This sit was great! Quinn and Mark couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly, and Domino and Chocolate are the most adorable, playful pair! Everything was very straightforward and I loved being in Lisbon- especially because I had some family there at the same time. They are located basically on top of the train station which is ideal, and it made the whole city really easy to access. The house itself is lovely too, with lots of light and space. This was one of my first sits with THS, and I really enjoyed the experience! I can’t thank the four of you enough Xx
It was a pleasure to look after Oscar. My communication with Stephen & Ben was very detailed and clear from the time the sit was confirmed until departure. Both Stephen & Ben are so welcoming to their lovely home, I received a detailed handover of the house and Oscar. It was nice to go up the night before as I was travelling a fair distance it was less stressful for all of us to ensure I was not delayed on the journey, but time to get to know Stephen, Ben & Oscar. The house is very comfortable and in walking distance to York, but there is plenty to explore by car in the area as well. Oscar loved fuss and cuddles, especially at night. He was an easy cat and a delight to look after.
I had a lovely time looking after Coco aka Coconut, which was my little pet name for her. It was great to meet Alice beforehand for a tea and a chat about Coco and her flat. Coco is a very sweet cat. She loved to to follow me around and collapse in front of me for belly rubs. This is such a characteristic habit of hers. Many cats don’t enjoy that at all but she loves it. She seemed very happy and content. She has many toys and loved a little play time in between. Alice showed me how to administer her allergy medication and it was absolutely no problem to do that. The flat is spacious and comfortable and there’s lots to do and see in the area too. Although most of the time I was working on this short sit. I think Coco enjoyed having me around and keeping her company. She a gorgeous little companion and I would definitely recommend this sit. I hope I can look after her again in the future. I was thrilled to find this sit. Jamie and Mary were the perfect fit and I couldn't believe how much our profiles had in common. I was welcomed with smiling faces and open arms into their beautiful home and greeted by two very excited dogs and one very chill sun-soaking cat. My week here was wonderful. The neighbourhood is great for walking, going out for coffee or ice cream and soaking up the sun. To be honest I didn't need to leave the house much! The early morning and afternoon walks with the dogs were lovely, but we were all so happy to hang out at home otherwise. I got lots of cuddles from Georgie and Wim while I wrote or read on the couch or in the yard and they slept in the bed with me at night which I loved. Jack is a big sweetheart who loves chin scratches and pets but prefers his own space within earshot of us when we are all relaxing. At night I enjoyed watching TV in the den with all the pets cuddled with me. THE BEST! Meal times and walking and taking care of these cuties were all very easy and lovely. They're all very loving animals. I miss them! Jamie and Mary have a beautiful, bright, clean home that was a dream to take care of and they left me some delicious treats which were an unexpected but extremely thoughtful thing to do. The communication was open and easy throughout the whole process. Thanks, Jamie and Mary for being kind, flexible, and generous hosts. I would look after your home and pets again anytime in a heartbeat.
Great house in a nice walkable town which is great because Khan enjoys a couple walks a day. He’s a popular dog around the neighborhood! Anthony and Becky were kind upon meeting and took the time to walk us through everything. If you’re there in the summer/spring, there is a big garden to take care of with lots of veggies to eat, and there is lot of landscaping to care for. We enjoyed exploring Cheshire and nearby towns!
Lola and Neenah are amazing dogs to sit. Well trained, predictable with their eating schedule and so well behaved. We developed a great routine of early morning breakfast, second sleep, lots of ball throwing and an evening swim for all of us after dinner and bed. All amenities were thought of for my stay. I highly recommend this family as a great stay. Communication was clear and concise. I had such a great time with these two pets and enjoyed the conversations with the family as well.
