Amanda was an absolute delight. She was prompt in her communication with us and even asked clarifying questions when needed. This was much appreciated and even helped us to refine our House Guide. Our two fur boys warmed up to her quickly, as seen through the pictures that she shared with us. We appreciated that she took the time to engage with our boys at their comfort level, even our shyest one, Little. It took some detective work on her behalf, patience and was done in record time. Paula was wonderful all the way around! Both of our Labrador Retrievers, Rip & Huck, really liked her and when we came home it was apparent she had taken fantastic care of them. Paula was always responsive - prior to and during the pet/home sit and kept us up to date. When we asked for a couple photos during our get-away, she happily and quickly provided them. We came back to our home, orchard, and garden looking great just as we had left it. Paula is very endearing, trusting, kind, helpful, and responsible. Melanie was a great fit for us. She was able to come on an earlier day to meet us and get a preview of the sit. She was very communicative and shared photos of the pets day. The house was clean and tidy when she left and even washed the bedding for is. I felt very comfortable leaving the pets and the garden in Melanie’s capable hands.

Cody and Lisa were just wonderful people and took great care of our dog and our house. The communication was great and they left our house nice and tidy. It is clear both Ann and Kenn are genuine animal lovers. They had pre-booked accommodation in Chiang Mai for a month however they were keen for some pet company so moved out of their condo temporarily to look after my crew over the Christmas period! I appreciated the time they took for the pre-sit handover and they asked lots of good questions. They won over Maia within 24 hours and I was treated to daily photos/videos of a very happy cat. Despite limited experience with looking after pet rats, Ann went above and beyond to provide them with a clean cage and gourmet meals! The condo was well looked after and spotless on my return. The communication prior, during and after the sit was good too. I would highly recommend them to look after your pets and home.

Clare, in all ways, is a delightful, dependable, dedicated, house-sit, pet-care person. Our animals love her. They are calm and secure when we return and we can see (from the many photos she sends) how happy they are (inside, outside, and even sleeping on the bed with her). / Clare makes it a point to visit us prior to, and after, each time she sits for us. She is an exceptional communicator. / Our house is clean, the plants watered, and everything is in good order after she been there. It is with a great sense of confidence we call upon her to sit.

Kyle, Brenda and Gavin were punctual and flexible, able to come a day early to give me time to show them around before I left. We had a picnic dinner together and they were very easy to get along with. When I got home the house was just was how I left it, and their son Gavin has formed a bond with my dog Nick, asking to visit when in town. I would definately have them stay again.

Jessica and Jeremy were a delight to have in our home to look after our dog and cat for the week. They were super friendly and warm, and we hit it off straight away. They absolutely adored the pets and looked after them so so well. The house was beautifully tidy and clean when we got home and they kept us informed of how it was all going throughout the week. I would thoroughly recommend these lovely people to look after your home and fur babies!

Alayna

Sibi was a very easy cat to sit for. Benu was stubborn and standoffish at first, but eventually I cracked the code of getting him to walk with me, and we became good buddies. Alayna was very generous, though there were times when she was inconsistent about her expectations regarding Benu or backhanded in her remarks, and I got the impression she didn't respect my time when we were making arrival arrangements. There was also an indoor camera, which I didn't mind at first, but I later learned is against THS policy. Alayna mentioned the time of day that she saw me walking Benu on her outdoor security camera, and I couldn't help but wonder if she was monitoring me. Lastly, Alayna has a very nice house with a lot of great amenities in a well-to-do neighborhood in the hills that was a joy to stay at.

I really enjoyed this sit - Alyssa and Toby have a beautiful home and the most friendly pups. The house is extremely well-equipped and comfortable, in a quiet but accessible neighbourhood in Calgary. Jersey and Dodge were both well-behaved low-maintenance dogs who loved being around people. Alyssa and Toby provided very clear instructions and are very trusting, hands-off hosts. I highly recommend this sit to anyone looking to spend some time in Calgary!
