Kelly took excellent care of my cats, Bertie and Jewel. She reported that nervous and shy Jewel even licked her hand! She sent occasional photos and updates about the cats, which I really appreciated, and she emailed/texted me when there were questions. At the end of her stay, Kelly and I had a conversation that was helpful to me, as this was my first zeewoi experience, and I'm still learning how to best welcome sitters to my cats and house. She gave me some excellent ideas about how to streamline the "welcome guide" I leave for folks. I really appreciate her insight as an experienced pet- and house-sitter. It's reassuring to know that she places a priority on pet health and happiness!
Kelly’s home is a wonderful retreat away from the big city. I was fortunate to sit for her for 22 Glorious days and enjoyed every minute. Kelly’s beautiful lake house sits from Canyon Lake which is 45 minutes to an hour from San Antonio. You’ll need a car for this sit. The nearest major grocery store is 20 minutes as well as Planet Fitness, hiking spots, restaurants, and quaint small-town shops. Kelly was responsive to any questions and gave clear instructions on pet and home care. Lainie and Lando are the cutest pups and are so easy to care for. They communicate their needs clearly, especially when they want a walk. They are not fond of meeting other furry friends on walks. Kelly made me aware of this before my stay and shared it in the welcome packet so I was fully prepared. Kelly’s home is clean and comfortable, with beautiful views of the lake from everywhere from the main living area with big windows, the screened-in porch, the master bedroom where I worked and just gazed out at the lake every day, and then there’s the deck with a hot tub that also has a view of the lake. I loved having the use of the hot tub especially after working out and/or hiking every morning. Her home is amidst lush trees where families of deer leisurely graze in the lawns. It’s a nature lover's paradise. The most gorgeous pet sit I've ever had. It was spectacular. Lando and Lainie are so sweet and easy to take care of! 🧡They love to be near you and be loved on. Kelly was so responsive to any questions and loved her energy. She’s very kind and such a sweetheart. Every time I got a text from her I could feel the love and gratitude radiating. I felt very welcome and appreciated here. I eagerly welcome the opportunity to sit for Kelly again.
Cora and Fern are the absolute best! Such sweet lovers and honestly know how to pose photo so dang well! Super responsive, great with people and other dogs :). Curtis and Saphara were super awesome, we loved the opportunity to stay in their space, they were especially welcoming upon arrival. Even gave us some fresh veggies from their garden :) The house is super close to an incredible park that is perfect for walking the dogs to and in. All in all, great experience and would definitely stay again!
We had a great time staying at Murray’s home in Toronto. Lucy and Maggie are both such sweet dogs and we loved spending time with them. They are both senior dogs so spend a lot of time sleeping and relaxing - they are very easy to care for! Lucy is very friendly and loves to be petted. Maggie is also very friendly and loves to follow you around everywhere. They’re both adorable! Murray’s home is very comfortable with off-road parking and is in a great location - a few minutes’ walk to stores/restaurants and bus stops. Murray is very friendly, welcoming and generous. He’d printed out a guide with information about the dogs and house, gave us recommendations on things to do, and was very flexible. We’d love to look after Maggie and Lucy again one day and recommend this sit.
I spent 5 amazing days with Clover. The apartment was comfortable, with everything needed to feel at home. Clover is the most adorable cat I've ever seen in my life. She loves cuddles and won't hesitate to snuggle up to you to sleep. She'll follow you everywhere you go. There aren't many tasks to do because almost everything is automatic (litter box, kibble dispenser). Jess and Mike communicated everything very clearly and were always available when I had questions. Thank you again!
Miss Penny was so much fun! She is a very loving and active friend to hang out with. She loves her ball like a hot dog loves its bun. She is always near, looking for your pets and love. Benji took a couple of days to give me his stamp of approval but after I passed the test, he loved to spend time in my lap. These two are a delight. Heather's home is in a great neighborhood with everything you need walkable or in a very short drive. The home is well appointed, comfortable and a great set up for a work from home situation. Communication before and during the sit was great although it was not really required, as all of the information needed was gathered beforehand and with an information sheet on arrival. Great sit!

He reminded us so much of our own cat♥️♥️. He was no trouble at all. He enjoyed being brushed and was so affectionate once he got to know us. We enjoyed our time in Norfolk. We visited the Sandringham estate and Hunstanton .We had a great time. We would be more than happy to cat sit for Lisa and David again. We are so pleased we found Casa Antigua. We had to return to the UK for a funeral and see my sister who is very ill and we had Flynn our Maine Coon kitten for just two months he was five months and two days old when we put him in Casa Antigua. Thanks to Ingrid and her team for looking after him Ingrid sent me photos every morning this helped so much. He was in the kitten enclosure had lots to play with and jump around on and he was in excellent condition when we collected him also thanks to Mel and Susan for setting up such a good cattery / kennel. We found ourselves in a situation whereby we needed to return to the UK for three months and taking our 2 year old Maine Coon (fur ball called Tuppence) wasn't an option. We were so lucky to find Ingrid and Casa Antigua. We visited first to have a wander around and could tell that this was just the place for our furbaby. Handing our cat over was upsetting but Ingrid was so kind and she has sent us so many pictures of Tuppence's retreat.....only one of us was pining and it wasn't the cat!! If you are looking for the best care for your cats (or dogs) we cannot recommend Ingrid and Casa Antigua enough....and neither can Tuppence :) Pictures of Tuppence at her retreat :)
What a wonderful place! Very well maintained and clean. We left our dog and our cat for the whole summer. They were very happy and looked great when we came to collect them! Ingrid is amazing! She enjoys all the pets and makes them feel loved during owners’ absence. ❤️🐾🐈⬛

