Miyuki is the most accommodating and understanding host I’ve ever met. Silva is the most gentle and sweet cat. He was definitely shy in the beginning, and it took some treats to get him to warm up to me, but soon, he started coming to me and asking me for food and to play. Miyuki was such a helpful host helping me navigate Japan. I will miss Silva and thank you Miyuki for choosing me and trusting me!
EVERYTHING, we mean EVERYTHING was just perfect!!! 3 cats with 3 different personalities were fun to observe and we were there long enough to figure them out. House was new so all was clean and comfy. New lap pool but weather for us was cool so not able to really enjoy. Screened lanai made it very comfortable to hang outside. Great bike/walking path and area pretty close to all you would need. James and Eileen were very friendly and comfortable to be around. We would definitely recommend and would be happy to return. I really enjoyed my sit with Terra! She’s such a sweetie and has a really cute personality. She listens incredibly well and has lots of energy but is just as happy snuggling. The house is great and very clean and cozy. The backyard is a little haven. Shannon is friendly and really easy to communicate with. I would definitely sit for them again!
Kathy and Rene were perfect hosts. I met them the day before for a walk through as I live in the area part time. Both cats accepted me, thank you boys! The elusive Zorba even let me approach on my first day, unheard of, so I hear. By the second day he had let me rub his belly and from then on we were fast friends. The two of them camped on the bed I slept in the whole rest of the trip. Zorba spent the night perched on the pillow behind my head. All in all easy sit. Plenty of time to do something around town if you are so inclined. If not, it's a quiet neighborhood and you can catch up on your reading. Rene makes beautiful things in his studio and I went home with a lovely walking stick. Thank you!!
I had a very relaxing time. Lilly and Henry were the best well behaved doggos. Lilly was a cuddlebug. Henry was shy but a sweetie. Great views!
I had the opportunity to do this “girls-only” sit watching Cadey (female dog) & Ivy (female cat). Although I was warned that Cadey could be a little bit anxious, she was very calm and a sweetheart. She followed me through the house, whenever I was sitting. Both pets were affectionate and easy to take care of. Gail was a gracious host that provided a detailed info pack, was responsive to my inquires through the sitting, and even left me small basket of goodies and a thank you note. The house is cozy, with reliable internet and a good mix of attractions nearby (at least for my tastes and needs). If the opportunity arises and our schedules match, I will be happy to sit Cadey and Ivy again. I definitely recommend this sit.
