Florence and Wayne took great care of our house and two cats during our 3-week vacation. They came early to meet with us and get oriented. They asked all the right questions and were agreeable to all our requests. They sent messages and pictures of the cats curled up on Wayne's lap. What more could one ask for! When we returned, the cats were calm and the house was immaculate--and they had a soup dinner ready for us! A fine welcome. It was also nice that they had as good a time as we did, taking advantage of all that Chicago offers, taking trains and walking everywhere. I would highly recommend Florence and Wayne as house and pet sitters and would love to have them back any time.
Anne was fantastic and we feel so fortunate to have found her. She is a very cheerful person and after the in-person interview we were confident that our cat and home would be be well taken care of. Anne did not disappoint us! She was always attentive to Maddie and spent large amounts of time quietly talking to and playing with her in order to reduce the anxiety of us being away. She ensured medication was administered as per the schedule which was critical for Maddie's heart and thyroid conditions. When we returned home, it was evident the two of them had bonded. She sent pictures daily to re-assure us that Maddie was fine. It was also evident that she treated our home as if it were her own. Everything was spotless and nothing out of place. We highly recommend Anne and would not hesitate to have her housesit for us again!
