It’s only been a week and we truly miss Echo and Nova. We had a wonderful experience with this house sit. They are both so very loving, adorable, affectionate cats who enjoy curling up next to you sitting or when you are going to bed. It only took a few hours for them to be comfortable with us and our 17 year old dog Angel, they were so sweet to her. Todd, Victoria and Katherine have a lovely home in a great neighborhood. Would highly recommend applying to house sit here. We are grateful for this opportunity and our new friends.
Beck and Dion are just the loveliest couple, with two really cute Dogs. The Dogs don’t need so much maintenance just cuddling, playing and going on walks to the beach near by. Their home is just the perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature whilst having everything that you might need. We would love to go back anytime!:)
We were fortunate to be able to meet David and Ruth the night prior to our sit and they made us feel very welcome and comfortable in their home. We had not had a farmsit previously, however after a tour of their property along with plenty of information regarding the care of their animals, we felt confident that we would enjoy this sit. The animals are all fairly self-sufficient and friendly and even Alan the cranky drake was all noise and no bite! The goats are very friendly, especially Leroy who is a big softie and loves his cuddles. The cows require their water tanks checked daily and filled as required but apart from that they wander the property and only occasionally come up near the house to say hello. The house is very comfortable and sitters have their own bedroom and adjoining bathroom. The property is in a beautiful location with beautiful views of the valley. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the opportunity to relax in such beautiful surroundings. The fire pit is especially lovely on cooler nights! Communication with David and Ruth was easy and they were readily available if we needed to contact them. We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience at Hannam Vale and we would happily sit for David and Ruth again if the opportunity arose.
We had a wonderful time at Poppy’s. Gronk is a sweet boy with a goofy personality and very easy to take care of. Everything was perfect! Thank you so much for having us Aude, Tyler & Cero
Ros and her hubby Tim were the loveliest couple... the home was very accomodating and very lovely, but best of all was Jasper who was adorable. Jasper slept on the bed with me and is very snuggly, his snoring isn't to bad either (mine was probably worse) Jasper also has this very cute way of pulling his blanket over him when it's bedtime. He is also very very active and 2 big walks a day is definitely a must, so if that sounds challenging for you, this isn't the pet for you. I had a really great time looking after Jasper and splashing about in the pool after the long walks was a bonus that's for sure.
I enjoyed 5 warm and cozy days with Luna and Apollo. They are big low-maintenance cats--not super lovey but not crazy--when they come snuggle with you it's a real treat. Masha's home has great internet, great tv with comfortable couch for hanging out with cats, and a good kitchen set up. Masha was a very communicative host. The house wasn't sparkly clean but super comfy and in a great Portland location for walking to Laurelhurst Park and restaurants and secondhand shops on Hawthorne. It's the upstairs apartment so there is a flight of stairs if that's an issue for you.
