Eefje and Dion were great house and pet sitters and we would highly recommend them to anyone needing a home and pet sitter! Our dog loved them and was her happy and healthy self when we got home. Eefje sent daily pictures and check ins which were much appreciated. They also left our apartment clean and orderly.

I would thoroughly recommend Ineke as a Housesitter. She was extremely friendly and reliable and looked after our house and garden plus our dogs and hens. She watered the garden and looked after everything beautifully. She was unphased by people coming and going to the house and everyone commented on how efficient and nice she was. She sent me photos of the dogs while we were away to keep us posted and to let us know how she was getting on. Thank you!!

Fantastic sitters! Omar and Mike were well prepared, asking questions and even following up the recovery of one of my dogs that had knee surgery beforehand. Very enthusiastic, and clearly with much experience with dogs. My dogs were immediately at ease with them, and even the most difficult dog, a Komondor who is a bit wary of strangers, let them approach her. It couldn't have been better! Very clean sitters as well. Highly recommended! Thank you, Mike and Omar, for everything.

Vera looked after our English Bulldog for one night & everything went very smoothly. Vera was so sweet, very competent & organised & the communication was great!! We have no doubt that Basil was happy & well taken care of while we were away.

Jantine looked after our two rabbits over a long weekend and she was great! Jantine is a really nice person, who was very communicative before and during the house sit. She looked after our pets and the house very well, leaving everything clean and the buns happy. Thanks Jantine!

Lisa and Joppe had great communication, and looked after the cats well. They sent lots of pics of the cats playing and napping to let us know they were happy and comfortable. They also left the flat super clean and tidy. Would highly recommend them if you’re looking for your next sitter!

I absolutely loved having Caitlyn as a pet sitter for my dog Bob and my cat Morris. She was so kind for them and treated and cared for them really well. My house was also well taken care of - I didn’t worry at all while I was away! I also loved the updates and photos I received from Caitlyn, that made me feel really good. And finally, Caitlyn is really reliable and responsive. We had a good chat in advance, a zoom meeting and even a face to face meeting, which I really liked because it gave me a good feeling for Bob and Morris. So to conclude, I highly recommend Caitlyn!

Manon and Thomas came to pet sit our little cat Perdy while we visited Europe for a month and we were very impressed! They kept us up to date with how Perdy was by sending us regular photographs, and were very helpful in keeping our house kept while we were away. They were so friendly and very reliable and responsive to our messages and made the whole process very easy and lovely! Would definitely recommend these two for anyone who needs a pet sitter !

Manuela is a very sweet girl. She is social and kind to others. She helped my parents a lot (who live next door) and my mother really was a great fan of her. So she has good social skills. Manuela uses this site so she can find a place to stay, while she is looking for a job in the Netherlands or elsewhere in Europe. While she was staying in NL, she was following a study at the University. All that of course is not a problem at all; I realize that a lot of people here are using this site to find free or cheap accomodation. However this is a pet site, so the reliability and the quality of the petsitting should be the primary focus. 10 days before the sitting would take place, she informed me that she wouldn't be able to be present during the entire sit due to an in-person conference at the university that would last for a week. Of course this was less then ideal to me but since it was impossible to find another petsitter on such a short notice I went out of my way to find a replacement, and decided to pursue with her as my petsitter. However, half way during her stay she mentioned she would be gone for another week to do her exams at the university. So out of the entire month, she was only present for 50% of it. I had to make sure that I could find a replacement again. Luckily my stepdad was willing to take the care upon him. My pets are my babies so it is super important for me that the petsitter who applies for a period, actually is there the entire period. One of my cats, Frances was not eating well during her stay at my house. Of course that can happen; animals can get sick any time and that doesn't need to be a result of the care. However, my stepdad told me that the bowls in where the cats got their food in, were not clean and got dirty and even mold in it. When he stepped in and cleaned the bowls, Frances started eating again and after a couple of days he was back on his normal eating pattern. Another incident was with the rabbits, I gave her a manual in where I explicitly told her which veggies to give the rabbits and which not. I was not amused to see that she had fed them an entire plate of cut up carrots, while I had told her that they could only have a little piece of a carrot per day. My rabbits have supersensitive intestines and quickly to get gas problems. Carrots have a lot of sugar, so an entire plate can cause problems. Manuela did apply requests I made during my stay abroad; she did apply a spray against flies, when I asked her to and even washed one of the bunnies when that needed to happen. When I came home, I had to do some cleaning. Manuela hadn't noticed that the cats had been spraying on different places, including the kitchen counter and kitchen walls and cabinets. The state of the house was less important to me; I did notice she had cleaned the rabbit area very well so I was happy about that. I think Manuela did her best but just is a bit more casual about things then I would be.

We were so lucky to have Anke and her family look after our home and pets. Everything was perfect , they were so caring with the animals and it was such a relief to have them in our house looking after everything. They even took Roxy our on a bike tour with them to the local town,. Anke gave us frequent updates and Roxy was very upset when they left ! She kept looking for them. I would thoroughly recommend Anke and her family to anyone looking for happy pets and happy home.

Manya and Kenan were the best sitters I could have asked for. Although we did not meet in person, I was absolutely sure I could trust them with Pepper. They were very communicative, friendly and reliable and the apartment was sparkling clean when I returned. They updated me on a daily basis with pictures and videos so that I could enjoy my holiday knowing Pepper is safe and happy. I can totally recommend them as sitters and Manya and Kenan are always welcome in Aachen again. Thank you very much! All the best, Katharina & Pepper
