We are so grateful to have found Kendra and Jabari to watch our senior cat, Squiggles. Squiggles is 21 years old and requires some extra care, so I tend to get a bit anxious when leaving her. But we were able to take a long, international trip and felt like Squiggles was in excellent hands the entire time. Kendra was extremely communicative, and would give updates every day. I could tell that Kendra really bonded with Squiggles because when we got home, Squiggles didn't want her to leave! Sometimes on this site, you find sitters who love animals, but travel is their top priority. In this case, I could see that spending time with a pet was just as important, if not more so, to Kendra, which meant a lot. I would recommend her to anyone and hope to have her care for Squiggles again!
We had the BEST week looking after beautiful Lucy and Sheba. Ruth and Jeff left really clear information for us, lots of tips & recommendations for the area and showed us around the house so we were comfortable before they left. Their house is wonderful, full of personality and character and you can tell it’s a very loving home. Lucy and Sheba were absolute angels. They’re both so well behaved, loving and very chill - we missed them a lot when we left! We would highly recommend sitting for Ruth and Jeff, their hospitality was extensive and we had an amazing time with the girls.
This was our first house pet sit, Louise and her mum welcomed us into their fabulous modern home and we all had dinner together in the garden. We felt very comfortable there and the neighbourhood is accessible. They introduced us to "the girlies" and Jack the magnificent cat. All full of character and sweet personalities. For walks there are great local forest areas where all four dogs go together on and off the leads. They travelled well in the car together too! Two dogs did miss their owners at night times but otherwise they loved our attention, being fed and belly rubs (especially Bella!). We thank Louise for the stay, her excellent communication and Magda (cleaner) was also a great helping hand! We'd love to visit again in the future!
Talking care of Dimok was a joy! He's a sweetie - loves to snuggle, and he's good on walks. The house is super comfortable and amazingly located, too. I was able to explore all of the town of Guanajuato by walking. Gretchen and Alex were really sweet and responsive the whole time I was there, so I felt supported through the whole trip. 10/10 would stay there again :)
I thouroughly enjoyed my sit for the pet owners in Sugarland! The pets were so much fun, I love it when a cat gets along so well with a dog, and Stitch the chinchilla was a soft charmer. Lesley was very communicative and made sure that my stay was smooth and comfortable. The home was beautiful, I spent a good part of the time swimming and cooking outdoors. I would definitely stay again for this wonderful host family.
We had an enjoyable time doing the house sit for Frippy and Harry. They have a lovely home with plenty of space for three super dogs. We had the chance to meet them before the sit which made things so much easier. The dogs were exactly as described in the welcome pack and gave us no problems at all. There are great views around the house and loads of walking around fields or on quiet country roads. We loved our time here and can highly recommend this sit.
We had the most wonderful time housesitting in magical Manique do Intendente. Tony and Jeanne are incredibly warm, genuine, and all around great people. We really enjoyed spending a late afternoon/evening getting to know them before they departed the next day. We enjoyed dinner with them and took a stroll around town together with Toby, and they told us everything we needed to know about the sit. Toby is a dream to care for and be around. He’s a well mannered, intelligent dog. He loves his walks, and we really enjoyed the daily excitement he showed before and during them. Toby is curious, loving, and happy out just sitting by your side. We genuinely miss our time with Toby. Tony and Jeanne’s place is a hidden gem. The outdoor patio area is beautiful, with a garden of lovely plants and flowers. The house is sparkling clean, really comfortable, and has a great spacious kitchen for those who love to cook. Manique do Intendente is a truly special place. It’s a small, authentic Portuguese village. We really loved the slow pace of life here, walks with Toby through town and in the vineyards, and getting to know the locals. If you don’t have a car, there is a great farmers market three times a week, a few shops where you can get all the basics, a lovely bakery, and a few great cafes/bars, all within very short walking distance. If you do have a car, there's a lot to explore in the areas nearby. We really loved everything about this house sit and would highly recommend it to anyone considering it.
