It was a pleasure to look after Ted, and Chris's home. Ted was a ball of fun with a cute jump and lots of energy. He loves playing with his toys and can be entertained for a while like this. He obviously loves company, he will follow you around and will come and sit next to you and loves being stroked. He was a pleasure to look after. He also goes through food but seems to not put on excess weight (what's the trick, Ted?). Chris was easy to communicate with and was always there on the phone if there was a question. The place is a 15-minute walk away from the action of Peckham, which has lots of cafes, bars and supermarkets nearby. I recommend a visit to the Horniman Museum, Peckham Rye Park and Dulwich Park.
We appreciated Paul and Winnie sharing their home and hospitality with us for a well needed vacation. It was a lovely experience, relaxing, and frankly being entertained by the dogs. Joey is very sweet and loving, huggable at best and only lays by the door for a short time after his family leaves. lol Trumper seems to be the mature soul, and Doc Maghee, the pup, aka the energizer bunny and racecar driver. Well mannered nature in this group of fellas. We enjoyed our time in Naples and we highly recommend this sit with the family.
I've just had a super 3 weeks at Glenys and George's very comfortable home with their 3 great pets. Tinkerbell the cat was a typical cat and gradually day by day became more and more demanding ie of attention! Poppycocker and Ralph were great company, never more than a few feet from me, even overnight! I heartily recommend sitting here!
Philippa was such a warm and thoughtful host and we immediately felt welcomed by her joyous kindness and caring compassion. Her home is the picture of cosiness and surrounded by stunning views, as is Lewes in its entirety! We were thrilled by the energy, values, and charm of the community and definitely hope we will be back there, hopefully to care for sweet Millie again! Millie is an absolute gem who loves to talk to you, follow you about, and most especially to lie on you. We found naps with her to be pure bliss! It is truly nearly impossible to believe that she is an older cat, as her energy and zest for life are seemingly unstoppable and we felt honoured to spend a week with such a classy and cuddly little lady. We cannot recommend pet sitting for Philippa enough and we are so grateful to her in making our first Trusted Housesitters experience so fulfilling and rewarding.
I spent two weeks at Ann's home looking after Maya. She is a very sweet cat who loves a cuddle and exploring her backyard. The home itself is in a prime location in the heart of Hackney. Lots of cute delis and cafes a mere 1 minute walk away and London Fields only 5 mins away. All instructions were clear and Ann was a great, communicative host. Couldn't recommend this housesit more! Thanks for the stay :)
Watching Blondie was a joy to say the least! He is one of the sweetest and friendliest cats I have ever watched! From the moment I entered the house he was on my lap purring in a matter of seconds. He is playful and curious and such a great companion! And the sweetest cuddler of all! The house was perfect as well and Kim was such a wonderful host! She left me a little gift bag in the fridge for my arrival! Communication was excellent, I didn’t have any issues at all but Kim was responsive and quick to answer any questions I did have. The area is such a cool area. I found some local health food stores and was able to walk to so many things. And you can be right in downtown st Pete in a matter of minutes! I would highly recommend this sit and would happily sit for Blondie anytime!
