I really enjoyed my stay with Penny and Gigi!Both animals were incredibly sweet and chill, mostly napping throughout the day. I looked forward to walking Penny in the neighborhood. She’s great on a leash and never pulled. Gigi came for all the pets and cuddles once she realized I was sticking around for a bit. The home was clean and in a convenient neighborhood near grocery stores, restaurants, and entertainment. Kelly and Greg met with me before they left and they were incredibly kind and easy-going. I felt comfortable communicating with them. I highly recommend staying here if you prefer a peaceful home and easy routine! Hope to come back :)
Hannah’s place was fabulous. Once she warmed up to us, Jessie loved to alternate between playing & lap time. The house was very comfortable & easy to maintain & Jessie was also very low maintenance. The location is so clean and new with lots of parks and a great shopping centre close by. Even though the family were on the other side of the world communication with Hannah was regular & easy. We would highly recommend this house sit to other cat lovers.
What a wonderful sit. Susan and Paul are the most charming couple, really responsive and friendly. They gave us a full tour of the house and left very clear written instructions about Roxy and Puzzle and the house. The house was very clean and comfortable and we especially loved the grounds such a beautiful place to walk Roxy and Puzzle. Roxy and Puzzle are a absolute pleasure to look after. Absolutely adorable, entertaining and well behaved. They are full of life and so playful.... then fast asleep. Walking them was a pleasure and both had really good recall. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this sit. We can’t wait to come again Dave and Annette
I had a lovely week staying at Lizzy's cosy home and taking care of sweet Mikki -the ideal workcation by the sea! Mikki is a really affectionate, very well trained dog -I miss her already! Mikki has some specific needs, and Lizzy is clear with explaining these beforehand and providing everything required e.g. Mikki's cooked food, medication for emergencies. Mikki needs three short walks a day (there are plenty of lovely places nearby to walk her, including a dog friendly beach 5 minutes away!) and she is also very happy to accompany you to cafes and will even wait patiently on the beach for you while you swim. As she can't be left alone for more than about an hour, this sit may be best suited for someone who is a remote worker. However Lizzy also provided the contacts for her boyfriend and a friend who live nearby, who could've watched Mikki if I needed to go out without her for a few hours, which was really helpful and thoughtful of her to arrange as a potential backup if needed. Lizzy was also easy to communicate with when I had some queries during my sit. I would gladly return and take care of Mikki again in the future, and would recommend this sit to other dog lovers.
Such an amazing stay!!! We miss everything about it already. Noodle is the sweetest and best behaved dog I ever met, I miss our daily walks a lot. Also the walk route around the lake nearby is stunning. In general you have the most wonderful hikes either by foot or a short car ride away. Boulder really is an amazing destination for outdoor enthusiasts all year round. Pabu and Momo are real cuties too! very cuddly. Pabu is eager to eat everyone's food, but Ben&Laura left super helpful instructions and tools so we could make sure everyone gets their fair share. In general the house manual is extremely helpful and really contains everything that anyone could need. Thank you soso much, Ben&Laura for your flexibility, generosity and trust!! We would be excited to come back any minute!
We had a great time looking after the kitty’s. Gene and Shawn have a beautiful apartment so close to all of the fantastic surroundings in Sitges. Great stay!

