In short, everything about my experience was wonderful. Angela was incredibly responsive and generous with her comfortable home, just a few blocks from the park (which Ziggy couldn’t get enough of), restaurants, book shops, a Whole Foods, and just 10 minutes from downtown Portland. Daisy the kitty, was a little shy at first but quickly revealed herself as a warm little goofball. Five stars all around .. I’d go back any time.
Rita's beautiful house, nestled in the NC mountains, gave us a retreat with lots of puppy love. Bishop is the sweetest, most obedient, and kindest dog we have encountered. We enjoyed walking the quiet neighborhood and relaxing with Bishop on the porch. We laughed at the many ways he slept (he loved getting and we loved giving belly rubs!) including his favorite "burrito" nap, wrapped in his blanket. He got us up and moving with a jog-run (slow or fast) down the street, showing us his favorite parts of the neighborhood. He really found a place in our hearts. Rita and Tim were excellent communicators, keeping us informed of their travels and welcoming our short-story texts. The kitchen was well-stocked with every kind of kitchen tool we needed. We highly recommend Rita's house and would gladly stay with Bishop again! Thank you!
We had a lovely time staying at Christy's and are thankful she trusted us looking after chickens for the first time! They were a lot of fun and Mittens was very sweet and easy to look after. The garden was also a beautiful space to spend the afternoon and we loved having fresh and organic blueberries. The home is located in a very safe and nice area. Christy was always easy to reach, very flexible and helpful with any questions we had. Would 10/10 stay here again and recommend anyone to stay as well!
I have 3 wonderful days in Mark and Dawn house. Looking after Roxie and MJ was a joy, they are loving, and followed me literally everywhere 😄. Grateful for the kindness.
Shannon was so organized and gave me every detail I needed! Her home is beautiful and in a great location for walks. Rosie is such a sweet cuddle bug and was a pleasure to watch!
I enjoyed 3 amazing weeks with Koby, who definitely stole my heart. Beautiful pup, home and community, with great places for nearby hikes. I enjoyed seeing deer from the deck nearly every day. Molly provided very detailed care instructions and Molly and Alex made me feel welcomed and appreciated. I would definitely recommend this sit. Give Koby a hug for me.
