Rachel's house was the 1st one I house sat for, in the UK, and let me tell you she truly set the expectations high for all the following house sits I booked. Her and her family were amazing, very welcoming, polite and caring. Always making sure I had everything I needed and always making sure I understood everything. Don't even get me started on their pets, Hoagy was playful and full of energy. And their cats for sure turned me into a cat person. Truly can't express how grateful I am for meeting them and getting to spend time with them and their pets. Anyone would be extremely lucky to house sit for Rachel & Danny.
Super cute, affectionate and very well-behaved dog. Excellent when out walking. Cat is also very sweet and loves being stroked. The house is fabulous! The area is lovely with beautiful walks. The pub nearby serves great food and the staff are very friendly. I thoroughly recommend this sit.
We absolutely loved Maja's family home. Betty is a real character and always kept us company around the house. We enjoyed taking her around to her favourite spot Richmond Park which is less than a 10 minute walk from the house. Drake and the fish were easy to care for. Maja was very hospitable (very kindly letting us use their food) and has a lovely home. Maja also left us helpful recommendations for places to visit in the local area. Thanks again, we are already missing Betty!!
This sit with Molly and Elsa was such an enjoyable one. I would not hesitate to sit for Suzanne again. Molly was a lovely sweet dog always wanting company and stayed very close to me - a social and playful dog. Elsa the cat was a bit less interactive and managed to be more illusive but was still home bound every afternoon for her dinner! Suzanne was very hospitable and made everything very easy and streamlined for me. I really enjoyed my time at this sit and are so pleased to have been given the pleasure of Molly’s company for all that time.
This was a DREAM housesit, beginning with my first conversation with Jim right up until the end. Everything was absolutely perfect, from their beautiful, well stocked home to their awesome animals to their amazing location with nearby hikes, parks, shops and great restaurants/cafes. Bear was such a joy to take on our daily afternoon outing to the local park and all the other hikes and parks we found nearby. He’s so well trained and also so lovely and sweet. The cats warmed up to me after a couple of days and I’m sure you’ll fall in love with them too! They all have their own unique personalities and are a breeze to take care of. I’d highly recommend this sit and can’t wait to return when I’m back in the area.

I can’t imagine my dogs having a better time with anyone but Elliott. He is timely, communicative, and professional. He treats all the dogs like they are his own. My two pups are always so excited to see him and their friends and they come home happy and tired from days running around the parks of Amsterdam. Rain or shine, Elliott always is cheerful, warm, and welcoming riding through the city to pick up and drop off the dogs in the bakfiets. I have absolute trust that my dogs are always being safely looked after whether it’s daycare or overnight stays. The Dog Haus is the best service and value I’ve ever experienced!
FRENCHIES RECOMMENDED (AND NOT ONLY) Our 3yo French Bulldog Otto has never been far from us, he is a special guy, he loves every dogs and humans but he is also selective, starting from food, dress, habits.. Elliott, The Dog Haus pack leader is awesome, just unique, so professional but the most important thing is that he is so full of love and gives Otto a huge amount of snuggles and scratches and he never gets enough. When Otto is with Elliott we know that he feels safe in the pack and very proud and happy to be part of it!(he is even more diligent). Obviously Maggie and Levi are the real bosses, you can have a lot of fun with them but first you need their approval..and he got it! He always send us videos of our doggie having so much fun in the pack and that makes our days easier. Otto's favorite moment is when Elliott comes to pick him up! He had and still having the best daycare we can ask for him!
Best dog walking service in town. Elliot is so brilliant with my pup. Having a meet and greet before hand was a lovely way to see how my pup would react to the other dogs. Elliot takes time to really get to know the dogs and my dog is always very happy after a day at the dog haus. I have also noticed that my dog is becoming a lot more social with other dogs which is a massive plus.
While The Dog Haus already has a great reputation, meeting Elliot in person reassured us that our pup's going to do well under his care. We've taken Haku to doggy daycare twice so far, and both times he seemed to have really enjoyed spending the day with Elliot, judging from a noticeable spring in his steps in the same evenings. Elliot would also post IG stories throughout the day so we can check in on how our pup's doing, so that really made us feel reassured. Overall, it was a great experience working with Elliot at The Dog Haus, and we definitely would bring Haku in on a regular basis, both to continue socialising him and get him used to being handled by people other than us, especially when we get busy.
Elliott is fantastic with our dog Stella. Two times a week Stella is picked up by bak fiets and spends the day at the Haus. She comes back exhausted (a hard feat for a beagle). Sometimes Stella stays over night and Elliott is incredibly flexible and easy to work with. Stella loves the Haus but we love the Haus just as much!
The Dog Haus is our go-to for our adopted cocker spaniel, Lola. Elliott is reliable, responsive and always accommodating. We especially appreciate the availability for pick-up/drop-off directly at our home and the frequent social media posts so we can check up on our pup during the day. Lola is shy and anxious, but we’ve really seen her come out of her shell and gain confidence around other dogs since she’s been attending day care on a regular basis. A day at the Dog Haus is a guarantee that your dog will come home with a wagging tail and ready for a nap!