Tails In The City is simply the best dog service imaginable. I have moved for work quite a bit since I first got my dog Penny, and this is the only daycare, boarding experience she is fundamentally happy to go to. Ken and Gary care so much about the dog son their care, and are simply wonderful people. Tail towers was a game changer for me in Amsterdam. Penny got picked up in the morning and dropped off late afternoon every week day, she got multiple walks a day, tons of play time with the other dogs, and so many places to nap and be comfortable. When I traveled she was loved and cared for as if she were their dog. Don’t hesitate, get your dog signed up for Tail Towers as soon as you can!
Gary and Ken have been our dog walkers/ sitters now for almost the entire 2 years we have been in Amsterdam. They've always been there for us whether its been for a vacation, or just me getting stuck at work late. Our dog Buddy goes twice a week for Old Doggy Day Care and the pictures Gary sends definitely show Buddy is having a great time. I'm pretty sure Buddy likes Ken more than me.
Tails of the City is amazing! Our dog goes there every week for the daycare and she absolutely loves it. Gary and Ken provide us with lovely pictures and videos which make us feel not only that our dog is safe there but that she is having loads of fun (and so are they!). It is definitely her favorite day of the week. I used to joke that she prefers Gary to us, but I’m starting to suspect that is actually true. Highly recommended!
I highly recommend Tails of the City! I am really grateful to have found them after so many bad experiences in Amsterdam. Tails is trustworthy, consistent and caring - and I think it really comes down to one simple thing: They love animals. Tails takes such good care of Joey, who is getting old and sick. They are gentle and calm, and give him just the right chin skritches to make him a happy cat. The best part - they send cute photo updates. You really can't ask for more. 😸
Gary and Ken (who run Tails of the City) are the people I trust most with looking after my Frenchie, Albie, whilst I'm at work / away from Amsterdam. Both of them care so deeply for all the dogs that they look after and make sure that they have great experiences through play, walks, snuggles and sleep! They're also great at communication with me as an owner - a couple of times, changes in Albie's behaviour/habits have been shared which has led to me making different decisions with him (in particular going to vets or re-training him in some areas). Throughout the daycare days, they both send updates to me to show me what Albie is up to during the day which always brings a smile to my face. Ultimately, they love the animals they care for like their own and - through the good and the bad times - make sure the animals have everything that the need. I could not recommend Tails of the City enough! 5 Stars. Top marks. 10/10. (Thanks for being such great carers of my little one)
We absolutely love everything about Team Tails! Ken and Gary have been looking after our older dog Ginger for 2.5 years now, and their newer team member Megan has recently dog-sat twice as well. All three of them are fantastic people that we (humans) totally trust while we're away, and our dog thinks they're the greatest, too. I don't think you'll find a more professional, communicative, and loving team in Amsterdam to take care of your animals. Just make sure to book them in advance because they're quite popular. Initially, Ken & Gary helped me with my 2 kitties when I was traveling. I have had friends stay with my cats and the kitties seemed more demanding and needy than after a week with Team Tails. I knew my cats were well cared for, played with and loved from how they responded when I returned. Since I adopted my rescue pup from Serbia, Team Tails has been my saving grace! From urgently taking care of my boy for two weeks when I had a family emergency to helping him grow into a confident, playful, dog-friendly pup at doggy daycare, Team Tails has been loyal, attentive, dependable, kind and generous.
Tails of the City are among the best dog walking and sitting service I’ve ever used. Gary and Ken treated our Harvey like he was their own - including helping us rehab him from a serious injury. When we travelled, we never worried about Harvey - we knew he was in the best care possible and we appreciated the regular updates both during his weekly walks as well as when we went away. I can’t recommend them enough and our only regret about moving to the next town over is that we couldn’t take them with us. We’ve had a really awesome experience with the Tails team. Our dog is still young and Ken, his primary caretaker has been so amazing at helping us be consistent on training and what behaviors we want him to practice. I love Team Tails! We've been clients of theirs since we moved here in October of last year. Wally is absolutely in love with Ken & Gary (and before, Shannon as well). I know how much Wally enjoys getting walked by them because he never looks back when he has to leave and he always comes home happy. Our cat Maggie never really liked staying at a cat pension. It stressed her out, and she'd often come home scruffy and anxious. Looking for an alternative, we came across Steven from Creature Comforts Pet Sitting, and we couldn't have been luckier. From the first interaction, Steven was always quick to respond, accommodating, and transparent. Before the cat sitting period, we had a first meeting to provide the keys for the apartment, and for Steven to meet Maggie. Maggie, being a former stray, is usually pretty shy around strangers, and didn't really approach Steven during the first meeting. From Steven's first visit onwards, though, Maggie became super affectionate, approachable, and relaxed. We got daily updates on Maggie, plus a photo and sometimes a video. Steven took the time to give Maggie plenty of pets, brush her, or play with her during his visits. Even when we had a special request such as an earlier visit on a certain day, or watering our plants, Steven was more than happy to accommodate. In addition to the wonderful service, Creature Comforts' daily rate for a 20-minute visit is hardly more expensive than any nice cat pension in the Amsterdam area. Plus, your cat gets to stay in her familiar surroundings, and can stay much more relaxed that way. We are incredibly happy with the level of service, kindness, and attention to detail at Creature Comforts. Steven took wonderful care of my bunny while I was away! He was very conscious and attentive to her needs (especially on a particularly hot summer day), and I felt at ease knowing she was being cared for with love. Steven was very professional and communication was great with daily updates and photos. Creature Comforts is now my go to pet sitter!
Amazing business, Steven provided fantastic care to my 3 cats while I was away. He came everyday and send me photos and videos to reassure me the cats were doing well. As we all know cats are not always very welcoming to newcomers but they loved Steven from the start. This is a wonderful business run with care and love. The owner is thoughtful, attentive, and communicative. He is incredible with cats and dogs. His calm demeanor helped our old cat (20 years old!) to feel comfortable and safe. He sent us pictures and videos each day he visited her and checked in to make sure we returned home from our travel, showing his own personal concern over our cat and her return to us. When we met with him to get our home keys back, he was generous with funny stories about our cat and with tips for the neighborhood (we were new!). We are very thankful for this service and will unquestionably return next time we need someone to take care of our old cat.

