This was another dream sit, Juan welcomed me into his apartment, showed me around the area, introduced me to his favourite restuarants/cafes and owners, which was a blessing as i spoke no Portugese so they were warned in advance. We then had lunch together which gave Ferrer, his dog, time to get used to me. Juans apartment is in a magic location within the walls of Trancoso, with a balcony which overlooks the square. Ferrer is a very well behaved, trained and trustworthy dog and was my best friend while there, we done many walks to the park near by and shared many cafe visits together. He has a beautiful nature and is so easy to look after. It was very hard to say goodbye to Ferrer and he will missed. Overall an excellent sit that was an absolute pleasure to do in this beautiful part of Portugal, with a great Host and loving dog.
Words cannot describe our sitting experience with this amazing home and family. It's a very rare opportunity to meet not one but two incredible people. Karen and Suzie were the best. These generous women have an endless supply of love for their dogs, cats and neighbors. You can read all of their brilliant reviews so I won't be redundant. Herbie is the sweetest doggo who would join us on the bed, we loved that, and Picole is the shy but lovable little guy who tap dances when he sees you. Ms Lulu, Ben and Jerry are the cats of all ages and personalities. They are all very independent and loved to stroll around the gorgeous property with us. Instructions were printed and concise for feeding, meds and schedules. Communication was perfect before and during our stay. We couldn't believe how lucky we were to have met this crew. Suzie and Karen are extremely intelligent and energetic. It was a gift to meet them and forge new friendships. They are so kind and they inspired us with their goodness and spirit. This truly was an extraordinary housesitting experience. Ten stars!
Two adorable princesses in Royal Leamington Spa. Poppy and Maddie are lovely pups who love their cuddles, it might take you time and patience to win them over as they are shy to approach at first. Maddie likes to sniff everything on walks while Poppy is more driven to get you back home once she knows the loop and can sniff her way back home. They chill on the couch or play with each other playfully. They look forward to their pets & cuddles and Poppy would cutely climb on her sofa spots and wait for you to pet her. She looks exceptionally cute waiting for you to pet her. Leamington is a lovely town with great Roman history to explore and have a quiet weekend. Would surely recommend the sit.
