We enjoyed our time in Tunbridge Wells and Fingal was adorable. Jayne and Simon were very hospitable upon our arrival and it was lovely getting to know them over dinner before they headed off on their break. Their home is in easy walking distance from the town centre and surrounding parks / woods. We walked a lot during our sit and Fingal was with us every step of the way. He is very well behaved when out and about and receives a lot of compliments from passers by. Jayne and Simon have a large home with a fully secured back yard which Fingal loves to play ball in. We would not hesitate to recommend this sit to others.
Ahhh, Bruce Wayne aka BatDog is a very smart, gentle, elegant and can be very sleek (fast & energetic) Border Collie mixed with puppy eyes that knows how to use it to get extra treats combined with his adorable yips/yaps (better bring your communication decoder ring). Best way to describe BatDog yips/yaps is like that of the Groot character from Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy, making one sound but can mean 1001 things depends on the situation. That’s BatDog yips/yaps for y’all, all depends on the situation and it can mean different things. I find it HILARIOUS is because, BatDog is the first dog I’ve encountered to yips/yaps in such a unique ways. :0) BTW, I personally like to take BatDog on long walks is because he can be very energetic and need to find ways to disperse all those energy BUT since BatDog got that herding DNA in him, BEWARN, he will start walking behind you 50%+ of the time, thinking he’s herding a sheep (the walker becomes the walkie). One will get used to it, I sure did so I let BatDog do his herding. LoL The home, beautifully decorated bungalow with a very elegant style. Super tidy, clean and neat. Very cozy & comfortable and was great for my creativity when working on my projects while BatDog Zzzzzz by my side from time to time. Had the opportunity to meet the family adorable one year old baby. He is a super ADORABLE baby if your get the opportunity to see him SMILE after waking up from his nap. Beautiful home, nice town, good weather, smart dog and a super cozy place to house/pet sit. What more can one asked for. Highly recommended!!
This is a dream house sit! Gertie and Einie are absolute sweethearts and a joy to take care of. They have different personalities but are both affectionate and gentle. They get along very well with each other and will keep you entertained when they play with the laser and hair ties. Feeding and taking care of them is straightforward. Sam provided a comprehensive Welcome Guide with great restaurant recommendations and neighborhood details. She walked me through all the pet and plant care instructions when I arrived. Sam is an amazing host. She is super generous and made me feel welcomed as soon as I met her. She went above and beyond to make sure that I enjoyed my stay in Mexico City. Her home is beautifully decorated, clean, fully equipped and is in a safe and walkable neighborhood. She is an excellent communicator and was also quick to respond to my messages. I highly recommend this sit and would absolutely love to stay with Gertie and Einie again!
Tina and Alice, Thank you so much! We enjoyed our stay and loved getting to know Tina and win her over :-) Alice greeted us with a clean house and wonderful organic food to get us started. Tina was no problem to take care of and Alice gave great instructions and video to show us how to make her food and care for her, which was great to take out any questions we would have had. Alice is very good at communicating before and during the sit. La Rochelle is a lovely town and easy fun walk into town or very short 5 min drive. markets are nearby and a lovely bakery. We enjoyed sitting out on the sunny deck and seeing all the birds in the estuary next door. Quiet and easy location to get in and out with gated parking which we really appreciated. Thank you again
This was a great housesit and Sophie aka Piggy/Piggles made my Christmas very special. She is a real sweetheart to look after, chilled, affectionate, well behaved, easy on the lead and just a snuggle bunny most of the time. She is great on walks but due to a negative experience in the past can be a little unpredictable when meeting other dogs. Just be sure to take some treats as this is a good distraction!!! Anna is such a lovely, warm and kind person and from the first time we communicated I was confident that this pet sit would go very well. Anna was more than generous leaving me treats, wine and Christmas gifts. She has a very cosy barn conversion and with all the lovely decorations made Christmas a real treat for me. She kindly picked me up and dropped me off at the train station and took me shopping to stock up on food for Christmas and New Year. For some sitters who like to see more of the local hot spots and villages or shopping in Alton a car would be very beneficial, although I was very happy with my daily walks with Piggles as the countryside is beautiful with many public footpaths just minutes from the cottage. Couldn't have asked for a more relaxed time with a super cuddly canine companion so, many thanks Anna for giving me the opportunity to spend time with the gorgeous Piggles. I feel I have made two good friends in meeting you both and look forward to staying in touch in the future.
Fantastic communication, gorgeous house (hallway being renovated but wasn’t a problem) and of course not forgetting Zoe, a very sweet cat it was a pleasure to spend time with. It was our first time in Hastings and we loved it, the local area was buzzing and we had great food and met some interesting people. Camber sands not far away, had a lovely day out there. Would highly recommend this sit!
