We had a wonderful time with 2 incredibly cute little Yorkies! Michelle and her family are just as wonderful and we hope we can come back to practice new tricks!😉😘

Rhu is a hilarious little gem of a dog and we cannot speak highly enough of her, and Kat, and this opportunity to housesit—the entire experience was a delight. The neighborhood is lovely, with the Hollywood Hills to the north, the energy of Hollywood Blvd to the south, easy access to the Metro red line (we tested this for 3 weeks with no car and can report that it works, not always well, but makes it one of the most feasible areas of LA to go carless). The pool and hot tub are a real treat. Kat left perfectly detailed instructions, so we could touch base every few days. And Rhu just made every day better by being an adorable little goofball who loves to go on walks (the joy! it's infectious!) and chill out next to you in between. She is a ladies' dog and shamelessly played favorites, making us laugh all the time. In short, we loved looking after her and would be back in a heartbeat 💕

We were fortunate enough to be chosen to take care of Sidney the cat; a wonderful, playful, inquisitive, sweet little guy. He stole our hearts immediately and we became good friends. He Loves to play (so important to keeping him happy in an apartment, he has lots of energy but will also relax and be restful) and to look out an open (screened) window when you are home, to make sure he's safe. He is a joy to care for.

The owners are organized, thoughtful and good communicators, and welcomed us into their home, which is an apartment in a prime Tucson location in the North east foothills. It is close to hiking at Sabino Canyon and to pickleball, tennis or walks at the expansive Udall park (both approximately 10 minutes away by car). A nice grocery store is about 5 minutes by car, and in the other direction, about 10 minutes by car is a Target, Safeway and just a bit further down Lowes and Walmart.

Sidney we found wasn't eating his wet food (he preferred his dry food) which was a little concerning for us, not knowing if he was getting enough food in him. We contacted the owners and they tried to put us at ease. We weren't sure if it was the type/brand of food or that he just as some cats do, prefers the dry.

The apartment was comfortable and super clean and well organized which was very much appreciated. It's clear that Betsy thought ahead of the sitters-with a brand new sponge in the kitchen, generous clean towels and bedding. The apartment is bright, perched on the second floor with lots of great windows and it was nicely and surprisingly quiet (we didn't hear the residents beneath). There is a nice ample table in the open living area to do remote work or writing on and another room with a dedicated desk at a window. Good WIFI as well, which was helpful.

We would definitely sit for this welcoming couple again.
If you have the opportunity, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this sit! Say hello to sweet Sidney the cat for us if you are chosen and enjoy him, the great location and the peace of the place.

We were able to meet Taryn, Waffles, and Wasabi a couple days before the sit. Taryn is so nice and welcoming and went over all the details with us. She also had a detailed guide for us when we arrived.

Waffles is the sweetest boy! He loves to roll over on his back and get belly rubs! He’s perfect on a leash and loves going on walks. Wasabi is a mellow senior cat. He mostly stays upstairs but lets you know when he’d like you to come up and give him some love. We would love to housesit for Taryn again!

Taryn’s home is very comfortable in a nice neighborhood.

Hannah
It was such a nice experience to stay at Hannah's place! The contact with Hannah was very easy and she was very flexible when we were accidentally standing at the wrong place :p The house is very nice, with nice bathroom, kitchen and tv and a garden! Kyneton village is on walking distance. But most important: the doggies are amazing! They are so happy and cuddly! It's also very easy to go from home for a bit, because you can leave them in the garden for sometime. Nice walking spots in the area as well! :)

Elizabeth and Dean were great and easy to communicate with. They made us feel comfortable and that we would be successful sitting their home. Their house is beautiful and filled with art--everywhere you look is art! They are very organized and left us a manual with directions on how to handle about anything that could come up. Sofi (their dog) is a doll--couldn't be much easier to live with. Texas Hill Country is beautiful--so you'll enjoy driving around, too!
