Amy and Danny were Great! We had lots of contact before, during, and after they watched my dog, Nellie. They were willing to come to my place early in the morning so we could walk to all of Nellie's favorite places like the Vet, the Groomer, and everywhere he gets treats. They took him for lots of walks every day and were very understanding when Nellie came down with a hot spot three days before I left for vacation. They gave him his pills and took him for several treatment baths - more work than they had planned for. They were also very tolerant of his old-dog issues and gave him all the love he wanted. Absolutely great team! I hope they can come back again!
Tigger and Roscoe were great mountain companions. Working from the house, I did find it helpful to take them on a short walk in the mornings to help calm energy during the day, plus the views are absolutely gorgeous - so it was a great way to start the day! Krista’s communication was excellent, the appliances absolutely fabulous for cooking in! And the house was mountain cozy! Tigger is the best cuddler and Roscoe the port Tigger and Roscoe were great mountain companions. We can honestly say Piper is one of the most delightful pouches we have care for. Credit is given to Deb and Dave for her good behaviour, she really is superb! We loved taking her for walks as she is excellent off leash and so enjoys chasing the ball. She is very friendly with other dogs and humans on the beach, although she is just as happy to ignore any distractions and keep an eye on her ball. She is content with sitting on her bed on the balcony or on the couch in the evenings. She likes her toys, watching geckos 🦎, enjoys being brushed and welcomes a rub on her rump. She is extremely easily to please. The home is very comfortable with gorgeous views, a great kitchen and there is lovely paths with nature reserves near the home. Deb and Dave were fantastic with communication and made us feel very welcomed and relaxed. We will truly miss this precious time with Piper and we would love to see her again in the future. We highly recommend sitting for Deb and Dave.
I recently the pleasure of spending 2 weeks in Malpas with Pickle and Chase- two extremely friendly and very well trained Labs. I thoroughly enjoyed taking them for long walks/runs as they are so well behaved off the lead, interact playfully with other dogs and always seem find muddy water! Pickle is an affectionate young girl, full of energy and always eager to please. Chase is older, more chilled out but will cover you with licks if given the opportunity - he also pulls the funniest expressions. Nicky and Pete are a lovely couple and were attentive during my stay, answering any queries I had. Their house provides a wonderful space to relax and Malpas is a beautiful place to explore. I would highly recommend this sit as per the previous reviews!
Kate and Steve were amazing hosts and Monti was very memorable to look after. I communicated mostly with Kate, who went above and beyond to give me recommendations for the area, make me comfortable in their home, and advise me of Monti’s little catty quirks. Monti himself was a pleasure to look after. He is the cuddliest cat I have ever come across and very easy going! The perfect first experience with TrustedHouseSitters!
How to describe this sit? Amazing😍 We arrived in Köln and were picked up by Barbara and welcomed with a delicious meal by her and Markus. They showed us around and we had coffee together. We felt so welcome! They are truly a wonderful couple, it was like being invited by friends. Communication was easy as Barbara was always quick to respond to any questions. The house is very beautiful and comfortable and clean. It has everything you might need and more (good kitchen!) We enjoyed the sun and the garden, watching and listening to the birds. It's in a nice neighbourhood very close to a tramstation and restaurants and stores. Many nice vegan options as well (check out Rotkehlchen!) The grand Farodin - both in size and character haha - is a total sweetheart of a cat who immediately made us fall in love with his meows. He is very communicative, we loved it! He chilled all day on different soft surfaces and would beg for food and attention in the most adorable way (no countersurfing though!). His meows varied from mrraauu to mkah to vrrr and many more😁. Both adorable and funny! For a gentleman of his age he's actually very quick when you play with him which is fun (as long as it lasts). He's easy to take care of. Farodin is definitely one of our favourites. We will miss him and we'd definitely love to come back again! Thank you Barbara and Markus for being such warm and generous hosts❤️
Jennifer and Elwood are lovely! He’s takes a bit to warm up but within a day he was super cuddly and such a sweet companion, following me around everywhere. The house is beautiful and the area has a lot to see and do, and there’s a great bakery nearby which Jenny showed me. Elwood walks very well on the leash and is such an easy dog to take care of. A great experience.
