We had a great experience at Sandra's house. She was very welcoming and the house was confortable. However the "cold" showers took some getting used to! 😂 Good for the body though Spunky and Lilly took a few days to really warm up to us. They both are extremely cute and easy going. 🥰 You definitely need a car as they are many beautiful things to explore in the area. Thanks for your trust Sandra !
We had the best time with Bobby in Keswick. From the moment we started talking to Chris we knew it would be a brilliant stay. She was so kind, generous and helpful. We feel truely blessed to have her and Bobby as part of our story. The place was lovely and tidy, easy to take care of and was in the perfect location to access all the amazing things Keswick has to offer. Arran and Bobby became best friends and we were so impressed with all of his training and tricks. We already miss him dearly! We loved our walks through the park (the backyard) and playing ball, rain or shine! Thank you again Chris for everything and we hope to cross paths again soon! Xx
Wonderful people. Awesome animals. Location of their house is great, walking distance to Alberta. Clear, thorough communication and excellent follow through. Sweet and thoughtful consideration for our stay. House is very comfortable. Animals are engaging, interactive and friendly. For those with big plans during a house sit, these animals prefer consistent company. On a couple of day trips, the dogs accompanied us on our trips and were excellent companions. Grateful for the time and experience.
I had a wonderful sit with Mishka, she is a very, very sweet kitty who loves cuddles and is also very independent. She's older so will sleep a lot, and uses the litter to poop but does pee next to it on potty training pads, which you have to check and replenish, being mindful of it not going onto the wooden floor. Peter and Ricardo have a lovely home, with lots of thought going into design, they have an eye for style and it shows with their furnishings and art all around. The house is in a wonderful location with free street parking across the street, and everything you need within a 2 min drive, short bus ride or stroll. Bus 27 goes right past the house and will have you downtown in 15 mins - leaving you to walk around without the stress of parking! Or an uber is just $10. I had glorious weather and enjoyed coffee and drinks on the 4 floor balcony, with incredible views. I also really enjoyed their bath tub, it felt luxurious. All in all a fabulous sit that I would love to return to someday. Thanks Peter!
What an absolutely fantastic sit! Bugsy is so adorable and funny. 💗 Tia and Max are super hosts, extremely responsive and kind. It was such a pleasure to sit for them and I had lots of fun playing with my cute furry friend. I'd recommend this sit to anyone looking for an easy pet in Bristol, central location is very handy.
Spending some relaxing time with Boxer and Sydney was a perfect break for me during university break. Shannon and Blake’s house is easily reached with public transportation which was important to me and the town had a supermarket only five minutes from their house which was super practical. There is also a nice park right by their house which Sydney enjoyed walking through every day. Shannon and Blake’s house was super comfortable to stay in! I also really liked that they have an enclosed backyard which is great for the dogs. Shannon is super organized and is really great with communication which made the housesit go very smoothly. She sent a very thorough document with ALL the info one would need to take care of the dogs and the house. I loved the attention to detail and felt like she had really covered every thing. I got there a day early which was very useful to get to know the family and their typical routines. Shannon showed me how everything in the house works and the normal routes for the dog walks which I appreciated. We even had a nice dinner together which was so sweet! After the family left, Shannon was reachable through texts the entire time and she always answered promptly. I was even able to text the dogs Veterinarian with any concerns during the stay which made things more comfortable and reassuring for me since the dogs are older. And of course the best part of the stay was hanging out with Boxer and Sydney. Boxer is an amazingly sweet guy and he stole my heart! He has some more special needs since he is older, but Shannon prepared me well for exactly what to expect with him- restlessness and needing to go out often in the night, which I was okay with since I have experience with older dogs. I spent a lot of time cuddling with Boxer which I loved. What a special guy. Sydney was also super sweet and very funny. She has more energy and is happy to play ball with you which I enjoyed! Going on walks everyday with Sydney was also nice because she was always in such a good mood and excited to go out. Overall it was a very nice time and everything went smoothly thanks to great communication with Shannon and her detail oriented housesit guide. I spent most of my time at their house doing some school work, reading, knitting and petting the dogs which was a very relaxing time for me and I will really miss the dogs!!!!