My cat loves it here, he doesn't want to leave. Loves the warm cattery and being fed and pampered all day. My dog is nervous and overwhelmed type of dog with kennels. We have tried a few in the area, but Casa Antigua she prefers. She seems to settle down and less nervous and the staff are very helpful

We boarded our dog Eddie for a few days at Casa Antigua. He is a rescue dog and we were a bit worried he might think he had been abandoned again. We did not need to worry at all. As soon as we arrived we knew he would be well looked after and cared for. Ingrid sent us a video of Eddie playing with some furry friends and Mike, a human friend who went out of his way to help Eddie to settle in from the moment he arrived. What a lovely place to leave a beloved pet. Needless to say we would highly recommend Casa Antigua to anyone looking to leave their dog and know they will be in loving hands.
My dogs go here for day care so they are not in the home alone all day. Frank and Jamie offer a safe and secure environment which allows them freedom all day outside in a secure field. Lots of shade and water and interactions with other dogs which is 100% supervised. Happy to recommend to other pet owners. They do 1/2 day, full day as well as overnight and full holiday stays. My dogs run in and always come back tired!
Amazing place for dogs. Jamie and Frank take good care of the animals, they are friendly, calm and the best hosts for our little dog. Left him for a few nights as well as for daycare. He is so happy when he gets there!
Highly recommended. My dog loves going there, and he's even become more sociable because of it! You can also keep an eye on your dog via an Instagram feed. Very reasonable price too.
I can't say enough good things about VIP Dog Hotel. Our dogs come here weekly for 4 years now. Frank and Jamie are wonderful and truly love all the dogs that they take care of in daycare and boarding. Their integrity and love for dogs means we never worry about our dogs in their care. Furthermore, and for me the most important reason, they are specialists in dog behavior. The best place for our dogs to feel at home, away from home! Be sure to book in advance as they are very busy!
Such an amazing holiday location for your beloved pup! Having visited VIP yearly I can honestly say I have never seen any dog hotel more professional, accommodating (the dogs!!!) and relaxed anywhere else. The owners clearly have a huge love for any kind of animal (just take a look at their personal mini farm lol), but the passion they share for dogs is unmatched! With several huge fields for the dogs to run, play, chill in the shade and even jump in the pool, it’s safe to say your dog will have a better holiday than you will lol. The owners have dedicated their lives to the caretaking of all of the doggies staying over, making sure they are comfortable and feel loved, whether it’s just for the day or for several weeks. They go out of their way to post several daily updates on their socials so you can get a glimpse of the 5-star holiday your four-footed bestie is enjoying. I love how they put the well-being of the animals over everything else, guiding them personally throughout their stay. Any limited free time at night the owners award themselves with is definitely earned! Trust me when I say it’s totally worth the wait and snag any opening they have, as they are usually fully booked months ahead! Ps: I personally could do without the geese mafia protecting the grounds 🤪
What a great find. Left my two dogs for a week. When left in kennels it takes them a while to settle back in. Not this time, immediately totally happy. It's amazing to see how all the dogs get on so well together. Frank sent me videos which was so great to see them happy. Truly loved and looked after by doggy lovers. Cant recommend enough, 10 stars. I have been taking my dog to VIP Dog Hotel since they first opened about 3 years ago. It's a fantastic facility that sees everything from the dogs' perspective. The owners, Frank and Jamie REALLY know dogs. The place is always clean, doesn't smell at all doggy, and the best part is the dogs are only in a kennel at night. The dogs spend all day running around and making friends in the huge compounds that are available there. Dogs are carefully placed with dogs that they get along with and they all have a fantastic time. They post 20 videos a day so if you are away, you can check in on your own dog and see for yourself how much fun they are having. This year I took on another dog from a rescue centre. He had been in there for more than 3 years, he was a forgotten soul, we don't know his previous history, but all the indications are he was beaten often, by a man. One , very experienced dog behaviourist said he was the worst case of trauma she had seen in 25 years of professional work. After one year at home and some very valuable education from my older dog, we still cannot touch him, and he needs daily medication. I needed to go abroad for 3 weeks.I was worried that if I didn't do the right thing we might set the dog back from his recovery. I talked with the guys at VIP about him and his special needs, then, totally satisfied that they understood my concerns, I booked him in. They had my trust completely, so when I watched the videos from 12,000 miles away and saw both my dogs playing with the others, wagging their tails and thoroughly enjoying themselves any stress I might have had evaporated. I cannot recommend VIP highly enough. I've owned many dogs over a 40 year period, and this is by FAR the best place I have ever found to take care of my dogs, with love, care and attention, and probably more importantly, intuitive wisdom. They know how to read what the dogs want and need and make sure they get exactly that. Your dogs will thank you for taking them there. Go visit for yourself and see what I mean.
My dogs regularly go Vip dog hotel for day care and they love it! Always excited going in and they can run around and play with all the other dogs and socialize! Jamie and Frank take wonderful care of them- and they are experienced and knowledgeable. I would not leave my dogs with anyone else! In addition their pricing is fair but in fact, far outweighed by the amount of attention given and they could charge a lot more for this standard of care and service! Thanks for all the great work guys.
Absolutely brilliant place for dogs to socialise, they really understand them. One of them is with the dogs at all times and you can see on a video how you dog is doing. They have a great understanding and empathy with all dogs. So lucky I found this place, perfect for doggy day care too.

Great care, great facility and great philosophy resulting in calm, happy, well socialised dogs. Daily video posts and online chats also kept us reassured too ! My Yorkie stayed with Lisa and her dogs for an afternoon whilst I was on holiday in Javea. He was very happy and well looked after and would recommend Lisa.