The Paw House Amsterdam has been Buddy’s second house for the last five years. Yvonne takes very good care of him, she is very responsible and reliable, regularly sends us updates and pictures. There was a situation when Buddy didn’t feel well. She took him to the vet and administered medicine. We are very happy with Yvonne’s services and fully recommend her.

Bentley has stayed with Yvonne numerous times over the past several years - for doggy daycare, weekend stays, and up to 2 weeks. I completely trust Yvonne to care for my pup. She sends pictures and stays in good contact and my dog is always happy to see her. One time while I was away for a long stay, my dog had an ear infection. We have been using Chris's services for about a year. He is great with dogs and our dog (Cody) loves going to stay with Chris. Chris is an excellent trainer as well. Every time Cody comes back from staying with Chris, he's learned some new trick or positive behavior.
What can I say about Chris and Delusional Dogs. Actually it's more about what our dog says (dog speak) and does when he knows it's time to go to Chris! He loves his play days when he spends the day with Chris and his other charges. And at the end of the day he is completely zonked out. What more can you want. Chris has also looked after our dog overnight on a couple of occasions and the photos show what a fun time he has. Chris has helped him be a better dog as well.Seeing Chris with his new mode of transport makes him a very unique sight around town! So all good and thoroughly recommended.
Chris is experienced trainer/sitter, took good care of our doggie, which is true relief during our away period. Our doggie was happy and became more social with other dogs. Chris also waived some extra charge, definately will come back when going out next time.

We left our dog for almost 2 weeks, all seemed ok by the photos, since he seemed to have regular walks on the forest (though we ask Pedro to not make him exercise so much for 8mc puppy extensive walking every day and playing later with dogs is just too much) . When arriving late evening during winter (January) we noticed our dog was outside with another dog without supervision, while other dogs were inside with Pedro and his wife, so we do not know If this was a regular thing and if he was more left outside during this wintertime for an extended period of time without even dog cover we provided (we did not receive single photo when dog had it during walks) In the beginning, we were concerned since we noticed one of the dogs was very aggressive to him. When getting the dog, he seemed very scared and confused of human contact (he run into the bushes when he spotted people, we need to wait for him to recognize us, then he come out ). When arriving home, we noticed he was not calm. He was coughing a lot and we noticed he had a lot of marks (scars) and still one wound in one of the legs, we cannot tell if this was in the forest/woods walks or any other reason, but was very concerning to see the dog like this. The next day we took to the vet and he confirmed that the dog had “Kennel cough”, a bad eye infection and wounds in this number do not look normal for him. Additional terrible contact with sitter after picking up the dog. Very rude person with lack of control of himself.
that was probably one of the worst times of his life. We pick him up super sad, scared & cold (I was hugging him at home and for almost 50min he was constantly shivering). He has a lot of small scars all over the body and what worse he had a very intensive cough. He scared us so much that first thing in the morning we took him to the vet. For these few days he is again with us he is getting better but he is afraid of people still.
Owner always think is all best from his side and he is always right. If something is not going as he wants he has very bad contact with a client.

