Jamie and her friend Karen were a joy to have visit my home and little farm. They worked hard, non-stop and didn't want to quit till the jobs were done. I trusted them completely with my animals and home. They were most respectful, willing and quick to jump in and help. Jamie is delightful, positive and at home with all the animals. Five stars across the board!
I was having great time. Pets were adorable. They are well behaved and don't cause any problems. They even welcomed me with joy and trust. Especially Tommy won my heart. Barbara's instructions were clear and she was really nice. Her home was comfortable to stay. Really close to city center, train station and all attractions.
We really enjoyed looking after Spud, Loki and Horse (the cat!) over the new year's period. Horse is always up for a cuddle and Loki and Spud are full of beans and act as a Batman and Robin tag team which is brilliant to watch. Throughout the stay Izzy was super easy to communicate with and was always on hand to answer any questions we had about the house or the pets. Izzy also kindly let us come back a little later to collect a package that had arrived late. Their house is lovely and quiet with a beautiful kitchen and outdoor space. Located in Upper Hutt there's easy access via car to the local town & neighbouring national parks and Martinborough east for good hikes and wine. Would definitely recommend to fellow housesitters!
Melina's place was absolutely immaculate and lovely! Maverick is a beautiful kitty who gets a little scared of new people, but will let you know if you can pet him or not. He's very easy to care for and especially liked playing with the laser pen. I'd definitely sit here again! I'll miss Maverick. Melina's place is in a great location. Very walkable to a lot of good bars and restaurants. Lots of things to do nearby such as walking the harbor or you can take the trolley elsewhere.
Shannon was such a welcoming and relaxed host, I felt at home before I’d even arrived! Her beautiful and incredibly clean apartment is in the loveliest area, with Hollywood sign views from the street! The apartment was super comfortable and had everything I needed. But the stars were of course Jones and Kevin, who were the most adorable, easy to care for duo! Jones was so good on walks around the amazing neighbourhood, and Kevin was incredibly affectionate. Couldn’t recommend sitting for Shannon highly enough! Would be back in a heartbeat! Thanks Shannon (and Jones and Kevin)! 😊
Cupcake and Creme is the sweetest cat in the world. They literally wag their tails and purrr. We miss them so much already. It was our pleasure to stay at Maaike and Adam’s place. Super detailed notes to make stay nice and comfy. Prime location close to everything. Very secure building. We stayed with 2 little girls and it was fabulous! We hope to visit again some day!!!
I arrived the night before Merve left the house. She explained everything about the house and about Arthur and Mindy who shortly came to me asking for cuddles. They are lovely, calm and sweet. They followed me everywhere in the house and made me company when I was working at home. Especially Mindy who used my luggage as her bed 😂 It was sad to tell them goodbye ☹️ It's super easy to get the center from the apartment, there are lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