I don’t know how I would have been able to manage moving to Amsterdam with my dog without Elliott and The Dog Haus. Right after I relocated, I had to go on a work trip for a week and Elliott watched Mari. He did a trial overnight before I left, sent updates throughout the week and trained her to ride in the bakfiets. Mari now goes to the Dog Haus twice a week for daycare, and seeing Elliott and Mari greet each other in the morning warms my heart every time he picks her up—he is so sweet with her! Nana’s home is THE best place to take care of you dog/cat! I super recommend them! They have been pet sitting my dog for 4’years now and they always do it with so much care and love. Our cat Maggie never really liked staying at a cat pension. It stressed her out, and she'd often come home scruffy and anxious. Looking for an alternative, we came across Steven from Creature Comforts Pet Sitting, and we couldn't have been luckier. From the first interaction, Steven was always quick to respond, accommodating, and transparent. Before the cat sitting period, we had a first meeting to provide the keys for the apartment, and for Steven to meet Maggie. Maggie, being a former stray, is usually pretty shy around strangers, and didn't really approach Steven during the first meeting. From Steven's first visit onwards, though, Maggie became super affectionate, approachable, and relaxed. We got daily updates on Maggie, plus a photo and sometimes a video. Steven took the time to give Maggie plenty of pets, brush her, or play with her during his visits. Even when we had a special request such as an earlier visit on a certain day, or watering our plants, Steven was more than happy to accommodate. In addition to the wonderful service, Creature Comforts' daily rate for a 20-minute visit is hardly more expensive than any nice cat pension in the Amsterdam area. Plus, your cat gets to stay in her familiar surroundings, and can stay much more relaxed that way. We are incredibly happy with the level of service, kindness, and attention to detail at Creature Comforts. Steven took wonderful care of my bunny while I was away! He was very conscious and attentive to her needs (especially on a particularly hot summer day), and I felt at ease knowing she was being cared for with love. Steven was very professional and communication was great with daily updates and photos. Creature Comforts is now my go to pet sitter!
Amazing business, Steven provided fantastic care to my 3 cats while I was away. He came everyday and send me photos and videos to reassure me the cats were doing well. This is a wonderful business run with care and love. The owner is thoughtful, attentive, and communicative. He is incredible with cats and dogs. His calm demeanor helped our old cat (20 years old!) to feel comfortable and safe. He sent us pictures and videos each day he visited her and checked in to make sure we returned home from our travel, showing his own personal concern over our cat and her return to us. When we met with him to get our home keys back, he was generous with funny stories about our cat and with tips for the neighborhood (we were new!). We are very thankful for this service and will unquestionably return next time we need someone to take care of our old cat.

I was very happy when a friend told me about these petsitters because I only want the best care for my cat. David and Cassandra came to meet me and Flora a week before I was leaving and really took the time to get to know Flora and understand all her needs. I had only adopted her a few weeks previously so was a bit concerned about going away so soon after that, but she'd settled in well and I was just going for 4 days at Christmas, which had already been booked. Cassandra was fantastic, sending me updates and pictures twice a day. Videos were more difficult because Flora is super speedy when playing! When I returned she was happy to see me, but clearly very relaxed. I won't hesitate to use this service again and would highly recommend it.

