the most welcoming hosts, they welcomed us on our first night with a delicious dinner and fun conversations, we felt immediately welcomed and appreciated which was so lovely.

Ozie and Pip were the best dog friends, they were friendly, easy going and very cuddly which we both loved. They were both a delight to go on walks with, they had great recall as they didn't need their leads. They both made us feel very loved and welcome too.

The location of Cam and Peter's home is really amazing, situated in a secluded valley it was so peaceful yet you are 10 minutes drive from the town of Hay with amazing shops and cafes to explore. The garden was a wonderful place to hang out and watch the doves flying around which we spent most of our time doing because it was just so relaxing.

The house itself was comfortable and cosy, there were a few rainy days and it was so nice to relax in the cosy lounge with a book in front of the fire with the dogs next to you.

We could not recommend a sit for Cam and Peter enough! We hope to go back sometime soon to spend time with Ozie and Pip and visit Cam and Pete again!

Thank you for such a wonderful sit Cam and Peter, you are amazing hosts and we loved meeting you both.

I had a wonderful experience caring for Luna in Cochrane. The house is lovely with beautiful views of the city. Luna has great behavior and is delightful to be around. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with her.

We had a great time with Olive and Una, they are super fun and loving pups! They loved to snuggle up on the couch with us and they were very well behaved and easy to look after. Beaumaris is a lovely town, we had a great time biking around and relaxing at the house. Carolyn and Glen were very helpful and easy to communicate with.

Shadow was literally my shadow. It was such a pleasure to have her company. Absolutely melted my heart the first time she decided she wanted to really snuggle on me. After that, she was very happy to continue to warm my knees & legs throughout the stay. She has her routines (but who doesn’t?!) and lives for all things to do with good napping spots, long brushing sessions, exciting games of string chase & hunt, tunnel chilling time & shuffling of toys, adequate water level into refreshed water glass, litter regularly checked & most decidedly she wants enough kibbles so no view is visible of the bottom of the dish (which she would kindly chirp, purr or meow depending on level of completion or level of need in her mind /what needed to be remembered). In fact, she started to find me when microwave, kettle, laundry or dishwasher was complete & I was in the v other room. Seriously another level of kitty smarts! Very endearing the way she communicates & wants to help. She never did sleep on the bed with me but she did come to visit & a lot of times sat guard at the doorway.

She also communicated very strongly with her dislike of her medicine and that I was disturbing her sleep to do so. Her eyes are most expressive. They say way more than her displeased meows. Which truly wore off in 15-60 min depending on how quickly I could actually get her to take her medicine & her willingness to focus on the pink string games, allow me to give her a good girl treat &/or longer brushing. Obviously it’s the right stuff for her health needs, as she got more energetic & friendly as the day & night went on.

The house itself is a very clean, lovely decorated & beautiful large lay out of a space. I enjoyed spending my days there - crafting, window gazing, watching hallmark Christmas movies, cooking & baking. The backyard is literally on the golf course. So I had live entertainment; even on the heavy rain days. There was always golf carts (golfers & maintenance), all sorts of dogs being walked & the changes of the clouds to watch. Beautiful views of the mountains & I was treated to a few lovely sunsets. The neighbourhood is very safe, easy to walk in the day or at night. The stars are fairly bright as you’re far up the mountain in Courtenay & most places have the lights dimmed by 10 pm. I think this is why the owl liked the area too.

Jody & Steve were excellent at communication, leaving plenty of instructions & some really helpful extras to get to know Comox Valley (Courtenay, Comox, Cumberland, etc). There’s major chain shops, stores, restaurants & services in less than 10 min drive (the roads bend a lot otherwise I’m sure it would be under 5 min) but worth the time to go drive around to the downtown areas. There’s lots of unique local businesses too (the voted local favs paper was a huge help identifying those unique finds). I parked my vehicle on their garage pad for my stay & therefore had some nice but brief chats with the adjoining house neighbour & his guests.

Thanks again Jody & Steve. Looking forward to the next sit in 2024 & catching up with the two of you.

Sara and Reza where just amazing right from the getgo. Sara was so kind and so very helpful with all she provided for me. Nothing was too much trouble.
The instructions for sweet little Rocco were very comprehensive and if I needed to know anything she was very quick to respond. It was a very relaxing sit in a very lovely environment.
Many places to walk Rocco and he was my little shadow from day one. I am sorry I am already booked for the next dates to care for Rocco and the apartment.
I would highly recommend this sit to anyone who has the opportunity to look after dear little Rocco and the lovely apartment. Everything was just so nice and comfortable, and the views from the comfy couch day and night were mesmerising.
I do hope I can get back again one day.
Thank you so much Sara and Reza for having me in your lovely home and showing me how to work that absolutely amazing coffee machine, I sure do miss those coffees!!
And Mr Rocco..xxxx
