From the moment I read Anouk’s application knew she would be the perfect sitter. We had a nice video chat which confirmed that feeling. Because Anouk lives in The Netherlands she was able to come over a week before I left for the handover. This enabled us both to come and leave at our leisure and not worry about the handover right before/after travelling. Anouk is a very calm and friendly person and my cats took to her immediately. Communication before, during and after the sit was always comfortable and quick and she sent me some photos and videos of my cats and chickens who were all looking happy and healthy. I especially loved the photo of my cat Pippi on Anouk’s lap just an hour or so after she’d arrived. It made me feel confident my pets were in good care. I came home to a clean and tidy home with some fresh milk and yoghurt in the fridge and a lovely handmade card, as well as happy pets. I can highly recommend Anouk and would love to have her return anytime.

Nathalie, Richard and Scott took very good care of our three medium/large dogs. We felt like they were left in good hands. One of our dogs developed an issue with her paw just before we left which made her anxious on certain grounds. Richard was great and actually carried her for part of the walks to make sure she wasn't left out of the fun. They were great communicators and gave regular updates (with photos). They left the house very clean and tidy. Even replacing the oat milk we left for them.

Lisse and Adriaan were excellent house sitters. Communication was great leading up to the sit and they kept us informed of their travel plans before hand. When they arrived they immediately established a rapport with our dog Ruby playing and chatting with her. This was lovely as it put our minds at rest in those anxious hours before leaving. They were supper efficient during the stay watering the garden and looking after the pets. They handled a minor thorn in the paw injury sensibly and without drama taking Ruby to the vet after communicating with us. I had every confidence that they would have been able to handle a crisis if it should have arisen. The house was tidy and clean when they left and we would not have known they had been here. Both our cat and dog has obviously been well looked after. I would recommend them highly.

Shuxin

Shuxin is the sweetest, calmest and most dedicated pet sitter you could wish for with a heart of gold and lots of love for animals. The way she took care of my 6 (mainly senior) dogs and 2 cats during my absence was heartwarming and with very much care and attention to the individual character of each of my animals. Not an everyday house sit, as there are 8 furry friends in total. I received photos and updates every day and did not have to worry about my animals for a minute. Great family, great communication throughout my sit, with an extensive notebook to refer back to, which was great to have! A welcoming home, with lots to do nearby - both culturally and cuisine. The Farmers Market was fun on Saturday’s too!!
I LOVED and thoroughly enjoyed bonding with the most lovable blue pit. Roger was a showstopper everywhere we went!!! We were nearly inseparable and enjoyed the dog park often, due to the closing of state and national parks in NM (due to fires). He is SUCH the gentlemen and I will miss his sweet spirit by my side. They cats were sheer entertainment and the chickens were fun to learn about. I enjoyed many fresh egg meals!! I always got excited to see each day how many eggs would be waiting for me!
I highly recommend this sit if you like a laid-back, quiet and organic experience. Thank you Becker family and lovies…

This was a wonderful sit. We loved the location of the home, and we felt so relaxed. Most evenings were spent on the patio, people watching and enjoying the sunset. Kaneki and Suki are both such characters, we really enjoyed getting to know them.  Suki is a bit shy, but with time we earned her trust and she opened up and stole our hearts.  Kaneki is a social guy, and gave us lots of cuddles from the get-go.  We were  so sad when we had to leave!

we would love to say big "Thank you" for choosing us to take care of Crispy and Max. Thank you for your hospitality and trust. It was wonderful time! The cats are super sweet! Max wanted to be around and was very curious all the time. Crispy was shy and needed more time to leave "the shell".  They both really loved to be outside on the balconies and just chill.