Amsterdam Pet Sitter did a beyond excellent job sitting my 2 (very pampered) cats. My cats have trauma and don't react well to many things, including strangers. They worked with me and the cats, with additional meet and greets to ensure that the booked sit would go well. My cats need an emotional support human and someone to give them medicine. This was no issue for Amsterdam Pet Sitter. I got regular updates whilst I was away, including pictures showing how relaxed my cats were. This allowed me to relax whilst away, not needing to worry if the cats were ok or stressed. I look forward to working with and booking Amsterdam Pet Sitter for my future trips.

I travelled first time to Amsterdam with my dog Winston. While it was great traveling to this dog friendly city, I wanted to take few hours and visit museums. My hotel concierge introduced me to Dave and Cassandra for pet sitting service. They are both very nice and reliable. They took great care of Winston while I was gone. I would definitely contact them next time when I return!
I recently used Amsterdam Pet Sitter to take care of my cats. As a pet owner, you’re always a bit nervous when someone new takes care of your babies. But David made sure I got an update every day on how they were doing! He even made sure to tell me if there were certain details, like how the cats were feeling. Our dogs always get so excited for hotdog house. Every time they come back they are so content and tired from all the playing. It is really cute to see The staff are absolutely amazing and really care for all the dogs. Amber especially has been amazing. The team also post a lot of stories on Instagram so we are able to see what they are up to. It has also taught our dogs a lot about how to socialise and play with other dogs.
HotDogHouse has brought our 8.5 year old giant dog joy. He has learned to play with other dogs, loves running, but can also find a quiet corner to chill and rest. HotDogHouse Expert Trainer Amber has helped our new puppy with intro consultation, meet & greet, trial day, trial month & extra classes to learn to meet dogs. All of these steps guided us and made our puppy comfy. During the day, check HDH Instagram for photos and videos of our dogs running, playing, resting and making friends. That’s comforting. Not all dogs like all dogs, but HDH has experience, training and patience to keep all of them safe and find the right matches & groups for the day. It’s an amazing place with even more amazing people who care about your dog and look for solutions for your dog’s weird habits and quirks. That’s the best feeling and why we stay at HotDogHouse.

I have been sending my dog, Max, to Hotdoghouse's daycare for a couple of weeks now and it's been a life changer. Max is 2 years old, and since he's a working breed mix, he has A LOT of energy. Ever since he started going to daycare, he's much happier and tired. He usually has some fear-based reactivity when walked on leash, but now, he's calm and relaxed 90% of times we go on walks. I also love seeing what he's up to while he's there, which can be easily done by following Hotdoughouse on Instagram. Honestly, it's been a great experience so far. Highly recommend!
Liselotte and her team are absolutely fantastic. They have welcomed my dog since she was 4 months old and she has made SO much progress on her socialisation and separation anxiety. Even walking now in a dog park feels a breeze as she is used to be surrounded by other dogs and she is friendly and not reactive. Also, I see the she has learned at hot dog to approach other dogs with calmness and that after playing for a while is OK to stop and mind her own business. She has also learned to be more resilient to noise, loud sounds and dogs barking. She notices those things but don’t get reactive anymore. She comes back at home very tired and dirty, but it’s a sign that she had so much fun there and mental stimulation. I think it’s an important experience for a dog, especially a puppy. Once a week for us has been very useful as we could go to the office and pick her up on our way back home. Highly recommend!
If you're looking for a place to take your furry friend while you're at work or running errands, I highly recommend this place! We’ve been taking our dog, Kiki, there for a few weeks now, and we have nothing but positive things to say. Our dog absolutely loves it there. She gets to play with other dogs, go for walks, and even chill. By the time we pick her up at the end of the day, she's usually pretty tuckered out - in fact, she sleeps all night! Another thing I really appreciate is how easy it is to keep up with what our dog is up to. The staff posts pictures and updates on social media throughout the day, so you can see exactly what your dog has been up to. It's great to see her having so much fun and getting lots of exercise. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotdoghouse to any dog owner who wants to give their furry friend a fun and safe place to play while they're away. It's been a game-changer for us and our dog, and we are so glad we found this place!
THE best dog hangout in Amsterdam! Hotdoghouse was everything we were looking for...great outdoor space, all day and over night dog care, fun trainers, easy booking system via app, member benefits...and the biggest thing of all- a happy dog who comes home every day calm and fulfiled. We LOVE Hotdoghouse, and so now we are bringing our lovely doggo there at least 3 days a week. Perfect for when you are working in the office, and want peace of mind for your doggy. Prices are reasonable, one day dogcare for members is nearly the same as a single dog walk for most walkers. So...its easy to see why now this is our favourite choice. Thanks Hotdoghouse for helping solve all our dog needs! We just say the word 'hotdoghouse' and our doggy is already hopping out of the door!

