Lori was an absolutely amazing pet/house sitter! She was kind enough to arrive early so that we could have time to get to know her and that the 3 dogs had time to get comfortable with her. She jumped in and had the routine down right away. It’s clear that she’s had extensive experience with a wide variety of animals. We left for vacation without a single worry about our pets or our home. She was super responsive and even helped us out of a personal “pickle” while we were away. We couldn’t have been more thankful. Lori left the house in immaculate condition and went above and beyond what we expected her to. All the pets, and our home, were well loved and taken care of in our absence. It was great getting to know Lori, and I hope we’ll have the opportunity to have her here again!
We really enjoyed taking care of Rexy. He is calm and super adorable, always wants to be around you and likes attention. Rexy has to take medicine, but it's not difficult with him, he likes to guess in which hand you have the ham (with the pill). He listens well and walking with him is easy as he doesn't pull. He likes to run in the park off-lead, behaves well, sniffing around and sometimes wants to make friends with other dogs. When we applied for the petsitting, we had a call with Christine and Andrew. They are nice people, very friendly and welcoming. Thomas had the opportunity to share a pleasant coffee moment with them when they came back from their trip, offering to stay for coffee. They gave us clearly all the important information and reassured us that Rexy is an easy-going dog. They had also filled in all the petsitting guide in the app, it was useful when we needed to look something over! The house is big, lovely with a nice sea view and located in a beautiful area. You can find different cafes when going for a walk! We absolutely recommend this petsitting as we were really happy for this opportunity! Thank you again !!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at their house. Everything was great - Jo was very generous, the two dogs and two cats were lovely and the house and area were magnificent. Given the chance, I would love to return for another visit.
Sarah and Bob are so kind and welcoming. They have a beautiful home and gated property in a quiet neighborhood. They were super thorough with instructions so we felt completely comfortable knowing what the cats and home needed. And whenever we needed to reach Bob or Sarah, their responses were nearly immediate, even though they were in a different time zone. They allowed us to use their bikes, so we explored the area and came upon a wonderful organic farmer's market (on Sundays) about 7 minutes from their house. The kitties are friendly and accepted us right away. They're low-key, except at 5:30 AM when they're hungry. :)
We loved our time at Marlfield Barns - it is in a really beautiful part of the world. Cornelia and Mike made us extremely welcome. Frank and Seamus are a joy and happy to be out and about with you exploring the area or local fields. We would love to return if ever there was a chance. Thanks heaps
This was our first pet sitting and we absolutely loved every moment of it! Shai is such a charming and sweet dog! It's so easy to take care of him and behaves excellent! We needed to be with him at all times and that wasn't a problem at all. Had the chance of going to cafes and restaurants and had no trouble with bringing him as most of these places are pet friendly. Marcelle and Robi were very helpful and nice with us. Robi guided us with some things we could do around town and Marcelle was always there if we had any questions. Her apartment is very cozy, well equipped and she left very clear instructions on how to feed Shai, give his medicines and take care of him in general. We miss Shai so much already!!