Super nice people. We took great care of Boncuk (10-month-old Golden Retriever) during my stay in the hospital. Even had to sleep upstairs on their bed.....because he panicked downstairs.... Absolutely recommended!!
Great care, the dogs receive personal attention and are in a homely, pleasant environment. They also take an extended walk of 2 hours, to the beach or to the forest. Very satisfied and definitely recommended!

I was very happy when a friend told me about these petsitters because I only want the best care for my cat. David and Cassandra came to meet me and Flora a week before I was leaving and really took the time to get to know Flora and understand all her needs. I had only adopted her a few weeks previously so was a bit concerned about going away so soon after that, but she'd settled in well and I was just going for 4 days at Christmas, which had already been booked. Cassandra was fantastic, sending me updates and pictures twice a day. Videos were more difficult because Flora is super speedy when playing! When I returned she was happy to see me, but clearly very relaxed. I won't hesitate to use this service again and would highly recommend it.
Amsterdam Pet Sitter did an amazing job taking care of my 2 year old Australian Sheperd while we were away for 3 weeks. They took such great care of our baby and our house. Amsterdam Pet Sitter did a beyond excellent job sitting my 2 (very pampered) cats. My cats have trauma and don't react well to many things, including strangers. They worked with me and the cats, with additional meet and greets to ensure that the booked sit would go well. My cats need an emotional support human and someone to give them medicine. This was no issue for Amsterdam Pet Sitter. I got regular updates whilst I was away, including pictures showing how relaxed my cats were. It was so easy to work with Amsterdam Pet Sitters! After an initial intake meeting and thorough onboarding paperwork they stayed at my home to care for my endlessly energetic dog, Taco. They showed up on time, took great care of my dog and home, and were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend their company and will hopefully be able to work with them again.

I travelled first time to Amsterdam with my dog Winston. While it was great traveling to this dog friendly city, I wanted to take few hours and visit museums. My hotel concierge introduced me to Dave and Cassandra for pet sitting service. They are both very nice and reliable. They took great care of Winston while I was gone. I would definitely contact them next time when I return!
I recently used Amsterdam Pet Sitter to take care of my cats. As a pet owner, you’re always a bit nervous when someone new takes care of your babies. But David made sure I got an update every day on how they were doing! He even made sure to tell me if there were certain details, like how the cats were feeling. This shows that Amsterdam Pet Sitter (David and Cassandra) are good people and take professional care. They also made sure to do an intake, something I didn’t imagine. Dave and Cassandra have cared for our 20lbs. Terrier named Delilah for 4 years before moving abroad. We were all sad to see them, and their 2 cat brothers move away. I recently used Amsterdam Pet Sitter for a 2 day trip, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. From the very beginning, Amsterdam Pet Sitter’s was professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. My baby, Stitch, was immediately comfortable around them, which put my mind at ease. I received daily updates, including photos and videos of Stitch which were a delightful reassurance that he was in good hands. Dave and Cassandra went above and beyond by not only feeding and walking them but also engaging him in play and giving him plenty of affection. It was clear that they truly cared about his well-being. I will definitely be using their services again in the future! I threw out my back 2 weeks ago and Pumpkin Pie’s litter was in dire straits. Amsterdam Pet Sitter to the rescue! David was here the next day! David is lovely, attentive to details, and just a pleasure to deal with. Litter is scooped! My hero! I’m definitely planning on using him and Cassandra when I go on holiday!
