I can't recommend Zach and Kelly enough! They looked after our two dogs, horse and small farm for 6 days while we went away and they did so fantastically. They showered the animals with love, watered all of our plants and left the house in perfect condition. Kelly sent me a few photos and messages a day letting me know how the animals were. We had such a blast caring for Sucia and Willow. Sola and Orrin’s home is gorgeous and they were so hospitable welcoming us into their home. Stunning views and loving pets, couldn’t ask for a better sit!
Very clear communication from Bill and Marsha prior to arrival. Gus was a pleasure to spend time with. He love’s attention when it’s offered but he’s not pushy. The home was very comfortable with amazing views of the False Creek waterfront and docks. Numerous amenities within a short walk so a vehicle isn’t necessary I’d be happy to keep Gus company again.
Marie-Jose & Abe are SOOO lovely. When we arrived they had dinner with us all and made us feel so welcome and at home. Izzy & Zora are the biggest sweethearts. Zora is young and so took a couple days to warm up to us but once she did she’s so cuddly and loves to be around you all the time. Izzy is so easy to care for, she’s 13 but still has energy for walks and likes to relax at home. We would definitely come back and look after the girls again!! The Hague is beautiful. Emily & Luke ☺️
I got to house and pet sit for Laura over the most recent Holiday Break and it was extremely enjoyable. Laura was very responsive and her instructions for the housesit were very clear and easy to follow. Plus, George and Marvin were really amazing and easy to take care of. I felt extremely comfortable letting them off-leash at designated parks as they were great with other dogs and would not run off on their own/responded to their names being called. When I first arrived at Laura's home, George was a little growly and so I would recommend spending a good 10 minutes getting him to become comfortable with you. However, he's all bark and no bite. I immediately took both him and Marvin for a walk to help solidify the trust. Marvin was also so sweet and very easy-going! Most of the time I'd find him curled up under a blanket or in the spot of sun in their backyard. Laura's home is located in a nice and very central neighborhood that is about a 7 minute drive away from the beach. As a solo woman, I felt very comfortable walking around in the daytime and, with Marvin and George, at night as well. If you don't have a car, there are city bikes located right down the street from her home that you can rent. I found myself biking to the beach (about 15 minutes to the waterfront/pier) a lot. Paseo Nuevo is also less than a 10 minute bike ride away! This was truly such an amazing stay and a nice way to spend my holiday break. Thank you again for allowing me to watch your dogs and your home.
It was an absolute joy sitting with Pixie Pearl in Richmond! The house is warm and inviting. I arrived the night before, so we had a chance to get to know one another. Sharon and her husband are both lovely people. Communication was great while they were away. Pixie Pearl is a wonderful dog. She's smart and affectionate. Just an all around great dog. I highly recommend this sit and would love the opportunity to do it again.
Sitting for Nick and Alisa was an incredible experience! From their warm welcome (including an evening in the town square with some of their friends) to their excellent advice on what to do and see to their lovely gracious home, I felt immediately comfortable and as a bonus, feel I have some new wonderful friends! And speaking of friends- Baxter and Mollie are the most delightful fur friends one could ask for! Mollie is a little sprite, full of energy and zoomies, and loves a cuddle and belly scratch. Mr. Baxter is a sweet old gentleman who will surprise you with a burst of goofy energy out of nowhere, dropping to roll around on the ground or trotting ahead of his sister to show off! The walks in the hills, coming across a little hidden cafe or old donkey path or ancient well, are something I won't soon forget. I can't recommend this sit highly enough and hope to see this sweet family of four again soon!