good place for dogs, friendly staff, there is a service for finding a pet sitter, but it still doesn't work very well. I was bitten on the hand by a strange dog, scratched my hand until it bled, when I came to pick up my dog, the staff, nor the dog's owner did anything about it.
Naysa is great. I’ve used her twice now and will continue to use her service. She really cares about the pets. When she noticed one of my cats didn’t finish her food she pinged me immediately. She took careful notes of what my cats needed and ensured they were properly taken cared of. And I love the daily updates and pictures. Overall, I feel comfortable my cats are taken cared of when I’m away.

I’m always happy to know that my dogs are staying with Naysa and her husband! She loves dogs and my dogs love her. She also sends me pictures and videos regularly so that I can see how everything is going. I recommend Petzz Life 100%!!

I love Petzz Life and all the service they provided . I’ve moved to US from Europe and worried that I will never find someone to take care of my dog like they did. I could totally relax when on trips knowing that my baby boy was being taken care of. Everytime dropped him there he was like taking a summer camp, coming home super happy. Luciana is the best care you could wish for your cat, and our cat Poes was so happy to have her around. We received so many sweet and funny photos and videos. The daily reports were not only interesting to read but also helpful in getting a professional opinion
Luciana is wonderful! From the first time we met her, we could tell how much knowledge and care she has for cats. We felt extremely comfortable leaving our three with her when we left on a trip. She provided thorough updates (with pictures) every day. When we returned home, we could tell our cats enjoyed their time with her. She played with them, gave our social cats lots of attention, and was patient with our more shy cat. She took the time to get to know each of our cats and their needs. Luciana is the best cat sitter we have worked with, and we are happy to have found MultiCATsking's services here in Amsterdam.
It’s always stressful to deal with leaving your household member alone but Luciana never fails to make the whole experience as easy as possible. She’s not only very knowledgeable about cat behavioural issues but also shows great care and best interest in their well being. She’s extremely trust worthy, very transparent and the photos and videos make the separation way more bearable :) whenever I have to leave, I know my cat is always in best hands and treated with love as if I were there and experience that I might be lacking, I feel like Luciana always has a very individual approach to him and provides everything that’s necessary for when I’m not there’s and more, I’d definitely recommend her to anyone who’s struggling with trust issues due to their cat’s specific needs or behaviours! They will get the best care possible and you’ll be able to have a peace of mind knowing they’re in great hands :)
Luciana is an absolute hero, I can’t recommend her enough. She is incredibly caring, professional, organised and reliable. Her knowledge means she is the only person we would trust with our two cats who have had some recent challenges with anxiety and aggression between them - they aren’t easy but Luciana is so patient and caring. The cats have even improved in some behaviours after they spend time with her due to her dedication of playing with them and keeping things amicable! Luciana took great care of our cats! We were really happy to see how much care she took of them while we were away, and she shared lots of notes/photos to indicate how they were doing. She even came up with a way to give our one cat medication that he doesn't mind at all. Luciana definitely has cats' best interest at heart.

She gave us also good advice in how to better the situation for our cats , like more drinking bowls and different cat litters box , she knows ! Luciana is an absolute gem and I can't thank her enough for taking care of my 3 years old fur baby Tartine.
