Melanka

Melanka and Hora were great sitters and are welcome in our home again any time. They looked after our dog, cat and home as if they were their own. They kept in touch with us, took in home deliveries that arrived while we were away and Hora even did some repair jobs around the house which were much appreciated. We met with Melanka and Hora the night before we left on holiday and they are very nice people who I would recommend to anybody for looking after your home and pets.

Noortje & Alec were perfect pet & housesitters. Our dog was happy & had a great time with them. He was healthy & settled on our return. The house was spotlessly clean & there were snacks & a meal ready for our return. The couple did many extra things to care for our house & garden. What charming & wonderful people! Claire took care of our three guinea pigs wonderfully. One got ill just before she arrived and she nursed him really well while we were away, keeping us updated the whole time. She cleaned their enclosure impeccably and left our house clean and tidy! We would happily have her sit for us again and recommend her wholeheartedly to any pet parents around the world. Vera

Vera looked after our English Bulldog for one night & everything went very smoothly. Vera was so sweet, very competent & organised & the communication was great!! We have no doubt that Basil was happy & well taken care of while we were away.

Bambina and Shark had a nice time with Natasha and her kids. We asked them to be one day earlier and it was not a problem for them. We kept in contact with Natasha every other day and she sent us pictures and videos about the kitties. They left the house clean and organized

Henri & Annelies

Henri and Annalies were great. Friendly and obvious dog lovers. Sacha, our 8 month old cocker, was recovering from a fractured scapula and they managed to cope with a dog who was meant to be restrained but wanted to run and play. If I have a comment, it is that they were too soft in that respect but I know how hard it is to enforce cage rest on a hyper active puppy. I don’t think it was clear from the outset that they would be bringing their own dog but he had a splendid temperament and helped Sacha socialise (as opposed to roughing up our older, very gentle spaniel, which was his previous form of interaction). The house was beautifully clean, the sheets and towels all laundered and milk etc left for our return. All in all very happy to ask them back if they are free in the future.

Amazing, kind and clean young family. We would gladly have them back any time! Our dogs were well looked after and our home was cleaner than when we left it.

Malou & Henk

Coming home after 10 days away we found the house clean and tidy. The dogs barely lifted their heads to greet us, as they had clearly become firm friends with Malou and Henk. How lovely to find such contented dogs on our return. They had been so well looked after, and Malou sent regular photos and updates of their adventures whilst we were away. We would highly recommend Malou and Henk-just beware your pets may have divided loyalties after their visit!!

Fleur is a great person, very sweet with the cats. She is easygoing, clean and organized. She communicates well and responds quickly.

Giulia and Cristina were absolutely lovely, very caring and genuine people- it was a pleasure to have them stay and take care of Saffy. We were really happy to meet them and hope they might be able to stay another time!

THE DREAM DOGSITTERS!

Meghan & Scott were the best sitters I have found on TH - and have ever found in over 5 years of having a dog. I honestly felt like I should have been paying them for their dog care. They went absolutely above and beyond with Baxter, my lab/ retriever cross and they would definitely be my first choice in the future. They are extremely communicative, reliable and responsible - I felt completely at ease leaving Baxter and my flat in their care for a full month. Baxter adored them (and I think is now missing them) and they respected all of my rules (or lack of!) for Baxter, like letting him on all the furniture, which I really appreciated. They have a genuine love for animals and it was clear that Baxter’s happiness and well-being was their no1 priority.

Meghan and Scott went the extra mile looking after the flat, leaving me incredibly thoughtful gifts, a completely spotless flat (with fresh bedsheets and towels) and taking in packages throughout the stay. I would welcome them back as dog sitters, or indeed, as new friends, without hesitation. I can’t recommend Meghan and Scott enough - thank you both so much!
