Amazing location, close to shops for groceries, not far from downtown. Great little dog park nearby for walking the pups, awesome townhome with lots of light and views of the mountains. The pups were super cute, very love-y when they were calm and chill. Bailey seems much younger than posted age (jumps on people a lot, not fully house-trained). Buddy is chill and a mega snuggler and loves his treats. Both seemed to want lots of exercise as they always wanted to dash out the door when it was open. Was hoping to trail run with them but they are better one at a time for that so they don’t tangle up or trip you. Walks are fine together and they love to sniff. Michelle was super easy to work with.
Jacob was easy to organise the sit with. He was clear and friendly upon arrival, even though I was a few hours late due to train delays. I was there for a short stay, so I didn’t get to know Penelope and Avery too well but they were easy to look after and always wanted to be around people. Penelope is very strong when taking her for a walk, but it was manageable. The location is fairly easy to get to and it’s a nice neighbourhood. I would stay again to look after Penny and Avery
Michaela is a great human being and host!! She has been very easy to communicate with. I am glad that we could share cups of tea and conversation before/after Michaela's departure/arrival! The flat is located in a very dynamic and multicultural part of London, which I found really fascinating to explore. There are coffee shops, baklava bakeries, and supermarkets with food from all over the world. Various tube and bus stations are in close proximity, which is also quite handy 🙌 The cats - Arthur and Tigga - are super sweet and well-behaved, and very work-from-home friendly :) Being an extravert, Arthur will befriend you in a heartbeat. Tigga, slightly more introverted, will show you love from a distance, occasionally approaching for some fuss Excellent sit that I would absolutely do it again and would recommend it to other sitters. Top marks!
Rocco and Alex are such wonderful animals. Very easy to care for and both are very affectionate. JP was responsive and helpful. Bring some warm socks and a bathrobe as the house can get drafty. A treat to housesit!
We could not have asked for a better first TrustedHousesitters experience! We had the pleasure of meeting Katie a week before the sit and felt very welcomed as she showed us around and guided us through Sydney and Annabelle’s daily routine. The home is beautifully decorated, and the accommodation is well thought out with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The house is in a great location within walking distance to many restaurants, a movie theater, grocery store and Central Park. Annabelle and Sydney are the easiest dogs to care for. They are very well behaved, playful and smart. Their personalities truly complement each other. Annabelle is very calm, loves belly rubs and a genuine sweetheart. Sydney is extremely spunky and loves to play. They are both well-trained and super smart. They love taking walks and playing with their toys but are perfectly content chilling at home while I worked. We highly recommend Katie and Jeff’s home and their adorable fur babies!
I have so many great things to say about this sit! Firstly, Domino is the sweetest, happiest boy. He always has a big smile on his face and loves loves everyone. He was great in the car and so well behaved at cafes/restaurants. Everyone who meets him just falls in love. Sarah was so hospitable and her home is gorgeous. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The yard was so nice to hang out in. I felt right at home. I would absolutely recommend this sit to anyone!
