What a wonderful place to come and look after all the animals and enjoy the incredible views. The house on the hill was beautiful, with a 'garden room' and a lovely bedroom off, fantastic brand new kitchen and a cosy quiet lounge to sit with a log fire in the evenings. Darcy was such lovely company and we spent many hours exploring the surrounding woods and valleys straight from the doorstep. We loved feeding the chickens and finding the eggs for breakfast and walking around the 4 acres to check the 7 friendly sheep. Although Darcy was not excited about going in the car she did love going to the beach at Charmouth. If she didn't want to go I took that as no not today. I didn't realise Darcy was a bit of a food stalker until she ate my Camembert cheese off the counter and managed to sneak in and eat the cats food too! I don't think she felt well after that and I checked with the vet to make sure she was going to be OK.

This is a fabulous location, so peaceful and quiet, even on the many rainy days it was a really warm and homely place to have to stay in. It is a family home and I loved the big dining table to sit and work in the garden room. Darcy was a gorgeous gentle lurcher who let me know what she wanted and loved to have some soft cuddles and tummy stroked. The elderly (18?) Mummy cat was also a delight, telling me it was time for food all the time and wanting me to stand and be with her while she ate a little. She drank a lot and used her litter trays indoors. The sheep just needed a bucket of food every 3 or 4 days and when Darcy and I checked each day their long woollen coats were keeping them dry in the rain.
A superb sit and fantastic location. No need to get in the car! Yet all the delights of Jurassic coast just down the road. I would love to sit again with Darcy and all her animal friends.

What a wonderful sit !! I'm very grateful Arianna/Ari invited me to her cosy home to look after her Sweetheart, Gorgeous Cleo. From the moment I met Ari, she was kind, accommodating, so generous and extremely helpful. She has a sunny, warm and Lovely personality that is very welcoming.
Ari and Cleo's beautiful home is spacious, bright, comfortable and warm! The location is brilliant - walking distance to plenty of amazing cafes, bakeries--Gail's, one of my faves, supermarkets, charity shops to explore and restaurants.
Everything one needs is in close proximity-just outside the door. Cleo is a dream to look after. She is so gentle, communicative, playful, affectionate and loves cuddles. We developed the cutest bond and I miss her dearly, especially when she would scoot closer for cuddles🤗 and tuck herself under the warm, wooly blankets.
Ari and i kept in touch with daily photo-video updates of Cleo, my days activities and hers! Ari went above & beyond to ensure I felt welcome, comfortable, and that I enjoyed my time in her home and around the neighbourhood. I would highly recommend caring for Cleo: the sweetest, softest snuggler you'll encounter--Above Five Stars!! I would love to come back one day soon, catch up with Lovely Ari and look after Sweet Snuggly Cleo again. 🙏🏽..
Maximum Gratitude and Warm hugs to Cleo, Ari and her Dear Family.

Marnie
We had a lovely time with Neagan and Duncan!

They are both *very* good dogs, super cuddly and love attention - we adored having couch time with them. My favourite thing was the way they constantly bring you *something* for you to see - usually toys, but sometimes just a tiny stuffed foot that used to be part of a toy, but they are *so proud* to show you! It was really heartwarming.

They loved a walk but (as Marnie had explained) are still practicing walking on-lead. We took them out together, with myself walking Neagan and my partner walking Duncan. Duncan is definitely more of a leader, so we found it was best to let him walk in front about 5 meters. Neagan was very chatty, it was pretty cute. We also found that they preferred to go into the hiking trail (which is so close by!) than to walk around town - this was actually perfect as it was so nice and cool under the trees even on the very warm days we were there. It was also nice and quiet, which worked well as they are not yet used to meeting other dogs. They seemed to really enjoy exploring and we loved taking them out!

Marnie's house is in a picturesque town, with a lot of US-military-families. This was super fun because it meant that everyones english was perfect, and we could get American-style food like tex-mex (which we loved!). Marnie's restaurant recommendations were great, though I would recommended booking for a Saturday breakfast!

We did some sight-seeing in Kaiserslautern, and the tourist information centre was very good. They had a self-guided walking tour which could be done of the city, which was really our kind of thing. I also went to a *massive* nearby pool about a 15 minute drive - it was fun to have pool vibes so close to a forest.

Marnie and her partner Stephen were both very welcoming. We came a night early and she showed us where everything was. Their house is clean and tidy, and very comfortable. We absolutely loved meeting them, and hearing about their break on their return!

We had a wonderful stay in Mark and Marion's beautiful home. The location is rural, quiet and peaceful. The garden is huge and gorgeous. We just loved it. And Rum is so easy to take care of. He spends most of his time outdoors and is very independent. We mostly saw him when we were sitting in the garden or taking a walk on the property. He would suddenly appear and allow us to pet him, and after that we wouldn't see him again for hours. We totally recommend this sit and would be happy to sit for Mark and Marion again in the future.

This was our first sit as „official Housesitters“ and what can I say, it could not have been better! Anna is not just super sympathetic, funny, consciously, care taking .. no - she is the perfect host! We arrived in a spot-less clean, beautiful apartment and found everything we could have asked for. Anna’s taste for art, interior design and how everything fits together is just fabolous. Every day you discover some new details and if you think „ok, now I got em all“ - voilà, there appears a new cat in the woods :)

If you have the opportunity to meet the cat of the cats - don’t miss out on Geszti! What a beautiful, elegant, burning with curiosity, sophisticated, playful, super smart and just f***in awesome cat! Wow. She
got our hearts in the very first second but hey, you have to own hers first. In the beginning we were most-ly good for playing, spying, sniffing and hangin out (from a distinguished distance of course). Chasing the twin and playing hide and seek was daily business and the best icebreaker. After a few days and determin-ing „ok, you human beings are alright“ she becomes your shadow, your very best friend and turns into a real Kuschelkatz.

We can honestly say Geszti became our no. 1 cat of the hearts (together with Katzo from Sardinia but he is a he, so all good, you are our queen of the hearts) and we are Anna very thankful for this opportunity and hope to be back very soon.

My stay with Danielle and her furkiddies Zorro, Zia, and Ziggy was great! The cats are very smart, funny, cuddly, and also self-sufficient. Danielle set clear expectations and made sure I had everything I needed to take care of her pets and home. She frequently checked in and was super generous and considerate. Really wonderful and thoughtful people with a cozy, clean, and comfortable home! I felt very welcome and I would sit for them again. Really can’t express enough just how nice they are, it has been a pleasure! 10/10 I recommend!
