It was so lovely to have Andrea here to care for my home and cat. When I got home everything was clean, organized, and she thoughtfully left a note and welcome home treat. So happy to recommend Andrea to anyone and would gladly have her back here as well!!
A delightful house and garden which we would love to return to, but do note that it is a good 20-30 minutes walk across fields to the nearest small village (and up hill back!) so a car is most definitely needed. Dylan and Floyd were friendly and easy dogs. This was only a 4 day sit so we kept them on the leads when out as we weren't too sure of their recall and there were a lot of fields with livestock in. It wasn't a problem, just reassuring for us and the local farmers alike. The boys liked coming out in the car and particularly liked a trip to the beach about 25 minutes away. Floyd is a great cuddler and Dylan loves to bring you his blanket. There are excellent walks right from the doorstep and Gill and Geoff kindly left some helpful maps and information. They also kindly gave us a meal the night before they went. The house is a real "chocolate box picture" large cottage set in a beautiful garden with stunning views and absolute peace and quiet. It's on a hillside so best for the sure footed. It has low beams and sloping ceilings. One of those sits I hate reviewing because we really don't want to share it with anyone else! We look forward to returning and staying longer as we have only scratched the surface of places to go in this lovely area. Thank you Gill and Geoff for the opportunity!
